Windows shutdown permission errorAfter latest update to Acrobat DC, dated 2/4/2020, users get the following error when shutting down or restarting their computer: "You don't have permission to shut down and restart this computer." The problem seems to be isolated to shutting down/restarting via the start button. The computer can be shut down via command prompt, or red button on login screen. If I disable the 3 Adobe services relating to license check and updates, then restart, the problem goes away. 1 vote

Adobe Acrobat Reader DC installed displaying another app's iconI installed Adobe Acrobat Reader DC on my new Windows 10 laptop. After installation I was looking for the familiar Adobe icon, and it was nowhere to be seen. The only icon that said "new" was the icon for One Photo Viewer. I hovered the pointer over it, and it identified the app as Adobe Reader! I clicked on it, sure enough it opened Adobe! What gives??? I restarted the computer, no change. How did Adobe install with another app's icon???? 3 votes

Customer serviceI am editing a 323 page book. Page numbers are a nightmare. Roman numerals are not available for the Preface. I cannot get Customer Service on the phone. I was on hold 28 minutes, then had to call Sale (which answered the phone) to route me to Customer Service. I have now been in hold for 23 minutes. Terrible customer service. Accessibility in Non-Paid AcrobatMake accessibility capabilities part of the non-paid Acrobat I am exceptionally disappointed and frustrated the accessibility features are not part of the free version of Acrobat. Stop making your stuff annoyingAdobe Pro Individual (1 app 1 installation use 1-2 times a week) is 2 times as expensive as microsoft office business suite (7 apps 5 installations use most days) and Adobe causes double the problems. 
 I understand your money hungry, but if you cannot provide the extremely expensive subscription service I will cancel and move to an alternative.
 Some of which for a lifetime license are less than half the price for a one year subscription from you1 vote

Remove the 5 license limit for purhasingThere should be no limit for purchasing licenses each month. As a system admin, it takes time and effort to go through chat support to have additional licenses purchased instead of being able to do it yourself. This is definitely a must for every system administrator. Plus, I'm not comfortable with the idea of the support team of being able to purchase on behalf of the company. 1 vote

User account login verification - view logUser account login verification Across all Adobe products that require someone to login or ‘ping’ the Adobe licensing services, managed/stored by Adobe – I would like to review the log file of the user accounts who are hitting the licensing service. 
 With thousands of users, I need a programmatic way to verify only current and authorized users are using the licensing associated with our account. In my past, I’ve had ex-employees and keys shared and ended up paying for someone else’s use of Adobe products.

I had a very helpful call with support this morning who advised they would pass this idea onto your devs, and I would post it here also. We use Windows Virtual Desktop, fairly new virtualization service by Microsoft and it would make sense for Adobe to implement the ability to automate a signout from Adobe/Acrobat or a timeout at least for the following reasons. Our WVD solution contains hostpools(pools of machines), when a user logs in, a random machine will be allocated to the user. For convenience purposes an autosign out would be great. Disable the information when a user has always two active logonsHi, we use free seating and we have a Cirix environment. Our users complains about the information, that they have to log out from a session when they want open the next open.  La applicazione Acrobat 8 Professional funzionava perfettamente in Windows 7 e la attivazione temporanea di 30 giorni funziona perfettamente in Windows 10. Poichè in questo momento posso accontentarmi delle funzionalità del vecchio prodotto vorrei attivarlo.
 Voglio segnalare che è un comportamento scorretto quello di impedire la attivazione della licenza di Acrobat Pro S/N 1118-1766-8883-8567-7953-6120 visto che a suo tempo ho comprato una licenza perpetua. Si tratta da parte di Adobe di una infrazione al contratto di licenza perpetua che ha come unico limite il numero di attivazioni…1 vote

Can't export to PDF due to errorI can't export anything to PDF format because it says "Adobe Acrobat license has either expired or not been activated. Try launching Adobe Acrobat." 
 I've checked and my license has not expired and is activated. I've relaunched, logged out and signed in on Adobe Acrobat and it still shows the same pop up.

Stop using Internet Explorer for application loginsAdobe Acrobat (2019.012.20034) uses Internet Explorer engine to connect to the internet, such as when a user is logging in. I have confirmed this is true for Adobe Acrobat and expect it to also occur for other Adobe Create Suite applications. I am not talking about websites such as the admin portal or Adobe cloud, this is specific to the Adobe Acrobat DC Windows application.
