  2. I want to be able to simply delete open my pdfs and if I dont like the first page, delete it while I am looking at it and it simply pulls the second page to the top of the list. Is this not possible?? I know I can go to Organize Pages and delete from there, BUT I cant see the pdf. It shrinks them all down so I cant tell which one I want/need to delete!!

  3. Our organization uses SharePoint Online provided through Office 365 hosting. SharePoint is the primary location to store files.

It's possible to use Acrobat to open documents from SharePoint, edit them and save those changes back to the SharePoint server.

If we open a new PDF with Acrobat, then attempt to save over an existing file on our SharePoint server, we encounter the following error:

Adobe Acrobat could not access the network. Please verify your computer's network connection and try again.

There are workarounds to this problem, but it would be useful to our users if Acrobat would simply save the…

  4. On Windows 10 Enterprise, Version 1803, Build 17134.523
    Acrobat Pro DC, Version 2019.010.20069

Normally, to shrink files before sending them out, I go to File -> Print -> Properties -> Default Settings -> and select "Smallest File Size." This works fine until I have an Uber receipt in my list of files. During the process of Acrobat shrinking the file, I get the error message that is attached below. I've also attached the specific type of Uber receipt that results in the error. I haven't had this issue with any other type of file.

  5. After working with Kalpana for over an hour it was found the Acrobat Pro DC issue was coming from OS Mojave. I am unable to use the link tool in the manner it is described. In the past when adding links you could draw your rectangle box as large or as mall as you needed, now in Mojave it goes in and out and it staggers or goes away when trying to make a smaller box. I use this option daily and the issue just started when i installed Mojave.

  6. Gross lack of basic text formating. Why is this? If the product allows Font selection/ sizing, and paragraph justification then indentation is a must.

Numbering: Unable to start with a specifc letter or number....why not?

Font type: I have to scroll down a list, why can't I type the first letters and it comes to me?

  7. I have a number of Watermark and Header/Footer "Saved Settings" on one Mac (desktop) that I would like to export from it and import into another Mac (laptop). These include page number specs for different page sizes. It would be a great time saver if, once those were saved in one computer, they could be exported into another without entering in the specs from scratch.

  8. Can we please have the ability to draw real shapes (rectangles, circles, etc) in the Edit PDF view? I know that we can draw these shapes in the Comment view but it's not good enough - doing it that way makes it impossible to adjust certain aspects of the shapes (like, "Send to Back" or "Bring to Front" - those options do not exist in the Comments view, but when you go to the Edit PDF view, shapes that were drawn in the Comments view are untouchable. They are always on Top and obscure anything else that is in the PDF…

  9. Hi. Its very strange that Adobe is not developing an Android platform for Adobe DC pro to make it possible for us, your customers, to edit, change and create PDFs on our android tabletts, not just on usual PC and Mac desktop as it is now. It´s 2019. actually and more and more people are travelling with their Pads or Tabletts without their PCs or Mac´s . The future is in Android and OS and not in Windows and Mac´s that are on the way to go to history. Can you give us a hope at least,

  10. PLEASE fix so text boxes stop combining. I KNOW Acrobat is not an "editiing" app but I have to make contact sheets from multiple products and sources from Adobe Bridge. Then the client needs a couple changes, or we need to update an area on the contact sheet ONLY. Constantly have to fight to redo text. Not editable in other apps - Illustrator can only open one page at a time. Can't edit PDF in Indesign. Can't edit in Word. These are NATIVE pdf's from Bridge. Thank you.

Need Info  ·  Bilal Ansari responded

Select the text box, right click and select Arrange → Bring to Front.
Let us know if that works.

  12. When I edit a document, I do not necessarily want to edit existing text. I do not want Acrobat to do an OCR process on the document and create uncountable text boxes (that can easily be messed up), when all I wanted to do was either crop the image or add a text box. Please allow the OCR conversion to be toggled off.
Also when scanning, if you go into an option like increase resolution, all of the changes (like selection of document size) made on the previous screen are lost and have to be entered again Too time consuming!

  13. This has been reported on another thread and marked as solved - it isn't. I have just purchased a copy of Acrobat Pro and am unable to edit .pdf's, which is precisiely why I bought it. The subscription simply isn't worth the money without this capability.

I have noticed some suggested solutions but these are highly technical and not something I would have access to do at work.

Could a solution be suggested - fast - as it seems as though this is quite a common error?

  14. Yes, you have a tool to underline, but not for undoing underlining. I have spent hours attempting to undo underlining, along with undoing bold. As secretary of a Property Owners Association, I NEED these.

  16. Return Menu Tools to the Side where they belong. They are next to useless now. Put actual menu items under the menu drop-downs instead of extra steps to open what should be a drop-down. Sorry - I hate the new look. Hate it. I should not have to navigate away from a page I'm working on in order to get to tools. I should not have to spend half an hour to discover you apparently no longer have this option. Security tools, if still in existence, should be obvious.

  17. I need to make transparent buttons with HTML links in most of my documents. Someone forgot to program this in the DC version.
Create a square button and set the line and fill to transparent. Please fix! It is causing a host of issues for us.

  18. Please activate forward-button (without any additional key) instead of help button to be continued with the return-key – so you can easy save the settings of the new link.
At the moment the return-key opens the help file.

  20. I often receive PDFs but after opening them, decide not to keep them and delete them. Nevertheless, the file name still appears on the Recent File List when I say I want to open a file for editing. This makes it harder to find still existing files that I want to edit. At the minimum, be able to click on a file name on the Recent File List to highlight it and then delete that name (via Delete key or pulldown option). Even better would be to also add a option that I can click on that highlights files on…
