  1. Adobe Acrobat update 23.6.20320.0. When a PDF is open and you zoom in, the scroll bars disappear. Makes navigating PDFs really painful.

  2. Please do not release the new modern interface - immediately noticed the simple "add text" feature is gone - it is now edit entire document. Major functionaly design flaw. There is nothing wrong with the current version, please do not change it.

  3. had to reinstall Acrobat DC and now a plug in that we use, all the icons in the menu are displayed as broken image icons. uninstalled both and reinstalled still no difference. Plug in is fine on 2023.003.20215 64bit, but on the 2023.003.20244 is where the issue is.

  4. The feature in Menu -> Preferences -> Documents -> "Remember the current state of Tools Pane" is broken since the last update. Users wanting only the "Adobe Acrobat Reader" functionality simply do not need the "All tools" pane! Closing it repeatedly manually significantly deteriorates our productivity. I am on version 2023.003.20284 64-bit using Windows 10. How come such features were not included in your Regression Testing?

  5. Should be able to change the orientation of the toolbar allowing it to be in line with the text so it's not covering the beginning or end of multiple lines but is only covering one line in a top to bottom document that has no margins, like when zoomed in for reading

  6. I recreate a new post instead commenting last one, just to make sure it was taken as important it’s supposed to be, as a critical issue!
Hoping you could create another hot fix for this major problem.
We are now on macOS Sonoma 14.2.1 and Acrobat Pro version 2023.008.20458.

1: when we use Text tool and select a text to modify all the page became white and we cannot see anything.
2:There is also another problem when we scroll the pages, everything become white also.
3: We are no longer even able to check the preflight result, blank pages…

  7. The new Acrobat UI does not follow the "Hide Toolbars" setting from "Document Properties" > "Initial View".

    Acrobat Version: 2023.003.20269
    Platform: Windows 11 22H2

    Steps to reproduce:
    1. Open a PDF and then open the Document Properties dialog. Click on the "Initial View" tab, check the "Hide tool bars" option under "User Interface Options".
    2. Save the PDF and then close it. With Acrobat using the new UI model, open the PDF a second time, the "All Tools" side bar is displayed. Expected behaviour: the All Tools toolbar should not be shown as per the User Interface Option settings.

  8. When I use acrobat, I often need to navigate in the menu with all the tools so it is conviennent for me to have this menu open all the time. But the new menu is taking to much space in my screen, I wish I can see (maybe has an option) only the icons. There was a option like this in the previous interface. (picture 1 = the menu that I speak of)

I try to put all the function that I used in those tools in my «tool bar» but it become way too big for function that I…

  9. Since the Adobe Acrobat Update in December with version 23.008.2042x, our
    coworkers reporting Adobe Acrobat crashes.

    Steps to reproduce the issue:
We found out, it is only, when opening the pdf and click instant a linked document (another pdf) on a fileshare, so that you hover the link, it does not display the full URL.

    Expected result:
Opening the hyperlink / another document.

    Observed result
If you wait around 3-5 seconds, and the mouse hover shows the full link, than Adobe does not crash, and asks with security dialog, if you want to open this file.

    All affected Users have…

  10. Unbelievable how Adobe can render their software more and more miserable over decades and finally totally ruin it. This Acrobat Kindergarten Thing is utterly unusable. Not that this wasn't to be expected:

Acrobat DC SO HORRIBLE it's making me want to cry:
    https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/acrobat-dc-so-horrible-it-s-making-me-want-to-cry/m-p/7112345

The latest incarnation, in addition to the completely unusable user interface, is so unbearably slow that Adobe can just throw the whole mess in the trash and start completely over. This is the worst and lamest bloatware I have ever witnessed.

  11. Changes to the toolbar that would actually be useful — allow users to choose the positions of each button they want in the toolbar (preferably by drag & drop); give the option to show/hide labels for the buttons; provide for at least 2 rows of quick tools, and for small and large buttons. Allow the user to decide where the thumbnail and bookmark panes are positioned — left, right, or even below then document pane. I hope the new Acrobat Pro changes to these features are short-lived — they are going the wrong direction.

  13. The scale of the ruler is wrong. When I open an A4 PDF, the scale shows a width of nealy 230 mm. The grid (which is activated by Ctrl-U) is correct, but not as useful as the ruler.

  14. Use the vMail Outlook Duplicate Remover Tool to get rid of duplicate emails from Outlook files. Outlook files, both multiple and single, can have duplicate emails eliminated without the use of an email client. This program makes it easy to locate and eliminate duplicate emails from Outlook PST files. Duplicate data is eliminated from Outlook PST files using this application. Anyone can use this software because it is so simple to use. All Windows OS versions are supported by this application.

  15. Right click, the icons at the top of the box for page rotate and crop result in an error message "Acrobat has encountered a problem. Some features may not work as expected." Others also result in this error message, it is VERY common. Accepting this via "OK" button causes a blank pop-up window to appear. To what point? It's blank!

These are silly errors that should have been sorted before this was released (and no one has bothered to fix). Users are being used as guinea pigs! If it's a beta release than users should have been told. Reality is…

  16. In the most recent update, the footer area where the page size is displayed when the 'always show page size' option is ticked in prefs is hidden.

if the option is unticked then on hover the page size appears, but the more useful permanent view has been broken.

Please reinstate or allow a rollback

  17. I want to suggest a couple of tweaks to the new Acrobat UI design that I want to see incorporated soon. First, I would like to see the placements of the tool and sidebars reversed; as an English language user, I feel it is more intuitive to make the most frequently used options on the sidebar near the beginning of the document, on the left side of the screen. Secondly, I would love to see the bug altering my preferences for documents every time I close the app and launch it again removed. It is very frustrating in light of…

  18. Was there a reason for putting everything along all three sides and making it difficult to find the "settings" option? At least when everything was along the top and tools on one side, it was easy to use and I could find everything I needed quickly. This new format is frustrating.

  20. In the new layout, the quick button section is customizable, but you cannot move your added values to the top of the list. So, what good is it?? You should make it so that "I The User" can have the items in the order I want them, thereby allowing me to have the "Most" used items at the top of the list!
