Please add the ability to select an application-level default size. Having to select "Actual size" is not good.
I imagine if the pdf file was created from another application, and was set to "Fit" this print setting carried over to Adobe. If so, there needs to be a way to reset default print setting from print dialog box to change to "Actual." I don't know if if the original file was set to that or not as I don't have it but please look into this. It's very important issue.

Eraser needed
Acrobat needs an eraser tool, much like the one provided in Photoshop or Photoshop Elements. I work with old pdf images of recorded documents dating clear back to the 1800's; these documents have a lot of photographic "static", shadows images left by the camera which took the image photo, and these items need to be erased to give the document better readability. It is hard to describe without watching the process. If you want a demonstration, contact me and you can log into my computer and watch my process.

Adjustable Graphic scale set for Measure tool.
As an architect or an engineer, we are always managing plans with different scales that have (usually) a graphic scale for reference. The measure tool would be EXTREMELY useful if includes an option to set the scale by selecting two points on an eventual graphic scale included within an existing pdf... this will help to quickly have the pdf in scale and ready to be measured.
Please, include this feature.

Add Adobe Documents as a folder within Creative Cloud Sync to Local Computer
The purpose of this is to allow you to search through PDF files that have been scanned via Adobe Scan on your laptop computer by means of Mac OS spotlight or other searching programs on your local computer. Currently it is cumbersome to search through multiple PDFs that have been added to your Adobe Documents Cloud Folder. You can only search using Adobe DC (because they are only in the cloud unless you copy each one to a local folder individually). It would also make it significantly easier to create parent folders for Topics of documents within the cloud folder…

Shortcut for Create PDF from Scan
Create shortcut on Home page to "Create PDF from Scan". A lot of users primarily use Acrobat to create pdfs from paper. It shouldn't take 4 mouse clicks to get this done. Also, there is now no way to use keyboard shortcuts to effect a scan. Alt-F-R-S is as far as one can go because the new blue Scan button does not have a keyboard shortcut.

Administrative reporting on Acrobat Cloud
We need a way to manage user assignments, audit administrative actions, and report on when particular users are assigned Adobe licenses. There currently is no report that can be run to show who assigned a license, or when a license was assigned, outside of reviewing individual users.

Issues with FIll in and Sign Feature in Acrobat Pro
I am having an issue with the "Fill in and Sign" feature. When I open up a PDF that doesn't have fillable fields but I'm just trying to add text to the page, as soon as I hit the letter "A" key, I get an error message that says, "Currently there are no form fields in this PDF. DO you want Adobe Acrobat to detect form fields for you?" This only happens when I have the Single Key Shortcut Accelerators enabled in preferences. Transparency grid / solid background toggle.
There should be an easy to find, one click toggle type button that changes the background from white to the transparency grid.
I often work with PDFs with some amount of transparency for one reason or another, and when showing people that are not familiar with the transparency grid it gets confusing, so if I could quickly toggle the background to white that would help out a lot. Actually, being able to toggle bleed lines and such on and off would be a big help too.10 votes -
Provide options for naming bookmarks when creating PDF from Web Page
Please provide options for bookmark naming conventions. When creating HTML reports, I intentionally use relative links to link to attachments or appendices. However, when I create a PDF from the HTML home page, the bookmarks contain the full link exposing my User Profile name and other sensitive information. I would like the bookmark to be named for the relative link or the filename only (or an option for the document title). Bug: Have one standard icon for PDF bookmarks
Have 1 icon for bookmarks wether it is created by adding a new bookmark or combining pdf files.
If you need to add a new bookmark to a file you cannot get it to display the same icon as those created using combine pdf's. Unless they offer different functions there is nothing but confusion caused by having 2 different icons.18 votes -

It is so slow it is almost unusable.
Adobe Acorbat Pro DC is so slow it is almost unusable. I am ready to find an other .pdf creator. I have tried every fix found in the forums and nothing has substantially helped.

Tab Management
I'm constantly in and out of Acrobat.
I would love to be able to right click and either close all tabs or close all tabs to the right without closing Acrobat. I jump from job to job and each has its own handful of PDFs to view. When I'm done with a job, I have to either manually close each tab or close the whole window and select close all tabs. Then immediately after, I have to open more and wait for Acrobat to start up again.6 votes -
Group/Lock text and corresponding form field together so they can be moved together
I create many forms and every time I create a text field and corresponding form field (whether text box, check box or radio button) I have to move them around separately. the text fields end up grouping together with other unrelated text fields and adjusts line spacing randomly which makes it double-triple work to move around and adjust when laying out the form. Text fields should be left individual with option to merge with other text fields if desired. Acrobat DC (Pro and Strandard) crashes because of memory usage
When using large files, like the attached one, Acrobat crashes when it reaches a memory usage of more than aprox. 3.500 MB in Windows Task Manager.
I could reproduce the issue, just by opening the page miniatures and a little scolling. It happens on different computers with 8 or 16GB RAM installed and with different Acrobat versions (DC Standard, DC Pro, XI Standard)

Auto-rotate scanned documents to correct the page orientation
While opening a pdf that was scanned in the wrong direction, an algorithm would detect which side was up and automatically rotate the document so you wouldn’t have to click rotate manually. This would be a big time saver.

Activate <ESC> escape button to close Search dialog, like many other Windows programs.
Having to manually mouse click the 'OK' button on the 'Acrobat has finished searching the document' dialog is cumbersome. Ditto for other Acrobat dialogs. Please activate the <ESC> key here to close the dialogs. It makes navigation much faster.

It would be great if Acrobat was multi=threaded. I routinely have to OCR 4000 page documents which almost always fail and take hours
Acrobat needs to be multithreaded. I have a top of the line machine with 32g of ram and an I7-6700k processor an m2 SSD, yet am unable to successfully run OCR on a 4000 page document without splitting it up into 250-500page chunks, which is cumbersome. Even then, acrobat will only use 12% of my resources.
