save as... toolbar button
Add a "save as..." button to the user interface. For me and I think a lot of other people who like to save a downloaded and automagically opened pdf to their hard disk: just a simple Save As... button next to the Save button would be a great and very easy to implement feature. It's one click less as going to the menu each and every time for this basic function.

CPU starvation / Program not responding
The user interface of Adobe Acrobat Standard becomes unresponsive after opening this document. The mouse cursor changes to the "busy" cursor, task manager seems to show full CPU utilisation of a single core, and the only means to recover is to force quit the program.

Remember/save scroll amount.
Make Adobe Acrobat remember how far you/what page has been scrolled down to, as it is annoying having to remember or scroll all the way back down to the page I was on before I closed it.

Floating tool bar on left covers text in documents
Please move the quick access tool bar that is floating on the left side to the top again. It covers part of the document and that is really bad when one needs several documents open next to each other!

Developer Suggestion - Simplified E-Reader Mode for Adobe Acrobat Reader
Hey team,
I've been considering a potential enhancement for Adobe Acrobat Reader that could significantly improve user experience, especially for those focused on reading without distractions. Here's a suggestion for implementing a simplified E-Reader Mode:
Feature Proposal: Simplified E-Reader Mode Toggle
Objective:
Provide users with a quick and accessible way to switch to a distraction-free reading interface within Adobe Acrobat Reader.Proposal:
Introduce a dedicated button or toggle switch prominently placed in the interface, enabling users to swiftly transition to a simplified E-Reader Mode.Key Features:
Toggle Switch: Implement a visible and easily accessible toggle switch/button in the toolbar or…

New Feature: Open a PDF without all the ********
New Feature: Open a PDF without all the ********. Acrobat is UX trash. The PDF is about 40% of the window, the remaining is upselling or never-used sidebars or GIANT menus sparsely peppered with text. Just have a mode where you open a PDF and it shows the PDF. ZERO bezels. ZERO menus. Just your PDF. That's the 99% workflow anyway, just do it. 100% window utilization. Just do it.

Zooming in Adobe Acrobat inactive window doesn't work
In Windows 10 you have the possibility to scroll inactive windows (Start > Settings > Devices > Mouse > Scroll inactive windows when I hover over them).
You only have to hover over the inactive window with the mouse and you can scroll. It's the same with zooming. When you press CTRL and scroll, it zooms the window under the cursor of the mouse. It works with all other apps, i.e. MS Office, even other Adobe apps like Illustrator, InDesign, etc. but not with Adobe Acrobat. You have to actually click (activate) the window with PDF for that to work.…

Allow Categories in the Floating Toolbar
I do a lot of re-ordering and re-arranging of PDF documents. In the "Old Acrobat" interface, the green "Organize Pages" button was in a narrow column of easily-accessible buttons on the right side of the screen. I could snap into the Organize Pages view, rearrange my pages, and snap back into editing. In the "New Acrobat" interface, the only way to access this feature is clicking the "All tools" button, which eats up a good chunk of screen space, and click "Organize Pages."
Either give us an icon-only view of the "All tools" bar, as the old Acrobat interface, or…

"First Steps" tutorial always re-appearing
Tutorial "First Steps" always appears on app start. Even if you close it, the dialog with the "First Steps" tutorial always re-appears. This bug is reproducable with every new installation even on new computers.

Ability to customize mouse buttons.
Adobe designed the mouse cursor function is very crumble some. It's either set to select to edit text and images or pan. These two functions are always in uses. Why they cannot be set active concurrently.
And there is no workaround such inconvenience. How about the ability to customize the middle button to pan (just like AutoDesk).

Where did the view display go so I can see my pdf layout out like a book?
Where did the view setting go so I can see my pdf layout out like a book? I shouldn't have to spend hours trying to find a tool that was easily accessible in previous version.

press escape to dismiss "No matches found" dialog
After using Find (Ctrl+F), I should be able to dismiss the "No matches found" dialog by pressing the Escape key. Not the Enter key. All other apps use Escape for this.

Missing Settings section
Provide a central place to change the Settings. For example, when I wanted to change the Opacity of Highlights, I spent good amount of time to find the way to do it. If there is a central place to change setting, it become easy to do it quickly.

the zoom in/out % box is so annoying
(Windows users) after using Ctrl + mouse scroll wheel to zoom in and out, the % box appears at the bottom right for a while, that makes me cannot use the space bar to scroll the screen immediately. It needs to wait for a while for the box to disappear. This is stupid and very bad user experience, pls fix it.

page control
In the new version of Acrobat (just became available), the page control features need to be returned.
In the old version, the page controls toolbar could be docked at the top or made so it would appear at the bottom of the page when the mouse went near it. That option was incredibly useful, please bring it back. It allowed an easy single click to change how the page was viewed, either by making single page view, or page scroll, and also by allowing a quick button to view page thumbnails.
Also, in the new Acrobat, there doesn't appear to…

Document title placement on page after document has been named
Where is the name of the document shown after it has been scanned in and named? Up until this morning, when I named a document, the name would show clearly at the top of the Adobe page. That way the page can rest in the background while i enter it into a database, and I could see the name of the document. Now I cannot even see where the document name is located anywhere on the Adobe page. How is it that the name of the document showing up is suddenly a design flaw? Why must any change to any…
