In Preferences allow a specific setting for Bookmark panel width.
I need to set a fixed width for the Bookmark panel. This capability will allow all text to show and not be hidden.

New interface does not support title bar proxy icons on Mac.
Only way I can efficiently work with another (web based) system is to use the proxy icons to upload files. Please follow platform conventions.

Bug report
It used to be that when users created a custom toolbar for Acrobat, it was stored in their account online. Now it appears that this feature has changed, and the settings for the toolbar are stored instead on the user's computer. That is a foolish idea. My computer just crashed so that I have had to reinstall all of my software - including Acrobat. However to my great dismay I have discovered that my toolbar is no longer accessible. Your company stresses the great advantages of its cloud features, yet it appears that you do not take it advantage of…

User Setting - Checkbox to Opt Out of Pop Ups
Pontificating that there must be a "newbie user" segment who needs extra assistance in using Acrobat, I ask that you please remember you have a multitude of Perennial Power Users who don't need the constant hand holding, introductions, or reminders in pop ups. My efficiency is being damaged by the interruptions. While presenting in meetings, these pops ups are unprofessional and actually drove me to choose to default to opening PDFs in Microsoft Word. Yes. The unintended consequence of YOUR programming choice has driven me to use the big bad competitor's application. Please provide an option to opt out of…

Adobe Opens as 2 Small Squares on Screen Hard to resize
Recently, when I open Adobe, it opens as the left tool menu and an extremely small window, perhaps 1 cm x 2 cm max. First, I can see nothing. Second, it just took me 10 minutes to expand the window because the menu opens over the tool needed to maximize it. This is entirely unacceptable! My time is money, and I pay a licensing fee. Please correct the issue ASAP.

Focus on graphic performance
It seems like adobe is really pushing the AI thing..... I don't care. I want Adobe Pro to render graphics and text quickly and compactly.. I use it to mark stuff up. I want it to be fast and stable, small file sizes.... Focus on what people by adobe for... not what you think is the current best buzzword.
Right now it's **** near worthless to me. Probably switching to blue beam.

Better view of search results
We would like the search function, when working with multiple files, to easily guide the user to which file has the most hits, and which pages within each file have the most hits.

Showing three pages of A4
We have 5000 users with large monitors. We want to view 3 pages of A4 side by side. Acrobat only lets us see 2 pages.

User Interface
Why do software developers insist on changing, moving, hiding, reconfiguring, the user interface for their software???? THIS ADDS ZERO IMPROVEMENT! Different isn't better; BETTER is better. Why do you think I would be so impressed by this new toolbar that I can move anywhere over the document? You know where I want to move it? I want to move it to the TOOLBAR area. Guess where I cannot move this new floating toolbar - THE TOOLBAR AREA. Just stupid.

foreground dialogue dilemma - bug or feature?
When an application-specific Acrobat dialogue pops up, it isn't forced to the front and disables the application interaction until dealt with. This is somewhat normal but doesn't work in practice.
Took me a while to figure out, but I'll skip the who and why and let others decide how to deal with this disability. Feel free to suggest nut-behind-the-wheel solutions.
I launch Acrobat reader, either doc or app, and use the keyboard to immediately open the search tool to find a word. That word is found, but the word is inside a link so it generates a dialogue asking if…

IT Admin Ability to Disable Adobe Print Preview / Dialog Menu
There is an issue with Adobe's printer dialog menu / print preview that, when you print to a copier that requires a copy code in order to print, the job doesn't come out because the Adobe dialog menu isn't sending the copy code.
This is a macOS issue only as far as I know.
This problem is going back to 2017 and has never been addressed. Please see this forum thread about it: https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/pdf-print-jobs-aren-t-processed-with-user-codes-from-adobe-dc-or-acrobat-pro/td-p/9010649
If you're not going to fix the product so that copy codes are sent through your printer dialog menu / print preview, at least give IT…

Make menus smaller
I am not a fan of the new interface. This does not improve anything for users. It just changes the side a menu is on and forces users to change they way they interact with a document and how they work in Acrobat every workday.
That said, if this is to remain this way... Make the menus smaller or allow the user to adjust them. There is a lot of white/empty space between the tools listed and the actual document.
I typically use Adobe while it is on half of my screen (I have a 22" monitor) so I can…

bookmarks
Don't open bookmarks by default!
When opening a document that has bookmarks embedded in it, the bookmarks panel opens automatically (and slowly) and takes up a third of the screen. It's infuriating, takes several seconds before it can be closed, and is completely pointless. Ditch it, or make it take up a tiny fraction of the screen space. I hate the way Acrobat prioritizes bookmarks over every other aspect of the interface.

Task Bar and feature request
It would be nice if the tool bar in new adobe could be made horizontal or docked to the window above such that it does not cover the document when in a splitscreen view. It may be able to be done but I have not had success in the short time I have tried. Also, being able to have a pen to write/draw on a pdf would be nice, I feel I remember being able to do this in the past but have not been able to in a while.

f4 shortcut default behavior should revert to access pages panel in new acrobat
Ai feature removal requests aside, the f4 key is muscle memory for me to get to the Pages sidebar. Having to use the extra click to get out of the AI assistant panel and to the Pages panel that I want, is frustrating. And cumulatively, a time-suck. Feels like user-hostile UI practices.
As a side note, like many, I do not use the AI features in Acrobat. Please serve customers and not stockholders.

Malicious behavior of the Search box
From initial versions of Adobe Reader, its search box behaves (in Windows) a different way than any other dialog box.
When I try to select part of the searched text to change it, it lets me select it, and only when I release the mouse button, it selects everything.
It is not possible to accustom it, because the whole Windows environment behaves different way.
So it makes me angry every day for decades!
I suppose there is not any settings or workaround for this problem, so this behavior should be changed.
BTW, I do not understand why this was made…1 vote
