I have a purchased pdf with bookmarks and links to areas throughout the same documents. However clicking on the bookmarks does not do anything.
I have checked the link by
selecting 'edit link'
The Action is 'execute a menu item' 'Go to a page in this document'.
Bookmarks and links appear to be set up correctly so I am not sure why they are not working?

Adobe should allow user to enlarge menu font sizes.
I often want to know what page number I’m working in, but must lean into the screen to visualize the tiny number font listed in the menu bar.7 votes
We’ve kept a note of this Feature Request and we will revisit this once we have more users reporting this to us.
We’ll let you know if we get this planned for future.
Please help me find my autosaved document- the program closed and I know it's set to autosave every five minutes. Can't find the new version of the document anywhere.3 votes
Brief title: Bug: no key binding of custom menu
Environment (OS, other related application versions, etc.): Windows 7 running Acrobat 2019.008.20081
Expected result: An alphanumeric key binds to the item name. In the example above, since "C" is binds to Close of File menu item, binding of "u" is expected to the custom menu item named "CustomScripts"
Observed result: No alphanumeric key binding. A user using keyboard can only navigate through arrows, which is tedious and not accessible friendly.1 vote
Please create a functionality to save all tabs with one click. Currently we need to go through every tab to save them. And while at it, close all and print all -functions would come handy too.43 votes
Please consider returning the menu option's drop down menus to black letters. The current very thin grey font, while fashionable, does look very similar to the well established 'grey = unavailable' menu entries. Especially on LCD laptop screens who's hues & tone are affected by screen tilt. Thank you14 votes
Adobe Acrobat DC Pro, Version 2018.009.20050
Windows 10 Professional 64-bit
I save a portfolio in Split Vertical view.
When I reopen the portfolio, it has Split Horizontal view.
Acrobat should remember it was last in Split Vertical view.
Setting Split Vertical view should also be an option in the Properties of a Portfolio PDF.
Why the are you interrupting my workflow with fing pop ups that not only have I NO INTEREST in whatsoever and they've just crashed the fing application. Stop trying to push me in the direction of the cloud - if I wanted to go there I would sort it out myself. And I don't want you 'reaching out' to me. Just turn it off by default.9 votes
Really sorry for the issue that you are facing here.
Could you please share a snapshot of the popup that you are referring to that you do not wish to see.?
You can send it on firstname.lastname@example.org
can there be a way to change the ui colour like with the other apps or a way to pick a colour in the cc app and it syncs across all the apps

When selecting and copying passages of text from a PDF, commonly ligatures (e.g. special characters that represent a group of two characteris such as "fl"), are copied as special characters.
Upon pasting into Word or other software these special characters are often not recognized.
It would make much sense to have "smart" copy-and-paste that automatically converts ligatures into the respective single characters.3 votes
Since upgrading my iMac to MAC OS 10.13 Adobe Acrobat DC has become horribly unstable. It crashes constantly, but inconsistently. Sometimes it crashes when it's just open and sitting in the background. Sometimes it crashes when I'm attempting to open a PDF. It crashes regularly when I'm attempting to edit a PDF into a form. I don't get any on screen feedback except the dialog boxes asking if I want to report the "unexpected quit" to Apple, and then Adobe. I have completely uninstalled and reinstalled Acrobat DC. Any suggestions on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.10 votes
Can you please confirm if you are still facing issues with launching acrobat / installing acrobat ?
Through version 9, the properties bar was dock-able. Since X it is not, but it should be. Properties are always useful, it is annoying to have it floating over the document when I have toolbar space at the top of my screen sitting empty and gray and sad. I get that the properties toolbar is context sensitive so it will grow and shrink, but it was in 9 also. Please make all toolbars dockable!131 votes
Please add a magnifying glass to the tool bar to enlarge a specific area of PDF would be nice.4 votes
Thanks for Reaching out to us.
I would request you to kindly add the Loupe tool in your main toolbar. thats how you can do that
1) launch any pdf and right click on the main toolbar
2) select “Show Select and zoom Tool” and click on “Loupe Tool”
3) click on the loupe tool icon added to the toolbar and then click on any area in the pdf
Now you can see an enlarged view of a specific area in a pdf in a separate window
Let me know if that solves your concerns
Have 1 icon for bookmarks wether it is created by adding a new bookmark or combining pdf files.
If you need to add a new bookmark to a file you cannot get it to display the same icon as those created using combine pdf's. Unless they offer different functions there is nothing but confusion caused by having 2 different icons.18 votes

I use Adobe Acrobat through my entire Engineering Consulting Business (Bowden engineering Solutions Pty ltd), but I have a bug with Acrobat DC Pro. I am running it on a laptop that has on Windows 10 and a second monitor that is connected with HDMI and positioned above the laptop monitor. The laptop monitor is still selected as the "main display". The bug occurs about 50% of the time when I open an Acrobat file. The Acrobat window maximises on the second monitor and there is a blank portion along the top of the Acrobat window that covers the menus, the ribbon, and the top of the document. The window controls are still visible, but they do not work (i.e. I cannot resize the window). If I unplug the second monitor, then the Acrobat window moves to the monitor on the laptop and works fine there. If I then plug the second monitor back in and drag the Acrobat window onto the second screen it is fine. If I maximise the window, then it is the same chance of the problem re-occurring.
The bug is intermittent, and I did not get it to reoccur when I was writing this bug report (I tried 5 times to get a screen shot of the bug). So the attached picture is not an exact screen shot of the bug occurring but it is very similar. Note that the Adobe icon and file name should be showing on the top left but that is also missing when the bug occurs.
I have tried reinstalling Adobe Acrobat and the bug still occurs.
I digitally sign/approve about 200 documents per month that are created by my staff (about 10 per day) and in that process need to look at several other pdf's, including aircraft manuals, regulations specification etc. In addition to that, I need to work on my own projects (that are issued as pdfs). So, I almost always have several pdf files open in Adobe Acrobat and rely on this software.
If this is known bug then any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I always have to open the comments bar to add text. Why not just have that T in the main bar or allow us to add that. Also, why is the icon for Comments bar the same as sticky note? Odd. so please give us ability to choose more icons for the main bar. Takes too much time opening different bars. That is not efficient at all. And make that comments icon different than the sticky note one. Strange.1 vote
There should be an easy to find, one click toggle type button that changes the background from white to the transparency grid.
I often work with PDFs with some amount of transparency for one reason or another, and when showing people that are not familiar with the transparency grid it gets confusing, so if I could quickly toggle the background to white that would help out a lot. Actually, being able to toggle bleed lines and such on and off would be a big help too.8 votes
Per support, it is not currently possible to mass edit the Title attribute of multiple PDFs simultaneously. It would be very helpful to be able to mass edit PDF meta data.
Example: A user has hundreds of PDFs. Many of them have a single space as the Title attribute. This is confusing for the user since it appears to them that no title is displayed when opening a PDF.
Using Action Wizard, you could select the folder with the PDFs and edit the title attribute for all the PDFs simultaneously.1 vote
