  1. Hello, I am sure that you see that there are multiple request for " find" and "replace all". I think that this is ridiculous that I have to export the PDF INTO a text file, when you do this it does not generally generate back into the same format, style before editing. I work for an agency and we create over 200k pages in a PDF FORMAT, I need to be able to edit and replace numbers and text without having to convert.
Saves times. creating in word and text and converting to PDF is not working.

  2. F2 used to rename bookmarks. It now opens a help menu - to rename bookmarks you now have to use CTRL+F2 which is barely faster than just using the mouse. This has destroyed my usual workflow, no one asked for it. Change it back.

  3. Changing the default behavior of the "F2" is the possibly the most annoying feature Adobe has ever released. I'm not being hyperbolic, there was no reason to remap F2 to the help center when F1 already worked in that way.

Additionally adding second key to the keyboard command to rename reduces the functionality of this program. When I'm editing a PDF, I am constantly editing text making me click "Ctrl+F2" is more effort and goes against common convention.

  4. Updated today as prompted by Adobe. My redaction tool no longer works. When I go to apply redactions, I just get a white box with a spinning blue circle in it. Tried restarting, extremely frustrating as redactions and batestamping are the only reason I'm paying for an adobe subscription. Redactions worked beautifully on the version I updated from.

  5. We use Adobe-Pro to review construction plans. there are time when we need to draw a round circle to see what falls in or outside of its perimeter. if we could click the courser at a point on the drawing and then drag the radios out with the proper measurement scale of the drawing

  6. Honestly, I am not sure why I was sent to this area, all I wanted was to get help in drawing a line through a word or text on a PDF document but somehow no one from the technical team was able to help. I thought this would have been a basic feature of Adobe Acrobat, but I guess I was wrong.

  7. Using Acrobat Pro DC is the biggest headache in the world. You have made this 1,000 times more difficult than Adobe Acrobat Pro X. Adobe Acrobat's team seems incapable to thinking intuitively. I want to create a default font, point size and color setting for all pdf documents I edit in Adobe Acrobat DC, but one must do this for each document based on the website help. if someone replies with an apparent 1, 2, 3 step, that is NOT ADEQUATE. The issue: Adobe Acrobat Pro DC's Team does NOT CREATE AN INTUITIVE ONE STEP INTERFACE. One should NEVER TO…

  8. We create acronym-heavy PDFs at my company. We often create hyperlinks from the acronyms to the acronym list, but a better solution would be a tooltip-style effect where you could hover your cursor over the acronym and have the definition appear. This is done in HTML with the abbr tag and is quite elegant.
I've tried to accomplish this with a transparent button over the acronym and using a tooltip, but this is incredibly laborious and makes the file size explode.
    Thanks!

  10. The editing features of Acrobat Pro DC is a main task of acquiring process of books for digitalization of image with borders (one raster images in every pages, by scanning processing). An AI features for automatically allignment (orizzontal or vertical), and the refine possibility to correct automatic allignment with edge-grips of images (feature present actually) but without the minimum of 2 degree and with capability of free rotation with steps of 0.5 degree (or 0.25 for values from 0 to 5 i.e.) showed in tooltips (as actually) can power significatively the editing features of Acrobat DC (Standard or Pro)
    that…

  15. Please add a Percent option in Ruler just like in Photoshop, so that it helps to align Text Boxes and Guides very accurately.

Also, please add alignment buttons for Text Boxes so that we can not only arrange the text inside the text boxes but also the entire text boxes with text in it.

  16. Outlook Calendar & Google Calendar Integration Plug-In. This functionality would make Adobe's - Acrobat Pro DC, truly professional... When completing PDF Forms with "date fields", it would be most helpful to provide a plug-in to synch the date fields to our calendar (Outlook or Google Calendar). Come on...you guys can do it! This functionality would be very helpful.

  17. Could you please make a spellcheck a feature!

We review PDF's frequently and I would love the ability to easily highlight spelling errors and send the file back to the user.

    Hi,
I have forwarded the request to the higher management. Currently we don’t have any plan to implement it but we have kept it in our radar and will implement it in future release.
Meanwhile to see spelling errors, open Edit PDF and click on inside each bounding box one by one to see if there is any error in each paragraph.

Please confirm if this resolves your issue.

    Thanks
    Rachit

  19. Working for a UK University, we produce pdf.publications for the youth demographic, from prospectuses to course guides. It appears that Adobe is unable to autolink a URL in a pdf. that doesn't contain https:// or www. This is extremely old fashioned and not good practice from a design point of view. In 2020, it is widely accepted that these prefixes are not used, so I would like to requested that the autolink can be programmed in a way which reads these as URLs in a pdf. for example: swansea.ac.uk/research

I imagine this is not a unique issue, anybody creating…

  20. At present, when you mark an area for redaction by drawing a box, you cannot adjust the size of the box afterwards. This needs to be changed to make this possible. I’ve used other redaction software where this is possible. This change is vital because in very large PDF pages, it is not always possible to precisely mark an area for redaction on your first attempt, so you end up having to delete the redaction you’ve just drawn and try again.
