Don't break menu keyboard sequences from old Acrobat
Modern Acrobat breaks keyboard sequences we're accustomed to use to navigate menus; for example, alt + V, P,P for double page view. There's not an apparent way to access this or other non-shortcutted functions from the keyboard now. (I do like the leaner view of new acrobat, but please improve keyboard accessibility.)

User interface change unnecessary and too drastic.
Why in the world did you have to change user interface so drastically? Icons moved left to right, top to bottom, etc. Who needs that? What is the purpose other than self-serving some psychopathic front-end software engineer? You seem to desire losing your loyal users - now I need to spend hours trying to figure out what is where and will be much less productive for the coming weeks. Shame on you!

Icon taking valuable space
Remove all icons, share, feedback, tutorials, notifications and profile and settings on one side on the other Remove HOME - TOOLS and DOCUMENT.
who in the H-ell was this idea, a person with a 2 mile monitor?
if you leave Home-Tools and Document, then remove the hidden section on the right side, this has the same as those 3 options.
here at work honestly, I hate to work with acrobat, at home I love working with Kofax.
if you think you are the best, no, you are not. Acrobat was a lovely, professional program, now I hate it so much.1 vote -
Portfolio
Liebes Adobe-Team,
Dear Adobe Team,
I would like to suggest a feature enhancement for handling PDF portfolios. Currently, it is only possible to navigate into the folder structure of a portfolio, but there is no…

Re-separate the title bar and tab bar
In the latest update to Adobe Reader, the title bar has been merged with the tab bar. This means that when I have x number of documents open, filling the tab/title bar with tabs, it becomes very difficult to move the whole app window using the drag-and-drop with the mouse, since there is basically no area to click to grab the app window. Instead, you end up dragging one of the tabs out of the main window to open it in a new separate main window.
Being able to grab the title bar for moving the window is an essential…

Allow Acrobat DC Pro to open PDF in separate windows via new interface
Allow Acrobat DC Pro to open PDF in separate windows via new interface. The old interface had this but the new interface only allows PDFs to be opened in tabs.

text selection broken
Acrobat Pro does not always allow the text selection tool to actually select text (in OCR'd or otherwise readable text distilled from a Word doc or whatever). Quitting the app then restarting solves the problem, temporarily, but later the bug returns. There are threads about this on Reddit and other places. I am not able to produce a screenshot because I cannot capture a picture of Acrobat not allowing the selection tool to work.

New interface does not have simple zoom/pan and takes up half screen with useless panes
Get rid of new Acrobat Reader completely. It is a dismal counter productive failure

Stop tellinig me I can edit a PDF every single $(!*! time I open a PDF
Nearly each time I open adobe it pops up and reminds me I can edit PDFs
I GOT IT
I GET IT
I JSUT WANT TO #$(!( READ MY GOD DAMMED ($!(! PDF .I miss the early 2000's when Adobe worked, was relaible ,and didn't constantly **** stuff around
For example, I needed to redact a PDF, it only let me select text but the PDF was improperly created so the text colums were all over the place.
All I needed to do was drop a simple redcatiion box, SIMPLEFire your project manager, get some real…

Include local documentation with the app.
Include documentation with the program. The Help interface only lists a link to the online documentation under "Visit Acrobat help online." This is useless for systems that do not have a network connection to the Internet. The program should include a local copy of the documentation that can be read offline.

The new version sucks big time. Why take away certain features & make the tool bar on the side where we can't move it to the top task bar.
The new version of Adobe sucks, it is totally user un friendly and requires a lot more work and navigating to do what was much simpler. Why change something that was working fine. Do you even test drive the new version to see how it is prior to sending out to the public. And the program keeps freezing when adding pics and the "restore " version doesn't work at all when you have to close the program and reopen continuously. Why pay for this piece of garbage software. Can I charge you for all of my lost time trying to…

No
Tabs on the new version are terrible. it is now very difficult to see what documents are open. The stupid little star for the active document tab is also terrible. There should be a visible delineation between the tabs and the active document tab should just be a different color or shade or even outlined with a thicker line type. Stop trying to reinvent the wheel.

New Acrobat no longer able to open PDF in separate windows
Open documents as new tabs in same window dialog box is gone in the new version. This means there is no choice but to use tabs when opening new documents. It is frustrating for my work flow and adds extra steps.

Hide the left side tool bar
I DESPERATELY want a user preference that inhibits automatically opening the left side toolbar. I've seen a couple of other comments on the same topic where an Adobe engineer claims that F8 turns off the menu. News Flash: F8 does nothing in my Acrobat Reader AND I ALWAYS want the left-side tools menu hidden, unless summoned. I READ PDFs with Acrobat Reader, I don't need or want to see editing tools. So far (after YEARS of use) I haven't needed to redact, highlight, or annotate (comment), but I can see those capabilities as being potentially valuable when needed, though RARELY.

PDF files with layers always open the 'Layers' side panel.
When i open a PDF file that contains layers (most of our generated drawings) the 'Layers' side panel always opens, this is not required and I have to manually close the side panel every time, please add an option to stop side panels or tool panels from opening automatically.

ai assistant
AI assistant text box doesn't allow you to type (fully) if you have hotkeys enabled (it only types in the letters that aren't acrobat hotkeys). I end up having to type it in a word processor and then having to copy and paste in the box. This is very inconvenient.

Undo Button?
How many twist the content left-right or up-down buttons does an Adobe pro need? Answer, about 3 more than you'd think would be needed....make one of them an undo button...geez

Why quit supporting software and creating new when the old doesn't even work right?
Message from Adobe: "If you are still using Acrobat 11.x or other older versions, please note that those are no more supported by Adobe. Try out the latest, Acrobat DC.
In case your concern is not addressed in the latest version, please report the issue against Acrobat DC."
I will translate this for you.
If you have software that you love and that works, that is responsive, and that is stable, please stop using it. We have something fantastic for you!
