  1. Fix the UI so it is not stupid

The UI for Acrobat Pro DC is absolutely horrible and non-intuitive. It actually takes me longer to do everything because I have to click into multiple areas on the screen instead of just the sidebar (e.g., to recognize text, I now have to mouse into the side bar, then move to the upper bar).

That also assumes I can find where the feature/tool now resides. I have to constantly search for it.

The Save As dialog breaks Windows user training and muscle memory because the big blue button is not “Save” or “okay” as expected. It is “Choose a Different…

  2. Please include the options for cloud documents in recents

Please add these options to the same place in the recents folder. I often have to download the pdf to my downloads folder and having to go to my document cloud every time I need to do this is very inconvenient. These are both in the sidebar, and it's confusing that they're there sometimes, and sometimes not for the same document.

  3. stop with all the popups

All the useless popups are major distractions. Acrobat will be replaced for this reason alone.

  4. Return the Acrobat interface to something professional

Return the Acrobat interface to something professional, similar to InDesign, Photoshop, etc, instead of the childish and dysfunctional mess.

  9. Safety Preview rather than ArtBox Preview

Seems like the ArtBox preview is redundant to the TrimBox preview. Is there a way to change ArtBox to Safety guide preview? And have the page margin guide be the Safety? The preview would be helpful for reviewing live areas before the trim.

  12. preferences>general dialogue box too large

When I go to change the preferences > general, the dialogue box is too large, and i cannot access the cancel or okay button. I either have to change my display resolution to make it show in its entirety on the screen, or i have to tab, tab, tab to 'hopefully' get to the button to select it, without seeing it. All other dialogue boxes to the other sections seem to resize perfectly, utilizing a second or third column of text, i.e.Preferences> Page Display. Fortunately, this issue with the General section seems to be the only one.

  13. Put Text Select Tool on Standard Toolbar

Unfortunately Acrobat DC buries an important tool; the ability to select text. I believe it is hidden somewhere, but I have yet to find it. It is very common to want to select some text in a document. Why bury a common task deep within the program? There seems to be the trend these days with software to a have a minimalist interface and bury the most common tools. My toolbar has the least commonly used tools as standard.

  14. Includes the account creation date report

If will be very useful for any organization to have the posibility, via admin console, to know the creation date of an account.

We have Enterprise licensing and we're surprise this info is not available, especially for audit purposes.

Kind regards and looking forward to seeing your feedbcak

  15. Copy Full Path & filename into Buffer

Add a right-click menu option (context menu) on the .pdf's Tab to offer the option to Copy the full path and filename into the Copy/Paste Buffer. This would be identical in behavior to Windows 10 Explorer's Shift-Right-Click on a file, and get the option: Copy as Path.

This is a user convenience I've become well-accustomed to and use it in many ways during the day, my co-workers do also.

Also, to do the same thing from the Document Properties, Description Sheet, make the File and the Location also able to highlight and copy for the same buffer. It saves having…

  16. Bug : Shortcut to switch between tab

I was surprised to see that when I press Ctrl+T , the Open Document panel just pops up instead of switching between tabs.
And since there is no option to change keyboard shortcuts how can I fix this bug.
    Thank you in advance

  18. Bug: Reader DC 20.006.20034 Still Holds Lock On Files After Closing File Tabs

Using Windows 10 Home Version 1909 OS Build 18363.657, when I have a PDF file or multiple PDF files open in Reader DC, and when I close the tab of a file and then try to do something with that file in Windows Explorer, such as rename or delete or move or change it any way, I cannot do so because Windows 10 thinks there is still a lock on the file and throws a pop-up dialog that says to "Close the file and try again." The only way I can get the lock released is by closing Reader DC…

    Hi,

Sorry for the issue that you are facing here.

Do you have Windows Explorer Preview turned on in your explorer window ? If yes, can you please try after switching the windows explorer off and see if that works fine ?
Also Try to close the explorer window and then try and then try to do any operation on that file in a different exporer window
    Let me know further.

    Thanks
    Ayush Jain

  19. Be able to adjust width of Tools Pane by selecting the frame and moving it left or right. (Acrobat Standard DC 20.006.20034)

Most GUI based applications allow the end user to adjust width of a page by grabbing the frame and moving it left or right.

In my specific case, I am editing forms and the Tools pane shows the field names, which is nice, but I have to scroll the window to read the full names. There is a scroll bar on the bottom but this reduces the utility of the feature.

  20. Can no longer compare two different PDF documents on different screens

The new update is a major down grade because all PDFs open in the same display. I have the need to view two different PDF documents on different screens, but Adobe does not support this activity in the currently configured system.
