Prevents other files from opening. Stupid addition.

  5. The GIANT icons! The in-app sending that doesn't work! The childishness of the design and interface! The distance from the powerful controls that I have come to use and count on from decades of using Acrobat pro and seeing it grow in capacity and power.

    Every
    Single
    Time
I open this, save a document, send a document, reset the screen again to show thumbnails, I curse you all.

How can it be both harder to use and more childish?

  6. To secure PDF files, we do password protection and share via link.
However, once file is shared via link, this link is still valid for ages and anyone who knows the password can download.
Can we put a expiry date for this sharing link so that we can control the PDF files expiry protect our files. This will some what restrict any 3rd party websites/apps trying to remove password from PDF

  7. When sending out a document for review via Adobe DC, an email is generated that notifies the recipient of the review. The email notification defaults to PST. Please include an Adobe Document Cloud Account Preference option that includes an option to set a time zone so the local time zone is accurate when deadlines are emailed to the recipient.
A time zone setting is available in the preferences for your signature settings but not for the document review.

  8. Unable to get or publish comments to Adobe Shared Review PDF on SharePoint 365 with Adobe Acrobat Pro DC.

    Details:
I'm using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 2019.010.20064

When I open Shared Review PDFs hosted on SharePoint 365 I see the message:

    • Could not get new comments. Adobe Acrobat did not get a response from the server.

    • Adobe Acrobat cannot connect to the Review Server: 13.107.136.9

This appears to be the same error and message other users are reporting since October 2018 when setting up new Shared Review PDFs using SharePoint & Adobe Acrobat DC. Any updates on this would be…

  9. the recent update in October 2019 removed the multi-file sharing option which seriously decreased the convenience of Adobe Acrobat for our office. We are all very upset about the removal of this. we now need to utilize 3rd party file sharing services and we no longer need to subscribe as many account due to the removal.

    please bring it back ASAP?

    thank you

  11. We have hundreds of on-going shared reviews in Tracker. It is very difficult to locate files. The default sorting method appears to be based on recently opened files. If there's a file that hasn't been looked at for months (typical), searching through the "Joined" files is more than tedious. Sorting by file name (as well as other options) would be great. Alternatively, a search function would work as well.

And while you're at it--any way to speed up Tracker on start up? With this many files, it takes a heck of a long time to load.

  12. Need to have a comments resolution made from the shared review comments. The comments should be organized into a discussion list so that the host is able to respond to the comments and the reviewers to reply on it.

  15. In the most recent update to Adobe Acrobat, you removed Share & Track tool. I realize this tool has been changed to 'Share' and the original Send and Track is still available via browser. Even so, having Send & Track within the application tools is much more convenient.

Why don't I use the new 'Share' tool? Unfortunately the Share feature does not allow us to send a protected document. It is also very clunky to format a message longer than 5 words with custom subject line.

Bring back Send and Track in the UI please.

    Thanks!

  16. Please change the way we share PDFs through email back to the way you have before, or have it be the default to share over email. I'm not loving the toolbar that pops up because it adds another step to the sharing process.

  17. Bring back Send and Track! The new 'Share' feature is not nearly as useful and too stripped down.

-- We liked the ability to send a custom email message with file link directly from the application.

-- We liked how the user received an email with custom message about the shared file.

-- We liked how recipient could easily find and click 'Download' to receive the file, and that the file didn't always open in browser plugin. (FYI, browser plugins can erase some of the important options that were selected during exporting the file to PDF, including password protection for…

  19. I got a weird error message saying that my review could not be started because my comments had too many characters. The longest comment in my document has 156 characters, nowhere near the 1000 character limit my document supposedly hit.

  20. This is currently an error that we are experiencing. We are doing shared reviews and this was working fine several weeks ago. We were able to previously send out pdf's for review but now we are receiving this error.
