  2. Adobe Acrobat Pro DC open a few files and if you close them and later export and open a new .pdf from any program, including Indesign or Illustrator, the program starts and than closes immediately. There no show of error message. After this, the Acrobat will not open any file until you restart the computer (mac or pc).

    All steps on forums was tryed, with no effect, including this link: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-crashes-on-windows-os.html

    Already try open the task manager and stop services to them open Acrobat again. No effect. Sometimes, open a error message, that was send a million times.

  3. Currently, Adobe Acrobat Pro DC is not 100% ADA compliant. Specifically, one cannot create or edit PDFs if one uses a screen reader to navigate around their computer screen (i.e. is blind/visually impaired). I currently use JAWS 2018, Windows 10, and have Acrobat Pro DC. I've attempted to create and edit from combining PDFs, using copies, etc. I've even tried using some of your tutorial items to test with and have had the same results (ex. Bodea's Brochure -- the brochure your website tutorial has specifically for practicing editing).

  4. Text spontaneously disappears after leaving the page and scrolling back to it. The text fields still exists and some letters stay visible, but the other letters have disappeared.

    I am sorry for the inconvenience you are facing.
    Can you share with us the acrobat version and the operating system you are using
    Also some sample PDFs with which you are facing this issue.

  5. Repeatedly, when trying to fill in US Internal Revenue Service forms in Acrobat DC Standard, I get a "bad file handle" message, and am unable to save the completed form. This did not happen with earlier versions of Adobe Acrobat and does not happen if I open the files in Acrobat Reader DC rather than the full version of Acrobat DC. I am using Windows 10.

  6. The icon for Adobe Acrobat DC, is (for me) a blank piece of paper. This happens with no other Adobe apps but with Acrobat and it is really displeasing not knowing where to click in the task bar. Please fix it! :)

  7. For legal and compliance reasons, my industry often requires large numbers of items (50+) to be available in our dropdown fields.

    These items often require review and/or quick corrections/edits, and it can be very frustrating to scan for the needed item in the list when the display box can only view 4 or 5 items at a time.

    It is also a frustration when the horizontal length of a field is longer than the box size.

    Allowing the box to be dragged at the corner to increase the x and y lengths would be a small but tremendously helpful ui…

  8. Drag and Drop has stopped working in Page thumbnail.

    Cannot rearrange pages in page thumbnail.

    Cannot drag pages from other pdf's that are also open.

    I Tried this at my end and Drag drop in Page Thumbnails panel in a pdf / across pdfs is working fine for me.

  10. DUPLICATE SUBMISSION WITH ATTACHMENT EXAMPLES
    The Acrobat Reader DC basic version has a very helpful "Save as" function where it brings up a user friendly window with 4-5 recently used folders, as well as the option to then browse further for another folder if needed. the Adobe Acrobat DC PRO version has a very different, very limited "save as" usability, where it defaults to a temp internet folder (that i cannot even find), which i will almost certainly never use as well. As far as i can tell there is no way to set a different default save as location…

    Hi,

    If you wish to see the Save As dialog in Acrobat as per the “Save as ok” image shared by you, Kindly do as follows.
    1) Open Acrobat → Edit → Preferences → General
    2) Select the Checkbox “Show online storage when Saving files”

    Try to Save as any pdf and check that you’ll see this dialog.
    Let me know if that solves your concern.

    Also please let me know the current version of Acrobat DC that you are using.

  11. The software is so incredibly buggy - any attempt to share makes the software crash. Cannot share files saved in document cloud or elsewhere, share via e-mail (with outlook Mac) causes crash, share via document cloud causes crash, attempts to access address book to share via native adobe app causes crash. Why can't I just drag files stored in the document cloud into an e-mail or message - this is the easiest way to share. Share/collaboration is literally unusable in acrobat DC - WHY?! Our entire team may have to move away from the entire Adobe platform if this is…

  14. Why the are you interrupting my workflow with fing pop ups that not only have I NO INTEREST in whatsoever and they've just crashed the fing application. Stop trying to push me in the direction of the cloud - if I wanted to go there I would sort it out myself. And I don't want you 'reaching out' to me. Just turn it off by default.

  15. What's the best way to resolve this?
    Update failed. "Problem with licensing module"?

    Uninstall Acrobat Pro DC from the CC Desktop App and reinstall?
    Tried to use the Update feature in the Help menu of Acrobat Pro DC and that failed.

  16. Where did the zoom tools go? They used to be visible in the main tool bar... I mean, I get there are other ways to zoom in and out of my pdf, but why remove such a common functionality? Please bring them back.

    Hi,

    Thanks for Reaching out to us for your concerns.
    We have not removed the zoom tools from the main toolbar and those are already there.

    I assume you might have undocked the Toolbar so you may be getting a black floating window over the document area which would be having the zoom tools.

    I would request you to kindly Dock it back to the Main toolbar by clicking the rightmost icon from that floating window.

    Also, if this is not the case i would request you to kindly do a right click on your main toolbar and select “Reset Toolbar” from the context menu. (This way your main toolbar will get back to the default state which would anyways be having the Zoom tools.

  17. Why can't i talk to an expert about the issues I'm having? All the tutorials are much too basic and scrolling through all the reams of posts is exhausting and never results in an answer. I need advice on how to save a pdf. file with radio buttons and fillable sections so i can send it to a client for completion. Why is there no detailed best practice on how to use pre-flight so that forms work for your clients?

  18. Acrobat DC (continuous release) crashes itself and Chrome and Edge whenever trying to "Save" or "Save as" a PDF downloaded.
    Also crashes itself when trying to save PDF from Outlook email attachment. This has been going on for several weeks.

  20. I really do not appreciate starting work and finding a whole new update unexpectedly when I have work to do! I do not have auto updates on and was not even signed into Adobe. Please stop updating without warning!
