    Acrobat has inbuilt mechanism for Auto-save to recover files in case of a crash.
    Requesting you to please let us know if you have received the prompt to recover your file on relaunch.

    The default time settings of Auto save are present & modifiable at-
    Preferences-Documents Section→
    Save settings.

  3. Connectivity problem. I was unable to send file to my client. I received repeated error messages saying that I was not connected to the internet. I was not having any internet issues. I was actively online as I was preparing to send. I ended up just using my email program.

  8. There is an option to change the border color under Preferences, Forms change Required fields border highlight color. When another users fills out the form the border outline color reverts to red again. I would like the outline color for the required field that I selected to travel with the PDF document.

    You will need to implement keystroke script for this.

    You can use the Properties dialog > format > Custom options

  9. Just updated to the new version (19.008.20071) as of yesterday and noticed when printing a larger document (A4) and have it "Shrink Oversized Pages" to print onto a letter size paper, it will print as if correctly but cuts off the top "inch" of the actual printed text as if that was the end of the page, in which it can still print in that section, but the scaling down process is somehow bugged out.

    Thank you for reporting this issue. Please provide the following details for us to reproduce the issue at our end:
    1. Printer driver and model details
    2. Is this issue happening with a single document or all PDFs?
    3. Sample PDF with which you are experiencing this issue.

  10. When using the arrows to scroll page by page through a file, the navigation arrows jump back and forth across the top of the page if the length of the page title differs, making it impossible to quickly click through the document without chasing the arrows around. This is a clear oversight and design flaw.

  12. It seems that Acrobat DC wants to be in charge of my computer when assembling multiple PDF files into one PDF. After each file added, Acobat DC forces itself to have the focus, and brings itself to the front, no matter what other application I'm in. My computer has 24 cores, and 64 GIG of ram, yet Acrobat DC won't multi-task and let any other app have focus whiles it's assembling PDF files.

  13. In my office we have user codes we use when printing. The code is saved into the print driver of each user. When printing from Adobe we are forced to click "properties" before every print, even if we don't need to make any setting changes. If you do not click properties, the user code embedded into the driver is not sent with the print job and it fails with an authentication error at the printer.     Thank you for reporting this bug. Could you clarify what difference does clicking on “Properties” button makes?

    Also please mention the printer driver and printer model your are using.

  14. Simply it does not save when we save on Ai and try to open just a blank page comes out. To print it just has no data. Printed it still a blank page printed? Solutions for this problem? Issue was happening for a long time. Thanks.

  16. Adobe Acrobat Pro on windows7 not responding , it only can open the PDF file around 5 sec than it will show not responding

  17. When I edit a document, I do not necessarily want to edit existing text. I do not want Acrobat to do an OCR process on the document and create uncountable text boxes (that can easily be messed up), when all I wanted to do was either crop the image or add a text box. Please allow the OCR conversion to be toggled off.
    Also when scanning, if you go into an option like increase resolution, all of the changes (like selection of document size) made on the previous screen are lost and have to be entered again Too time consuming!

  19. I have a CC account with my university.

    I have a preferred name which is the only name displayed on my Adobe account (online and in all CC Applications like PS, AI, etc.).

    But on Adobe DC, my former name is displayed somehow.
    Despite the name not appearing on any of my actual Adobe account information.

    Hello,

    When you say Adobe DC, I believe you mean Acrobat Pro DC?

    Try the following steps and let us know if that helps:
    1. Launch Acrobat.
    2. Click on your name at the top right corner. And click on Sign-out.
    3. Close Acrobat and re-launch, it should ask for re-login. Enter your Adobe-ID and check.

    Let us know if that helps.

  20. Custom stamp isn't populating the Stamp icon in Acrobat DC Pro for some Macs even when it is in the Stamp Folder. The custom stamp works on all Windows OS and all Mac OS but a few Mac users are having that issue.

    Hello,

    Most likely this seems to be an issue with the permissions with a user profile on the system, please try the following steps and check if that helps.
    1. Create a new user profile on the affected Mac machine, and test the scenario again.
    2. Check the permission on Adobe folder and Sub-folders, match with non-affected Mac machines:

    Location of Adobe folder:

    It’s in your user (Home) > Library folder. In recent versions of Mac OSX, this is hidden by default.

    In the Finder, hold down the Option key first while choosing Go > Library so you can see it.

    Then find it in:
    Library > Application Support > “Adobe” > Acrobat > DC > Stamps
