Maximum compression
A client is working on a 100 MB file size for a tender document. Due to the sensitivity of the data, they prefer to use something other than the cloud features of sharing PDF files. We are looking for the maximum compression available with the current PDF. However, it must compress our required 10 MB result after compression. We need a solution to compress the PDF files to the desired size so that we can look forward to PDF Pro and request special compression features.

PAGE DISPLAY DOES NOT STAY WHERE I WANT IT
I want every page opened to be displayed at full Width of the screeen on my horizontal monitor. Every single document I open I have to zoom it to Full Width of my monitor to read it. Your Preferences Setting DO NOT WORK! This is very time consuming when I do this for 12 hours a day with hundreds of documents. This is very annoying and we are going backwards. What is AI if not for this, yet AI is useless to eliminate repetitititive setting!

Selecting on the PDFs
As you can see in the video when trying to select text in a page of my pdf, the previous page's text appears.

cropping spreads
Long overdue: a quick click on a "page" that is actually a spread of two pages (two 8.5"x11" pages stuck together) where this click would crop the page in half, saving both sides as 8.5x11 pages in the correct order.

Minimize side bars on open
Side Bars (All Tools & Bookmarks) compress the image when opening.
These need to be minimized on open as there's already icons to expand them.
At minimum there needs to be a user setting to allow individuals to set them to minimized upon open. Not all file openings occur as full screen, so those side bars 'squash' the image.1 vote -
Update 24.002.20759 Crashing Issues
Since installing this update approximately May 16, 2024, constant crashing and hanging up. Anytime I try to access bookmarks, document properties, accessibility tags Acrobat freezes up and eventually crashes. Attempting to check navigation links to web cause constant freezing, taking up to a minute to actually connect to the website.

'Re-open recent files' feature no longer works. Sometimes the files I was using don't even appear on the list.

Buttons for Page Navigation - Enable Pin to Taskbar
Prior editions of Adobe Acrobat DC Reader had a forward/back and other navigation tools able to be pinned to the toolbar. With the most recent version 2024.002.20687, these tools do not exist as buttons that can be pinned to a task bar for quick and easy use. Organize Pages / BUG.
Sometimes doesn' work - no apparent reason. Can't re-order the pages. Fix - Close the file, close the program and restart normally fixes the issue, but not always, sometimes have to do it again. Example video of not working posted.

Bates numbering/numbering pages malfunctioning
I was having a problem renumbering pages so i started all over combining my files (that do not have page numbers or they don't matter in this operation). The very next step i tried to remove them and i get a message that there are no headers or footers to remove. my numbers are plain a day in red in a footer. i'm not using the Bates system, I'm simply numbering pages in a pdf created by combining files. Line Weight
I can not find a tool for changing the line weight when reading on the new version. Some blueprints we receive have thick line weights on the text and are hard to read even when zoomed in. On the previous version the line weight could be changed making the text more readable.

Different bugs to fix
Acrobat crash when I open a normalized PDF (caused by the page thumbnails panel automatically opened for normalized PDF, possible for you to fix this issue? This problem wastes an awful lot of our time.
In the same style: Opening a Pitstop report when another PDF a normalized PDF is already opened, result almost time to a crash.
Guides from rulers are not visible when you add them; you can't see them when you move them, and the same applies to Pitstop's Design and Layout guides.

How about a menu that allows view sizing, like "Fit width", "Fit height", or 100%". The magnifying glasses are klutzy.
