1. Hide the new black box when a comment is selected

   The new black box (when a comment is selected) gets in the way and obscures the page contents. Add the option in Preferences to turn it off or hide it.

3. Set Default Link Actions (zoom especially)

   I make ADA Accessible documents. Inherit Zoom is a necessary thing.

   When I need to combine multiple pdf files into one document I often create a narrative that includes links to other pages of that document. I back up those links with bookmarks.

   While it's quite easy to change all of the bookmark actions at once to Inherit Zoom, it's not so easy to change the links.

   Currently each link action must be edited individually. And each Zoom is set to custom. There is considerable time taken to adjust each one, especially when I have 50 to 200 links in a document.

   Here are the actions required:

   1. Click Edit PDF
   2. Click Link then click Add or Edit Document Link
   3. Make a rectangle over the words or image or comment you want the link to work over
   4. Select the link action and click next
   5. Go to the page you want the link to go to and Set the link
   6. Right click on the link rectangle
   7. Scroll down and select properties
   8. Click the Action Tab then click Edit
   9. Select Inherit Zoom from the Zoom drop down options
   10. Click OK in the d-box, then click on in the properties d-box
   11. Close the Edit PDF tool
   12. Test Link

   That's a LOT of steps for one link
   And if you have a Return to Narrative link on that page, there's another 12 steps.

   Best option is to set this feature in the Document Properties.
   Change the Initial View tab to include an option like:
   Make all Links (and bookmarks maybe) Zoom to (then list options, INCLUDING Inherit Zoom). Then create this rule. All links (bookmarks too?) use this default unless specifically changed by a Link Action.

4. Add option to use file name instead of TITLE in the Adobe Acrobat Reader

   It is difficult to figure out which file is which when viewing multiple files with the same TITLE. The person using the reader is powerless to change the title.

   PLEASE provide a global preference / setting in the Reader,preferences to have the Reader use the file name all the time.

   A new document preference is added to let you use the filename as the document title. By default, the preference is disabled. To enable the preference, go to Acrobat preferences, and click Documents in the left pane. Under Open Settings, select Always Use Filename As Document Title.

6. Differentiate "Zoom to Page" and "Show Page Only" icons

   The icons for "Zoom to Page Level" and "Show only one page at a time" are nearly identical. What's worse, when I put both of them on my toolbar, Acrobat places them side-by-side, intentionally causing confusion..

   These commands do different things and need to be better differentiated in icon form.

7. Extracting Pages

   Extracting a page without a numerical "page label" is a waste of time because you have to hit 'Organize' then hit the 'More' button and select 'Page labels' then 'select all' then choose your 'style', delete the prefix to be able to give it a page number in order for the action to work. God forbid you lose you place & cant recall the sheet or sheets you need.
   Please allow us to extract regardless of page labels. I've attached my screen shot of the error you get when trying to extract without a numerical page label.

   If I'm doing this wrong please correct me.

8. Add an option to set the default bookmark properties when combining PDF files.

   When combining multiple PDF files into a single document with bookmarks, I want to be able to set the default bookmark properties. For example, I may want all bookmarks to include the ACTION: Go to a page view, and ZOOM LEVEL: Fit Page. Currently, I have to change the properties of each bookmark separately.

Color Swatch is introduced to change Annot color easily and can be used for Highlight , Underline , Strikethrough and Caret Type of Annotations. Also find attachment for the glimpse of feature.

13. Redaction options are missing in 19.8.20071

    Build 19.8.20071 has completely removed the redaction pop-up menu to "repeat mark across pages", "apply redactions", and to choose from the user-defined code set. The only way to apply redaction codes is to manually go into the properties menu on each and every redaction to apply the redaction code.

14. Action does not open from quick tools shortcut

    Action does not open from quick tools shortcut until the "Action Wizard" tool is opened. Previous versions openened the pinned action in the side panel without the need to then also open the "Action Wizard" tool. It makes a mockery of having shortcut of the action in the first place!

16. Bug report - won't print images properly after update.

    After updating Acrobat DC won't print images properly, doesn't matter which printer I try, it doesn't work. It will print property from any program accept Acrobat DC.

18. Acrobat deleted form fields from reading order when moved even one pixel

    I am using the latest version of Mac Acrobat DC 2018.011.20038

    1- Make a form field.
    2- Select it so you can make a <form> with the OBJR
    3- Drag it into its proper spot in the reading order.
    4- Then move it even one pixel, it will delete itself. This happens on all fields of any type. It also happens if you just resize any field.

    Since this Adobe Forum usually asks questions until people give up on the thread I even made a video of the whole thing:

    By the way, I lost 17 hours of work. When I was done with my form. I just use the alignment tools to make my fields line up, and it deleted every field the Acrobat adjusted itself.
