  1. I would like to inform you about a bug/problem in the "Fill and Sign" function in Adobe Reader. I assume that the problem affects the entire product line. Every installation is likely to be affected, you can reproduce the problem yourself

    The problem was identified in several versions of Abobe Reader, on 20+ computers, in different companies. Also in the free and PRO versions.

    The following problems occur:

    1.) Main problem: When entering a lot of text using the Fill&Sign function, Abobe Reader starts to lag extremely, and the use of the Fill and Sign function is no longer possible.…

  2. When I try to add signature fields to drawings on their own on drawings appended in other documents, Adobe bombs out and stops working / responding. I have a Adobe account for the specific purpose of using this functionality. It worked the first time but not once after that. Not sure what to do at this stage.

  3. You've hidden the "no fill" option for shapes under an inconvenient dialog box, making it take 12 extra steps to do something incredibly simple - making a rectangle around text to call it out. This is an incompetent decision. You have zero users satisfied with this decision, and every single user complaining about it.

    Fix the problem.

  4. I have been unable to send files for e-signature to a client since 9/20/2024. I am able to prepare the documents and send for e-signature. The document shows that it has been sent, however the client never recieves these documents. I have sent documents for e-sig internally and had no issues.

  5. I have been working with Adobe Acrobat Pro and the signature option for a long time. I use several signatures and stamps for documents, and besides the fact that now I can only have two saved, when I try to delete them to add new ones, they get blocked and I can't delete them, I have to put the stamps and signatures as images with all the problems that implies.

  6. Fill & sign does not work when "English with Arabic support" is installed. This is not documented, and there is no feedback to the user - the tool just doesn't do anything.

    It took many people painful research to realize that the Arabic support is the problem. See the following thread in Adobe community:

    It seems that Arabic support is installed silently (possibly geo-specific) and causes fill & sign to stop working. It is likely that many users are unaware of this and just can't use fill & sign (a broken feature).

  7. The app version as well as the online version of Acrobat does not allow creating forms. Despite having a full license, I am limited in working on Acrobat while traveling only with an iPad device. It should allow full feature use even on a mobile device if one has a full license.

  9. I send mutiple agreements to the same recipients. Each time I have to add their name and email address. It does remember past emails in a dropdown list - but it does not associate with a name.

    This feature is present in competitor products such as DropBox and Docusign. It wastes a lot of time.. e.g if I have to send 10 different files to 5 different signers I have to retype names 50 times...

  11. The PKCS#11 signature has disapeared from the app UI. The PKCS#11 module is connected in the Acrobat > Preferences, the module is logged in and shows the valid certificate. However the icon of the QES has disapeared from the app options, thus I cannot sign the document with QES

  14. Recently a new update was done for Adobe Reader editing and annotating a PDF. For a number of reasons this has been made worse in terms of easy of use:
    - Menu has now been put on the side instead of the top - interfering in the text of the PDF
    - This function is used to mark exam scripts sent in by PDF
    - The Check mark function used to work very well - not it does not work on many spots of the script - you now have to make a check mark in the wrong place and…

  15. New E-signature process is terrible. I need to have control over which email address I am sending from - as my Adobe email and work email are different. I also do not want to use the Adobe cloud to store the emails. Bring back the old process!!!

  16. The TYPE TEXT tool in the 'fill in forms' menu does not always format well when pasting text in. The text box exceeds the page size, text does not wrap, box is not editable, as far as I can tell. It might be the difference of copying from email vs. Word, which seems to work fine. In the old Acrobat I used this tool extensively rather than a comment box which is not always appropriate. I think it was just called a text box in the old version.

  17. Although this has been mentioned by others, I wanted to bring a different perspective to the request. Apologies for doubling up on the ask--

    Please allow users to create multiple signature profiles. It is impractical for many businesses and, honestly, the effect is kind of sexist. The impact of the policy likely affects women who use Acrobat DC disproportionately as they are more likely to use separate names in the workplace and their private lives compared to their male counterparts. They are also more likely to serve in roles where they may have to sign on behalf of one or…

  18. When I get to the e-signatures, I enter the emails and click for the next step.....it starts to download the document and stalls at 72% and won't go any further. What is wrong and how can I fix it?

    I'm using Adobe Pro which I just got and not sure how to use it yet.

  19. While attempting to edit a PDF using the Fill & Sign feature, I get the attached error message. I found a workaround stemming from this community forum:

    The workaround is to close QuickBooks while editing PDFs from Adobe Acrobat Pro.
    Please fix this, the problem seems to have been around since 2021.

  20. Without the E-sign side menu open, I cannot enter by clicking into a field. It turns it blue and cannot type. (see attached screenshot)
    I contacted tech support and they said to choose "All Tools" and "Fill & Sign" - that allows typing into the field by clicking into it, but now that E-Sign menu eats up a large portion of my screen. (see other attached screenshot).
    This is very inconvenient to be forced into having that side panel open. I wish you would change it back to the way it was.
