  2. Hello, I'm sending you this writing to complain about something annoying things. I'm trying to make an important request.

I was taking a class at Acrobat DC and taking notes on the document. I accidentally forgot to press exit and couldn't save it.

Funny thing is, I don't think it's going to be a big problem because I usually have automatic storage set up every five minutes.

In 2020, the normal auto-save function means that when you close a file, it's saved right away.

But that was my naive illusion, so your automatic storage function was just temporary storage that…

  4. I believe I have found a rather interesting bug. When using the Remove Web Links function in Acrobat DC on this document, it tells me 41 hyperlinks are removed. However, two hyperlinks remain. www.Flyways.us (page 3) and www.Fws.gov/duckstamps (page 5). If I go to add/edit links I get no bounding box for either of those links, but if I exit out of editing mode, they can still be clicked. If I delete the text and type it back in, the links disappear - BUT - if I then save it, close, and reopen - they are back again.

  9. I am running Adobe Acrobat Pro DC version 2019.021.20061 on a MacBook Pro with Catalina version 10.15.04. In the Adobe Acrobat preferences I have autosave set to every 5 minutes. However, when Adobe Acrobat decided to restart for me to agree to some updated user terms all my comments on the document disappeared. From a quick google search it is clear that this is a common problem and that the autosave feature is not working, or at least only occasionally.

  10. Give the ability to set defaults in the Split function of Adobe DC. I always split by "Top Level Bookmarks" and Output using the Bookmark names for file names. Since I (and my team) do this for multiple files every day, having to reset those parameters every time you want to split a file is really unhelpful and a waste of time. Given that Adobe is a massive time saver, this would help even more.
I get that is how I do it, but not how everyone does it, so the ability to update just my defaults would be helpful.

  11. The redact tool was updated in Acrobat DC.Now when I go to redact a blueprint and apply the changes, it makes the entire file a little blurry. This never happened before. Anyone else experience this in the new update?

  13. Bug report

Latest Acrobat DC Pro version (20.009.20063) has introduced a bug where the button "Combine files in Acrobat" in Windows right click context menu does not work as expected. Seemingly randomly it stops working - clicking on the context menu option does nothing, no error. After a restart to the system it works again, but just for some time. Unfortunately I do not know if it is after a certain time or some action that it stops working.

I went back one version (to 20.006.20042) and it works without problems.

This is on Windows 10 (1909).

  14. PLEASE bring back the ALIGN OBJECTS function. STOP removing key features. Do you actually use the product. How would you even consider removing this feature?

DOES ANYONE in adobe product management have a reason for this RIDICULOUS move. You should all be ashamed of yourselves!

  15. When editing a document, adobe always suggest Minion Pro as the editing font.
Adobe should suggest the most closely associated font to the fonts of the documents being edited.
I waste hours and hours to find the font.
I AM SICK OF MINION PRO, PLEASE JUST DELETE THAT FONT, and bring in the capability of suggesting the correct font.

  16. In Acrobat Acrobat, when one extracts pages from a large file the extracted page seems to retain an incredible amount of unnecessary data. The result is often a single page PDF document that is nearly as large as the full source file. If there is not already a simple fix for this I am unaware of, it would be fantastic if Acrobat would only extract the data for the page(s) being extracted in the new file.

  17. I have OCR'd a lot of old newspapers. I have made the OCR and I want do edit the results. So I have my bit-map picture behind the text I want to edit. When I delete some text ans save my job, the part of the bitmap picture I have OCR'd is also deleted (or is invisible). Is it possible to delete text in a OCR'd document and keep the part of the bitmap picture visible? I am using Acrobat Pro 2017 since my Mac pro doesn't support Acrobat DC (10.12 required). 19. Some documents don't use conventional page numbering, especially multi-language instruction manuals. Acrobat DC gives an "Invalid page range" error when trying to delete a range of pages. You should be able to delete pages no mater how the creator numbers them. You have to do a work-around by holding the Ctrl key and highlighting every other page, then you can delete multiple pages. This is time-consuming.
