  1. We receive computers from our IT department with Acrobat DC pre-installed. It is the very first thing I remove because it a) takes up over 2GB of space and b) runs resource-consuming, useless background services. As a point of fact, uninstalling Acrobat leaves behind those useless services. Those services do nothing for the user but consume resources. Acrobat DC itself is bloated and a huge pain to view documents with. Adobe completely takes it users for granted and produces low quality software as a result.

  2. I have Adobe Acrobat Pro DC on a Windows 10 computer. This software makes me log back in. I would tell you how often but this is inconsistent on my computer sometimes it goes a month but this week I have signed in twice. When I have to log back in it closes everything I'm working on which is a huge inconvenience.

  3. Only show license warning (there's an issue with your system clock...), if the date isn't correct for more than 1 day or so. Every month, when billing my clients, I change the local date and time to the 31st of the previous month (even if it's already the 1st or 2nd of the following month), so that I have the dates of the last month on the bill. So the system-clock-warning is really annoying and forces me to switch back and forward the clock all the time.

  4. The uninstall process left the highlighted programs still running on my machine after the uninstall completed successfully. this caused my google chrome web browser to stutter whilst playing videos. Funny how there's a .dll file with "chrome" in its name in that directory.

    Don't really appreciate software running on my PC without permission. Probably contacting Adobe servers to see if its a licensed copy. It was a trial version of Adobe Acrobat DC downloaded 2 weeks ago.

  5. Unable to perform an offline installation of adobe pro 2020.

    Version 20.0001.30002

    I have attempted to use the Adobe Provisioning Toolkit. I am able to generate a request code, accept the request code on adobe's website, and generate a response code.

    the response code provides error code 14 when entered.

    I continuously get the roundabout from adobe support that I just need to enter the response code when prompted and also that offline activation is not supported.

    The environment that I am installing adobe acrobat pro 2020 is completely offline and cannot connect to the internet.

  6. I have a personal subscription with Adobe (Lightroom and Photoshop) and I'm a named user on a corporate subscription (Acrobat DC). The current authentication processes make it nearly impossible to manage the identities concurrently on the same device. Ideally, Adobe would implement a user experience similar to MSFT O365 where I'm able to seamlessly switch between my personal and business licenses / identities.

  8. Your software auto-updated and forced me to restart in the middle of a workflow which was a massive pain. Make it optional so I can install at the end of the day like a normal program.

  9. Adobe Portfolio (https://portfolio.adobe.com/) is only available through Creative Cloud app (Portfolio is not a part of Document cloud).

    Actually, only Acrobat Pro DC has Portfolio web service included, because Acrobat Pro DC is part of the Creative Cloud (unlike Acrobat Standard DC).

    My idea : I would like to consider Acrobat Standard DC to be available through creative cloud (like acrobat Pro DC) in order to have Portfolio included.

  10. Elevated rights pose possible vulnerability with applications which grant these privileges in the C:\Program Files. Acrobat DC creates the folders below and grants everyone “modify” rights. to these folders:

    C:\PROGRAM FILES (X86)\COMMON FILES\Adobe\Adobe PCD\cache
    C:\PROGRAM FILES (X86)\COMMON FILES\Adobe\SLCache

    The following scenarios are presented:

    1. Install Acrobat DC but do not launch it. Modify the rights and remove full control. Acrobat DC will not launch.
    2. Install Acrobat DC, launch it. Modify the rights. Acrobat DC launches with no issues.

    Is there a way to modify your application so it installs without having the full rights present?

  11. Currently during the Add Licenses process, when supplying an email address to assign the license to, a Welcome email is not sent to this newly created user.
    Please add this functionality to the process.

    Currently in order to generate the Welcome emails to the user I must un-assign the license, save the account, then re-assign the license which then triggers the Welcome email.

  12. I am a writer. I use Adobe Pro DC so I can convert files from screenwriting software to a PDF file to email, etc the script. It takes time to write a script. Anywhere from a couple of months to a year, so the $14 a month I pay for the subscription is expensive. It's already expensive, but it's even more so for software I'm not using. I write MAYBE six scripts a year. If Adobe wants to charge me, fine, but maybe have it on a month to month basis, or make it cheaper where I can purchase the…

  13. I was advised that there is an existing bug (Cl217) on this but it does not appear to be resolved. Quick read on support community shows this issue has not been resolved since before 2018.

    I am being told I need to upgrade my subscription to create unlimited PDFs. When I click "Subscribe Now" it takes me to the payment page and tells me I already own the product.

    Consultants on the chat cannot help after over 5 hours of contact and 10 different consultants.

  14. Ich habe Adobe CC mit alle Apps gekauft und soeben alle Updates ausgeführt.
    Nach Start von Acrobat DC wird die App beendet mit Error 205.
    Alle Tipps zu Error 205 habe ich befolgt (Deaktivierung von AV- und Firewall).
    Bis auf Acrobat DC funktionieren alle anderen Adobe Apps einwandfrei.

  15. How can we tell Acrobat to automatically sign the user in? Right now, when the user opens Acrobat the first time, they're asked to sign in, click "sign in with an enterprise ID", type their email address, etc. before they can actually use the SSO piece.

    Our users log on to their PCs with the same identity the federated ID will use. Is there a registry key or deployment option we can set that will attempt to sign in with the logged in user's identity? We're trying to make this as seamless as possible for our users.

  16. Currently, licensed users are limited to only having 2 instances of a product active at any time. Now that users have multiple devices they need to have the product activated on, 2 is no longer enough.

    Please can you give us the option to increase the number of computers a license can activate by either creating a more expensive "plus" version or allow us to assign multiple licenses to a single user account.

  18. It will be nice if we can have the option to link 2 accounts on one computer. I have a personal account and a profesional account, both with paid subscription, and if I'm using one acount i can't access the apps on the other one. It's annoying to switch between accounts every time.

  19. So, I was flying today on plane without WIFI and could not proof my work because Acrobat was needing to connect. What happened? Acrobat shuts down. This is my first time ever posting here but have been using Acrobat for over 20 years. My thoughts? When in the air, give us 3-4 hours of free time to get our **** done. STUPID ADOBE!
