  1. Creating a numbered document and its longer then one page it would be nice to start the second page with any number. I have 1 thru 8 and wanted to start with 9 on the second page

  2. Steps to reproduce issue: Open word, click "create and share Adobe PDF" wait for 5 min. receive error message. Repeat. It is pretty regular event. Lately its 90% of the time I try. When the product works it produces a beautiful PDF, and when it does not it produces nothing. Considering that my work requires this regularly, it is rather frustrating. To have something I pay $20 a month for, not work.

  3. For Combine Files, give users the option to have the page number printed or not, with the sub-option of the page number in running order throughout the combined pages (File A & B combined, page 1 to 29), or for based on respective files (File A page 1 to 9, File B page 1 to 20).

  4. Add custom layer and page titles, and display them at the upper left corner of the page being viewed. Perhaps also add and display a layer/page description.

  5. I have a company brochure in PDF that I would like to email clients. Instead of opening as a standard PDF in vertical view, I would like it to open like a brochure where you can flip the pages like an ebook. This is similar to the 3rd party software made by ISSUU.

  7. When I convert a Word document into a PDF and there is a tilde in a URL, the URL changes the tilde to %7E in my URLs. I then have to go through all the URLs in the PDF and manually edit them to contain the tilde. I use the Acrobat toolbar in Word to create my PDFs on a Windows system. This issue has been going on for a long time.

  9. Please see case #ADB-29063356-Y6D4. When converting PowerPoint files that use the custom font "GT America" to PDF using the "Save As Adobe PDF" plugin option, the font is intermittently not retained. After working with support for a few weeks, we found that it only occurs in recent versions of Acrobat. Installing version 22.003.20258 and disabling updates fixes the problem, but this is not a good long-term solution. The support engineer I was working with said to submit a bug report here, but please also check the case notes for full details of everything that's been attempted.

  10. There should be an option/registry key/ gpo or similar to hard code the output folder for saving generated pdf files. This should be doable for multiple users through some setting/template/gpo etc rather than doing manually for reach user?

  12. I succesfully combine them but the file size remains the same even if I change the file size option to small. I was converting images that were around 2MB.

  13. I am able to combine multiple images into a combined PDF file but then when trying to save, I can select the location and hit save, but nothing happens and the save is NOT completed. This seems to happen if the combined file is more than 300 pages, regardless of the images size. If I perform multiple combines and the total pages exceed that threshold, I need to quit the application and restart to be able to save. This only occurs with the 64-bit version (latest version and versions since last June) as I am now working with the 32-bit…

  14. When using the combine file function, it would be extremely beneficial to include the individual file names on the page automatically when the binder is created. Example: When combing several hundred photos into a binder having the adobe include individual file names (normally created by the camera system used to take the photos) on the page would make it easier to share a file with someone and then be able to discuss individual photos. It would ensure all parties were viewing the same photo as well make it easier to locate a particular photo to print as well.

  15. Our previous PDF tool allowed us to create a PDF of the bookmarked document names. It added a Page at the beginning of the PDF with the document name, page number and the numbers when CTRL Click on them moved to that page of the PDF. Our attorneys like this feature, because it tells the recipient exactly what they got in that PDF. It worked like a Microsoft Word TOC.

  16. Its frustrating and confusing for our users to have to save each time they create or combine a PDF to have to save it locally. When the process is complete the PDF opens in Adobe, we would then save to our DMS, not locally. Make this save disappear.

  17. When printing to Adobe PDF printer driver we can use custom page sizes. However, the driver software is not allowing to add pages smaller than one inch (if only one dimension is smaller than one inch - the definition is not possible).

    If there is a reason of not supporting a small pages, it should be published and documented. Also, when adding custom pages smaller than one inch there should be a warning or error messages displayed. The existing page definitions should not be automatically deleted.

  18. We experienced a serious bug at my organization that led to a data breach.

    I work in the assessments department at a medical college and we provide endpoing assessments to our trainees in order to graduate and receive specialist status.

    After each exam, we use mail merge from Microsoft word, plus the Adobe "generate a pdf" feature, to issue result letters to passing and failing candidates. There are different letters for passing candidates vs fail candidates.

  20. When you create a PDF from Acrobat>Tools>Create PDF from Blank Page, by default, it creates the document in letter size. However, in Europe we work with A4 all the time. It would be helpful to setup the default to A4 (or other format) so that Acrobat pro always uses this default page size when creating new pdf pages.
