Mouse wheel scrolling no longer works on default right side task area. It had worked, but no longer does.

bookmarks
Don't open bookmarks by default!
When opening a document that has bookmarks embedded in it, the bookmarks panel opens automatically (and slowly) and takes up a third of the screen. It's infuriating, takes several seconds before it can be closed, and is completely pointless. Ditch it, or make it take up a tiny fraction of the screen space. I hate the way Acrobat prioritizes bookmarks over every other aspect of the interface.

Acrobat Output Preview panel behavior change: Simulation Profile changed appearance, now values
If I change the Simulation Preview profile in the Output Preview panel, it used to be that I would see my color simulated as if it printed/displayed in the other environment. Now, however, it's actually changing the color values to keep the same appearance. This is a bad idea. We need a way to turn this off or at least toggle it.
I'm currently seeing this behavior in the 2024 version. I'm not sure with which version this changed.

Windows 11 taskbar uncombined
Strange behavior on Windows 11 taskbar when uncombined. As you can see in the attached video, the Adobe Acrobat icon is duplicated when shifting the windows to another monitor and stays like that until I close the app and open it again.
It becomes very annoying when opening many files such as 5 or more. The taskbar will be full of Acrobat.62 votes -
AI Assistant (beta) button
Please give an option to EASILY get rid of the AI Assistant (beta) feature. Ever since installing the latest update, my Acrobat Pro runs SUPER slowly. I don't actually need AI to read documents. I do need Acrobat to be able to scroll without freezing constantly. Otherwise, what's the point of paying for Acrobat when there are tools that scroll perfectly fine for free?
The new UI is fine otherwise, but I had to disable it (View > Disable new Acrobat) just so I could scroll through documents without Acrobat freezing constantly since you added that AI Assistant feature.

Larger documents not shown correctly number page position
When using documents larger than 1000 pages the counter does not correctly display the current sheet position, e.g. "105 / 1050", it should display "1050 / 1050".

when open more than 1 file, shows all files icon at taskbar but only the first one is useful to click and open, click all other following, nothing could happen, only to show you opened these? magic trick.

Option to hide the floating toolbar
Who at Adobe thought that it would be a good idea to have a floating toolbar that the user cannot dock, cannot flip horizontally, and, critically, cannot choose to hide? It blocks readable document content and is very annoying.
Please create the option to hide the floating toolbar.

AI assistant button
Like every other service, Adobe as well keeps making things increasingly difficult for people who are not neurotypical. Like this new AI button that SCREAMS in the right corner. Because of these kind of features, using these services (of which we pay a great deal for) is getting almost impossible. I really would appreciate the developers to take into account people whose brain simply does not work in a way that ignoring that HUGE colourful button in the corner is possible. Now that it is there, I cannot use Adobe Acrobat anymore without sticking a sticker to my computer screen…

remove bookmarks
I use Adobe to open up to hundreds of pdf files every day and the bookmarks menu keeps popping up every time i have closed the viewer window.
I have gone in to Preferences -> Documents and turned on "Restore last view settings when reopening documents" but it doesent work.

Default Page Thumbnail Size
I am coming from Adobe Acrobat Pro 2017 and started using Adobe Acrobat Pro Continuous Release (latest and greatest?). My only real complaint is that Pro 2017 would keep the last thumbnail size and panel width when opening new documents. Our office uses Adobe to extract documents using the page thumbnail feature, and now we will have hundreds of employees having to readjust the thumbnail size/panel width for every new document. NEED (!!!) a SEARCH BAR in Preferences to find the relevant parameter !!! Are you serious ???
When we have a problem in Acrobat and try to find a solution by modifying a parameter, we go to [Menu] > [Preferences...] and arrive at a panel containing thousands of parameters in dozens of subsections. We have no choice but to browse and read all the parameters one by one, hoping to find something relevant. It may take hours to go through cycles of "Change a parameter/Restart Acrobat/Check/Undo parameter change/Look for another parameter" with the risk of missing the relevant parameter! Get your fingers out of my business. I pay the full price to use your software. So stop shoving pop-ups for new functions and other services in my face. I'm trying to work here. I'm not here for fun, and I sure as **** am not here for YOU. It's supposed to be the other way around. You're supposed to be the industry leader; act like it or I'll find another provider. They'll still push pop-ups in front of me, but they'll charge half the price for it. You should be ashamed.
