Bug report: Unresponsive scroll wheel for large dialog boxes
When using Acrobat Pro DC (Win 10) on a smaller screen (or lower resolution) and accessing a larger dialog box that displays a vertical scroll bar on the right (one example would be the General category dialog box under Edit|Preferences) the mouse scroll wheel has no affect and does not scroll the dialog box. The manual scroll bar does still work, but still annoying that the scroll wheel does not in these situations.

Choose a primary display by default or defined by PC System
Adobe Acrobat Reader DC seems to have a problem finding which of my multi-monitors is my primary display. We should have an option to set our primary display either manually or determined by the PC system.
I have two monitors: one is my laptop built-in display and another one is my external monitor (connected via VGA cable). My PC system sets the built-in display as the primary display and the external monitor as the secondary display, I set my PC Windows 10 system in the extended display mode.
However, whenever I open any PDF file, my PC system opens Adobe…

Please see below ...
It would be GREAT if, when multiple PDFs are selected and opened all at once, Acrobat could SORT them as Windows sorts them in File Explorer. Each Client has multiple documents OVER TIME and we name the PDFs so they'll sort chronologically in File Explorer but once loaded into Acrobat, their filename tabs are all scrambled up across the top of the Acrobat window and with the filenames not real easy to see it's very LABORIOUS to un-scramble them ... :-(

Disable mouse wheel zooming
I have to disable ourselves wheel zooming every time I launch Adobe Acrobat Pro DC version 2020.012.20041. The program seems to "remember" most user preferences but not this one. It is frustrating.

Where are the old mark up tools? I only what to draw some circles round things to highlight them. This new design is wasting my time.
Stop changing the workspace around so people stay familiar and can work efficiently. Professional software is supposed to support and enable efficient working.

macOS Big Sur Beta 10: Page scrolling unbearably slow
Even in the latest public beta of MacOS 11, overall performance of Acrobat is sluggish. The app may take over a second to respond to a page scroll request via track pad and scrolling will be choppy.
1 voteHi,
Sorry for the issue that you are facing here.
We tried this at our end but couldn’t get a reproducible case.
Could you please share your BigSur Beta10 Machine configuration/System Information?
Also could you please share a Screen recording video of the sluggish behavior that you observe?
Thanks

Redesign "insert" vs. "extract" icons on buttons
Dear Adobe:
Please redesign the icon graphic for the "insert page" button in Acrobat. Right now, the icon looks too similar to the "extract page" icon, and does not seem to match the action that it causes. This is confusing and makes the software less intuitive.
The "insert page" icon shows an arrow that originates in the center of a single page and points outside of that page. This suggests that something is being taken OUT of the page/document, when in fact the "insert" action is exactly the opposite. In other words, the arrow should originate from outside of the…

New cloud share icons are taking up prime real estate
I want to remove the new share icons that were added with the DC cloud app. They are taking up prime menu bar real estate and I need that space for my quick access tools. I also wish Adobe would program size options for the menu bar icons so I can choose smaller icons in order to have more of them fit in the greatly reduced menu bar that you've given us.

Screen scaling breaks comments pane
Windows 10 Enterprise, version 1909
Adobe Acrobat Standard DC, version 2020.012.20041
Two screens with different scales: 125% (3840x2160) and 100% (1920x1080)When I have the comment pane open and move Acrobat between screens with different resolutions, the comment pane becomes is cut short. This behaviour appears to be strictly related to multi-screen environments where the screens have different scales. When I set both screens to the same scale (125%) the problem disappeared.
Workaround: after moving Acrobat from one screen to another, I select another tool on the task pane (like Export PDF) and then I select Comment on the task…

"Expected a dict object." when using an invalid PDF with the Compare Files tool
I was trying to use the Compare Files tool with two PDFs, but when I clicked "Compare" I was prompted with this error "Expected a dict object." (See
CleanShot 2020-09-17 at 16.16.02
) Afterward the Acrobat application ceased to function normally and I had to restart. After attempting to open one of the files, it became clear that the PDF was damaged in some way. I'm not able to attach the damaged PDF here, but I'm sure it's easy to find one to reproduce the error.A more helpful error message in the Compare Files tool would be one that…

Make CTRL+Q obey "Prompt when closing multiple tabs" setting
At the moment it seems that the "Prompt when closing multiple tabs" setting ONLY applies to the action of closing a a window using the X button.
It would be much less frustrating when you accidentally hit CTRL+Q (when trying ti actually hit CTRL+W) if Adobe at least gave you a prompt before closing everything.

Why does Adobe leave residual folders on a MacBook Pro AFTER an application delete/uninstall - VERY POOR!!
You're uninstaller NEED to remove all residual files/folders, and not just the applications!!
