  3. I had pdf writer installed on my Mac when it died. I tried bringing it to this new machine from my backup disk and it now wants me to buy some adobe cloud. Been on the phone on hold for hours, been on chat for hours, frankly the customer service is horrible or non-existent. Please help men get back up and running.

  5. Just purchased Adobe Acrobat Pro DC and installed. When I open a pdf and try to merge with another the program says I am only using a trial version???
    When I try to sign in through the program I get a pop-up with terms of use and license agreement but I cannot check the box to agree to the terms and conditions so I cannot sign in...tried to contact them by phone but nobody answers...

  9. Your software has always been terrible, no surprise there. But today I opened the garbage referred to as Adobe Acrobat Pro DC and I encountered something conflicting. It seems as if Acrobat has decided I no longer have a subscription and can't edit pdfs. Clicking on my name in the corner sends me to a web page clearly showing my subscription to Acrobat Pro DC.
    At first glance I thought this was a bug, and it probably is. But on further consideration I think this might actually be a feature. See in the past Acrobat Pro performed as expected. Start…

  10. After 2 years and 7 months I am just learning that I have to be signed in to use my subscription to Acrobat Dc properly. Maybe this is understood but it would have been nice if it was explained back in 2015. I have been using software that works sometime and not others. I found it hard to edit or save files at times and thought the software was a beta version (not fully tested)

  11. One Acrobat instance installed but 2 instances of Acrobat PRO DC running concurrently prevent PDFs from opening. Only solution is to quit "both" Acrobats and try again. Uninstalling and reinstalling Acrobat does not help. Uninstalling and reinstalling the entire ACC suite does not help either. Problems observed in three separate, not networked Macs. No Acrobat Free Reader installed on the systems either.

    Hi Andres,

    Can you elaborate on the behavior here:
    1. What happens when you open a PDF with Acrobat? Does it trigger two instances of Acrobat.
    2. When you just launch Acrobat from finder, does that also trigger two separate instances.

  12. cannot activate acroat dc pro - with existing account keeps going back to Trial expired - buy, i am an annual customer already. Tried to contact live person, held on phone 20+ plus minutes, transferred and have been holding 49.51 minutes so far. Agent said "do not hang up" will take longer. This is ridiculous.. Adobe has no problem in collecting my annual fee for these services, i should have no problems in having full accessibility. What's up Adobe???

  13. I get a "limit reached" message when installing DC on home PC. The "limit reached" message says my email has been used to activate the software on 2 computers.

    I'm signed into DC on my office PC and nowhere else that I can tell.

    I’m signed into Adobe Scan app on my phone but I don’t have DC installed on my phone.

  14. Acrobat Pro DC crashes after opening / closing some docs in sequence

    1. Open a pdf file using AVDoc.Open(...);
    2. Close opened pdf file by clicking window close button (Acrobat main window)
    3. Repeat this sequence 3-5 times without waiting too long
    • Crash will happen shortly after opening (pdf ist already visible)
    • Crash will not happen, if Acrobat main window hasn't been closed (close tabsheet instead)
    • Crash will not happen, if Acrobat Stnadard DC is used

  15. I am signed in to Creative Cloud. When I open Acrobat DC I have to sign in to my account there as well. Then I attempt to send and track and I get prompted to sign in AGAIN. It confirms I am signed in and then I try send and track again and it asks me to sign in AGAIN. I have a fully paid subscription to multiple apps. The software just makes me sign in over and over and over again.

  17. Bug Report - The text in these API's are stunningly useless to me. Check these screenshots and send this issue to someone who knows how to fix it. I've been dealing with this problem, and have tried to get it resolved, since day 1 of my purchase of Adobe Pro XI. My other Adobe products have some of these same defects in the API's. These boxes are unreadable. No adjustment to screen display or resolution or in the program preferences makes a bit of difference.

  18. I just installed Acrobat Pro on my Mac Desktop and not my computer won't stop beeping. I have turned off every sound control I can find and the beeping continues. And it even beeps when Acrobat has been closed.

  19. I do not know what your programmers did to the Adobe products in the 2018 version but all Acrobat and Illustrator keep doing is crashing my computer. I reinstalled 2017 Illustrator but there is not a rollback for Acrobat. Please tell your programmers that "Just because you can does not mean you should"

    I am sorry for the inconvenience you are facing, next time you see Acrobat crash, can you please save the crash logs and attach them here, it will help us to narrow down the issue.
