  2. I close a file in DC, but when you try to move the file with File Explorer I get the error message that the file is still open. To move the file I must close DC entirely.

  3. I have tried this in Windows 10 2004 and windows 1909. On windows 2004 Adobe standard 2015 is being used. If I have preview enabled in windows I can open other files fine such as excel or word. However if the Adobe pdf is multiple pages long, double clicking it won't open it. Sometimes after pdf shows in explorer preview, I can double click it. Sometimes it takes 5 double clicks and pdf file opens. I have the same issue on a Windows 10 1909 with Adobe Reader DC. Once preview is disabled in windows explorer, pdf's open fine on double…

  5. After talking with support I understand that there is no idp initiated login via SSO to adobe, just SP initiated. This is something I would like to see, specifically for Okta

  7. TERRIBLE habit of Adobe to force through an upgrade when you want to use it. if Adobe is set as the default pdf reader, one may have to wait 5 minutes for the upgrade to go through PLUS restart the computer. there MUST be an option to delay the upgrade.

  8. Redaction : I would like to use some shortcut keys to find, mark and redact marked text.
Alternatively, suggestion or feature(with example) to partially redact using .net will be the optimum solution.

    Use case - RPA

  9. Currently Adobe only supports SP initiated SSO authentication. We would like our users to be able to go directly from IDP initiated. This is a basic feature of most IDP services and would be great to have.

  10. Return to the old version. The more you develop the worst it becomes at every upgrade. Completely irrational errors. Retract the last upgrade from users.!

  12. Please communicate with companies' admin if there is an upcoming change that might affect the users. For example, the login screen for Acrobat was changed. There is a button to sign in before and now it has 2 buttons "continue" and "Cancel". The other thing that was changed is when a user logins to more than 2 devices. The previous screen just telling the user to sign out of one of the old devices, the new screen which starting last Friday, showing all the workstations name that the user signed on and allow them to choose. We have to delay…

  13. BUG - Acrobat will not open a file if the file path is to long, THEN it will not export anything if the file name is to long. As far as I am aware we are no longer in the 90s so this should never be an issue. File name I understand as I personally do not want long names so I fixed it, so apparently there is a limit? What IS that limit...now remove that limit. File path? Was basically External Drive, 5 folders deep. Thats it and got an error saying path to long. That HAS to be…

  15. Encode cs6. Kindly add the DVD feature back as many of us still prefer using it than any other third-party app. It was not supposed to have been declared the end of life application as there are still many of us who prefer using it than any other third-party app.

  16. For ComparePDF, I hope there will be a way to make this side by side view switch to vertical. So I could be looking at comparisons this way (combined two screenshots below):

    https://community.adobe.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/124625i649C9FB593B67D14/image-size/large?v=1.0&px=999

I'm looking at financials with small font, so each line of text is fairly long.

In Side-By-Side view, zooming out makes the text too small; zooming in makes half of each line out of view.

  17. During the hurricane, when we were without internet service, I still had to keep working at home for my job.

I have Acrobat 2017, so it shouldn’t require access to the “cloud” to work.
Yet it ran astonishingly slow, so much that I had to force quit several times when it froze my computer.
I ended up using Apple Preview because it worked properly, as advertised, without slowing my system. It is a productivity application. Apparently Acrobat is no longer in that league.

I bought this version so I wouldn’t have to be tethered to the “cloud.” Why was that…

  18. Trying to combine 12 files into one single PDF. Multiple files have form fields that are similar. Adobe will not combine the files individually and forces me to create a portfolio. When I send the portfolio doc out it cannot be read. What a waste of time. Why can't we combine similar fillable forms with different data into one single document. MAKES NO SENSE.
