Toolbar Personalization
I rarely comment on product updates because my life is crazy busy and I don't want to waste my time. In fact, I've only ever opined on such matters maybe three times in my life, and I'm middle aged. Hopefully, that clarifies how strongly I feel about this.
I absolutely HATE that I cannot personalize my toolbar. I hate not being able to dock it. I have forms that I use in my job, and I loved have immediate access to "Save As" so as to leave my original intact and not oversave it by accident. Yes, I realize I…14 votes -
Snapshot tool
Make the snap shot camera tool available again. I always need to make clear images out of PDFs for our web page. By removing the Snapshot tool there is NO WAY TO MAKE SHARP IMAGES THAT MEET OUR REQUIREMENTS! Put the Snapshot tool back or tell me where the _____ it is hiding in the latest versions of Acrobat.

Top file bar order should mirror file system order if group of files selected
Top file bar order should mirror file system order if group of files selected. By the way, the login procedure for new users does not work. Is this a phishing site?
File order is randomized.

New Toolbar Suggestion
Former versions of Acrobat (I believe versions 10 and below), prior to Acrobat DC, had the capability of showing tools on two rows at the top of the document pane and suggest consideration for returning to that type of user interface.
The lack of colorization of icons in DC, the basic shapes and the inability to show nearly all tools in the toolbar makes it very difficult and time consuming to edit and markup documents. Detailed, colorized tool icons of old, combined with the ability of truly customizable, multiple toolbars would make Acrobat much more productive.
Is there any way…

Measuring Tool Keeps Disappearing
Why-oh-why does the measuring tool keep disappearing from my toolbar list down the right hand side of my screen.
I want it to stay there with all the other tools that stay there by default.
Why do you keep messing with an interface that should just work when I am signed in?2 votes -
Portfolio View
In the new adobe UI/Update July 2022, I like the feature of order of the PDF files in a portfolio, However it misses the option of a quick view of the individual pdf in a portfolio like in the previous version. I didnt find an option to preview the a PDF in a portfolio without opening the individual document.

Quit ******* with the UI
Quit ****** around with the user interface! It takes a valuable amount of time to RELEARN where the **** everything is. Then after 4-5 months of ******** at your screen because you don't use it every day, you finally get where everything is. Then the next big update the **** cycle starts over!

Change Scale in New Adobe
New abode has made it nearly impossible to change the scale on the measuring tool. It is no longer a simple right click. You have to make a random measurement and hope and pray that when you right click next, the option to change scale shows up. This is a ridiculous change that needs to be addressed.

hate terrible abysmal awful childish worst ever poor slow buggy interface rubbish sucks dysfunctional fire
Glad I'm not alone. I'm a former Ux designer for a CAD company. The user interface is the absolute worst experience I've ever encountered. Take a hint from Blue Beam and design a ribbon, or get out of the business. Attached is just a tiny example. Extracting a page from a document, and I see TWO dialog boxes? On top of not being able to find anything related to production/markups, it's constantly freezing, and Task Manager in Windows is my only friend at that point.

The new look of Adobe Acrobat Pro is not user friendly
Please keep the classic look of Adobe Acrobat Pro. The new, bare bones look is very unattractive and not user friendly at all.

Fixed position of bookmarks to right side of page
The engineers for New Adobe forgot that people don't just use Adobe to create and manipulate documents -- the other half of the equation is that the documents are also going to be READ. This New Adobe puts the bookmarks on the right side of the page with no option to switch the view to how people actually read which is left to right. SO FRUSTRATING. I won't be able to use New Adobe ever if you leave it this way.

Stop Updating the Program
Please stop updating the program in such a difficult way that is almost impossible to determine were the functions are. Additionally this updates take A LOT of the screen view of the document when searching for tools. I have to use this every single day for work and constant document stamping and certifications. I do not have time to sit down and learn the entire layout of the program every time one of your developers feels like "impressing" his/her superior. STOP! We are paying for this! Might as well start printing documents and work on them manually. What a shame!

Bug - Acrobat Reader crashing; Lost an ability to move a tab (document) into a separate window
Need this feature back, when moving a tab out of the window, to open it up in a new window.
This was very useful, to allow side-by-side comparisons.

Allow for changing sidebar default behavior
Sidebars used to have ability to be hidden by default, but now cannot be; please bring this feature back. I work with many drawings saved as PDF in landscape layout, and with the sidebars automatically open at start the files are always shrunk to fit-to-width, which means my workflow is impacted by needing to close these side bars every time the files are open.

One-click access to full-screen mode
I use Acrobat to present .pdf presentations. Really only feature I need is full-screen mode. I can access it with two clicks under "Fit one page within the window" menu from the bottom part of the right side menu. Full-screen mode being such key feature, I think it deserves a one-click solution.
