  1. My version: Adobe Acrobat 64 bit version 25.001.21223

If you put up files in “PDF Spaces”, there is no more facility available for searching files, even if it is OCR done file.

So, I had to remove my files from PDF Spaces & put these files individually in Adobe Cloud to enable search facility.

Very Very shocking for me. Can someone guide me on this ??

  2. Allow users to change font size for comments sidebar. Default size is too small. This is not only an inconvenience but also an accessibility issue.

  3. The find function in the desktop app often goes rogue, highlighting text in the document that bears no relationship to the text being searched for.

  4. Unlike a lot of users, I don't mind the home screen being there. It's a useful space - correction: it WOULD BE a useful space - with my recent files listed. Only trouble is, the top two sections on the home screen are "Recommended tools" and "Curated PDF Spaces". I have absolutely ZERO use for either of those sections on my home screen, but there is no way to customize the home screen to remove those sections so my recent files are at the top. It would be a lot more useful if it were JUST recent files. Sure, I…

  5. The "All Tools" sidebar on the left side of Acrobat acts like it will allow you to re-order the tools, but the functionality no longer works.

  6. i do not care about the cost. What i care about is that it takes 15 minutes to get Acrobat started on Win 10 old pc. Please make a lite version so it takes only 5 minutes to start. Thank you

  9. Find and Highlight for all occurrences of a word in one action, without using JavaScript, add to built-in functionality instead.

At this time, Adobe Acrobat does not have a native feature to automatically “Find and Highlight” all occurrences of a word in one action. While Acrobat does allow you to find text and manually highlight it, bulk highlighting across the document is not supported without using JavaScript.

The options you may notice such as “Find Text” under the Redaction tool are specifically designed for redaction workflows and cannot be used to apply highlight annotations. This is why only redaction-related actions…

  10. As a whole, Acrobat is an unable piece of ****. It hangs, crashes or malfunctions on PC and Mac, Intel, Silicon and AMD. This last version simply freezes or features like read aloud fail after first use. I would love Acrobat to become abandonware.

  11. Once I click on Apply on the Flattener Preview the document is flattened. There is no further need for the Preview window to stay visible. It should close automatically. It should not require the extra step of X-ing out of it.

  14. Dragging a program window is difficult due to the limited space on the toolbar that can be "grabbed" with the cursor.
Is it possible to also add to the View->Show/Hide option:
    - a shortcut to help (?),
    - a shortcut to other application offers,
    - a shortcut to log in?

This applies particularly to working without using multiple monitors and/or multiple documents at once and/or with other applications in parallel.

In addition, the Windows System->Multitasking->Drag windows option, which allows for arranging windows without the traditional dragging method, is extremely inefficient (for example, due to automatic adjustment to the maximum height,…

  15. When you have multiple documents open, they appear as tabs on the top of the screen. The tabs are really large. When you have a split screen (so sharing Adobe with a different software at the same time on your screen), only one tab shows at a time because the tabs are so large. It makes it very difficult to move between documents. The old version of Acrobat Pro had the tabs smaller so you could more easily navigate between documents at once.

  16. Supposedly, I have Acrobat Reader installed - I honestly can't even tell. That's what the menu has anyway, "About Acrobat Reader". Everywhere else it's just "Adobe Acrobat". I clicked on Share feedback, it took me to this page - "Acrobat for Windows and Mac". But in that long list on the left, there's a separate link/section "Acrobat Reader for Windows and Mac". Like I said, I can't even tell this much, not with any certainty. And then, supposedly, it's "DC", the version that came after 11 (or was it XI?), but then the About section only says 2025.001.21151. I can't…

  17. When I opened a PDF yesterday, I was shown a hover dialog suggesting I install a specific "app" and I could not dismiss the dialog without clicking the "Add" button. I clicked outside of the dialog. I clicked on it. There was no close button. I had to click Add, and then I cancelled the installation.

  18. In Adobe Reader, don't use the text color from the document in for the text in the bookmark pane UI, as it may make it hard to read depending on the selected theme. Instead, use the same color as the rest of the UI. Or at least provide an option.
