  1. My combine PDF feature has stopped working. When I try to add files to combine, nothing happens. I am using an Apple laptop. Need it resolved. Any suggestions?

  2. When using the Combine Files into a PDF option, sometimes that will work (usually the first one or two times) and then it will fail and no files will show up in the window to be combined even after they are selected. This occurs whether the command is started from within Acrobat or if the option is right-click selected from a folder with files in it on the desktop. Restarting Acrobat solves the problem until it occurs again.

  3. Please add multiple buttons/slots at the top where temporarily current view can be stored and after scrolling to the previous pages one should easily move back where he was reading. While reading, to recall something from previous chapters of a book or to see next mentioned chapters, is a really tedious job to do when you want to go back where you left reading.

  4. I would like to be able to either resize all pages in an Adobe & have the program scale down the oversized documents or find an alternative way to save PDFs through Adobe with the printer option. I just moved from a Windows computer to a Mac and I used to be able to print as a PDF and my documents would be scaled down to 8.5x11 but apparently, Mac does not allow this option and Adobe doesn't allow you to resize all pages nor does it scale them when you do try to shrink the page dimensions

  7. My biggest complaint about the latest update to Adobe is the percentage option for re-sizing documents within an open window has now been removed. I review and edit PDFs from countless customers all day long. Now the only way to change the size of the document within the window is to expand or decrease the size of the window itself, which can still be extremely limiting. Having the ability to change the size of any given document for review and edit is essential to my job. Why was the document percentage option removed from the toolbar and how can I…

  8. When I open a PDF, and select View/page display/enable scrolling - it doesn't work. I have discovered (trial and error) that if I change the window size (click on bottom corner and drag/resize diagonally a little, larger or smaller) that that seems to correct the enable scrolling issue. It is frustraitng to have to do that with each PDF I open, since I review multiple-paged PDFs a good bit of the day. Please fix it. Thanks. (iMac user)

  9. You can no longer slide the thumbnail/ bookmarks in and out with the mouse cursor. It is now hit or miss how wide you need it to be; I'm too busy to be doing that. Why would you take away the sliding feature?

  11. This is not so much an idea as it is a complaint that I'm not able to do what I use to with the old version.
I would like to be able to copy X,Y coordinates from a geospatial enabled PDF to clipboard with a mouse right click. When I right click, it doesn't give me this option. Please add it back.

  13. [Bug] Shades and Patterns not rendered in OS correctly

See the attached PDF, I am able to see the shades in Page 3 & 4, and Pattern on Page 2 in Acrobat reader and in Chrome via Acrobat plugin.

Whereas, I am unable to view the same in Acrobat DC beta version since a year. I have tried un-installing that acrobat multiple times from ProgramFiles and PFx86 but of no use.

If someone from Acrobat team knows how to fix such issues... can contact me on jabber 33929.

Most probably I need to remove some residual files from other locations…

  15. In previous versions, when combining files in Adobe Acrobat, it was easy to tell immediately whether the portfolio option was ticked.

Now, it is hidden under the 'Options' gear icon. Acrobat remembers the last setting so it is impossible to say what it might be at any given time without clicking the gear icon to check.

This slows down workflow and is needless when there is plenty of room on the toolbar to show this information and is a step backwards from previous versions where this option was immediately visible.

    Please re-instate the old behaviour.

  17. The real case - the customer brought me 100 pdf files named "File 1", "File 1 Back", "File 2", "File 2 Back" and so on which I combined in new single pdf file in order to print "File 1" as one, "File 1 back" as other side of page and so on.
In Page Thumbnails sidebar there is no way to see any information but page number and small content. As the content was meaningless for me to set right order of pages then the only possible way to do that was by file names. Yes there is an option…

  18. In older versions of Acrobat, when you right click a page in page pane, it would have move which allowed you to type a number and page will move to take that position. This is important when you have more than 20 pages on a full screen. To move page 78 to page 4, just right click page 78, select move and type page number 4, Page 78 moves to page number 4. Dragging over left side up or down at times become sticky and have to do it in two or three parts.
