make features like "reader view" opt in instead of opt out. it interferes with visualizing pdf documents and materials as designed
Change new tools to OPT in instead of OPT out with no clear mechanism. new versions of Acrobat are harder to navigate, harder to comment on and familiar features seem to have been shrouded or eliminated. keeping pdfs in the layout they came in is a bonus, not a liability. perhaps have a reader mode button, but otherwise let us look at the documents in total, even on tablets and phones. Feels like we lost many tools in the latest build and I have trouble finding ways to get around the loss adding way too many obstacles.

make this simple to use. Every time you update it takes weeks to adjust
STOP updating this. The people doing the updates have no idea how this is used product is used. Every update is a massive learning, takes weeks to figure simple stuff

Adobe Updater should ask before installing updates
I have turned Acrobat Auto Update off because I just ran into the third time where my PC ran out of memory and crashed because the Update process started while I was in the middle of working with several other applications, including Acrobat. I would be fine if the updater provided an indication that updates are available, and the ability to choose the update time, but I hate losing work because a program chooses to start an automatic update in the middle of other more important work.

Standard dialog of the operating system for saving files
I want to use the standard dialog of the operating system to save files as the default, not a solution from Adobe. This only costs time and is a bad UX experience.

Can't disable the new acrobat- Crashes everytime
Acrobat keeps crashing when I try to disable the New Acrobat and I can't get anything done. The AI bar is annoying. Can't disable it either. Need a fix! I prefer the Classic since I use Enfocus Pitstop and can't even get them in a toolbar. Please fix this problem. It's a frustrating bug/glitch!

Your pathetic, hateful scroll bar ruins the product. It's like you're actively trying to cripple your users.

+create button is irritating. Please remove.
With your recent SW, you not only filled both sides with your revenue addons, but you also put the "+create" button with all of the tabs.
I tolerate your tool sidebars, but your "+create" button is IN THE WAY OF DAILY WORK!!!
I am constantly miss-clicking it and having to deal with that tool getting in my face all the time. You make it worse by being hyper-sensitive to the mouse pointer moving across it and then opening a larger context window. It is IN MY FACE ALL THE TIME.
Congratulations for making this a regularly irritating experience.

Thumbs down to the new interface
I'm sure the new features are very powerful and an improvement over the previous version; however, swapping the entire interface from left to right feels like an affectation by the visual design team. For one thing, moving the save, print, etc., functions from the left side of the window to the right means that now Adobe is backwards from every other design or word processing program out there. Yes, Google did this as well and I still hate it, so no points to you for trying to copy them. Having the tools on the right side was consistent with your…

Re-separate the title bar and tab bar
In the latest update to Adobe Reader, the title bar has been merged with the tab bar. This means that when I have x number of documents open, filling the tab/title bar with tabs, it becomes very difficult to move the whole app window using the drag-and-drop with the mouse, since there is basically no area to click to grab the app window. Instead, you end up dragging one of the tabs out of the main window to open it in a new separate main window.
Being able to grab the title bar for moving the window is an essential…

Hide the left side tool bar
I DESPERATELY want a user preference that inhibits automatically opening the left side toolbar. I've seen a couple of other comments on the same topic where an Adobe engineer claims that F8 turns off the menu. News Flash: F8 does nothing in my Acrobat Reader AND I ALWAYS want the left-side tools menu hidden, unless summoned. I READ PDFs with Acrobat Reader, I don't need or want to see editing tools. So far (after YEARS of use) I haven't needed to redact, highlight, or annotate (comment), but I can see those capabilities as being potentially valuable when needed, though RARELY.

HORRIBLE-WILL UNSUBSCRIBE IF NOT FIXED
New adobe is just horrible! Not user friendly whatsoever, too many clicks, cant sign or edit text simply like I used to. I used to love it , now it's become a hassle! Why would you do this?! I rather use an online bootleg version. I most likely will end my subscription- it's not worth the trouble. I work efficiently, and this update has done the opposite to my work. I simply don't have time, now that you guys have made it more complicated!!

Stop messing with the GUI on your products
Please, for the love of all that's good and right in the world, stop dramatically changing the GUI of your products that are already functional as is and making us relearn where all the tools we use are because you decided to rearrange the furniture. It's not fun. It's certainly not an improvement. I have work to do, I don't have time to figure out, every time there's an "update" where you decided to hide everything I need to use to get through my day. Your latest Acrobat "improvements" meant that in the middle of an important, time-sensitive project, I…

"Pages" panel takes up too much screen space, and it doesn't remember my resizing of the panel.
The new-look UI for Adobe Reader has a new, revamped "pages" panel on the right side. This is where page thumbnails are shown. The problem is that the whole panel element is way too wide. It takes up way too much screen space. Even when you reduce the size of the thumbnails to the smallest view setting, there is still too much white space on either side of the thumbnails. It IS possible to resize the panel by dragging the panel's border with your mouse, but the problem with this is that Adobe Reader will not remember the resizing of…

New design is garbage
Side panel page navigation are you stupid? who looks at the bottom right corner. at the very least let me choose what tools go where and the floating toolbar on the left is just lazy. finally if you are going to roll out a new one for all that is holy let me move my customizations with me.

Popups
Remove the 10 million billion trillion popups when initially running after downloading/signing up for a trial. Also, if you can't get the program to run at least as well as Microsoft word for editing a document... no one will.

New Update is Reducing Productivity
New update is making it difficult to use Adobe for simple PDF things as previously used. We may have to unfortunately cancel our subscription if we are not allowed to revert to the previous version and use another PDF viewing and editing software.

Minimize Menus
Why would you maximize all the slide outs and menus when you open a PDF? I open these to READ THEM! Instead I get an image the size of a Post-It note and every possible menu and slide out taking up 75% of the screen space.
Please maximize the size of the PDF when you open it and have every menu and slide out closed. I open documents so I can read them 99% of the time. The other 1% of the time I can open a menu or slide out.

toolbar
The new toolbar is too big, when I make it the smaller version it's blocking some of the type on the pages. The old space where this was is literally empty on the right side next to the scroll.
