  2. I'd like to be able to enter in one fillable field "FirstName MiddleName LastName" and have it auto populate 3 fields for First, Middle, and Last. Or enter into one fillable field 123456789 and have it auto populate three fields with 123, 456, and 789. I've been searching for a script to do that and can't find anything.

  4. I work for a municipality. I have to create numerous fillable forms that are posted online. A few years ago, Adobe had no problem turning these forms, created in either “LaTeX” or MS Word, into fillable forms. However, that is no longer so. Adobe is now unable to recognize “squares” or “boxes” used as checkboxes. This is a significant problem. Some of my forms have dozens or more checkboxes. Creating each one manually is a real chore.

There is no logical reason for this failure by Adobe. It did work correctly a few years ago. I am perfectly willing to…

  5. I have been marketing my PDF forms with many graphics and buttons for about 8 years. The bugs caused by the switch to DC years ago was not backwards compatible—but eventually fixed.

The latest update to DC is acting very oddly. There has always been a lag for screen redraw but now my machine is “bouncing” and it takes several minutes to enter text in a simple line with 4 fields.

I rebuilt the form with less graphics with no luck. I’m working on a Mac with the newest iOS and newest version of DC. Any suggestions?

  6. Acrobat needs to be reinstalled to solve this issue. I had to call Adobe to reinstall. When I try to reinstall I get error 136. Once installation is complete issue is fixed.

This is the second time this has happened.
I have scripts that I reuse in JavaScript Editors for example Properties/Format/Custom/Custom keystroke script. When I try to paste the script nothing happen. It is fixed now as I reinstalled acrobat. Last time it worked for a month or so. Will see what happens this time. Hope it doesn't happen again.

  7. This bug is only for reversed out text, and only happens when Indd files are placed into another Indd file, before the PDF is exported.

The PDF is fine, until you go to program editable fields, at which point the hyphens and apostrophes all disappear. (This only happens for white text).

  8. When a PDF form is seen on line or in a web browser there is a light blue background in fields , buttons etc. For what I use PDFs for (educational material ) it makes them unusable online which is a shame. It would be nice to disable this feature so that this is not seen

  10. I recently updated my Adobe license and noted that the new version no longer provides the 'Actions', 'Format', 'Validate' and 'Calculate' options when I create a new form. Have these functionalities been removed or am I not finding them?

  13. It would be so convenient especially for contracts with long lists of terms and conditions, to have the signer enter their group name as an answer in a text field, and be able to insert that text field of their group name as needed throughout the multi-line scrolling text field.

  15. I talked to support today about this issue and they too could not explain it. Fills forms being rounded and added together is a crucial part of my job and I'm finding that oftentimes the rounding is incorrect by .01, often because is was incorrectly added after the rounding process.

I know Adobe has the ability to round numbers in the fill forms to a specific number of Decimal places, but what I am sort of seeing is that it doesn't matter what rounding you use, Adobe adds the raw numbers (Which defeats the purpose of rounding).

    I have attached…

  16. Acrobat DC 21.005.20048 (Win10):
    Actions taken:
    - Starting a PDF Form from scratch
    - Adding text with text-tool
    - Adding text-field
    - Adding checkbox
    Result:
Text and any other object cannot be selected at the same time, neither by box-select nor by SHIFT or CTRL.
Text does not appear in "Fields" list and can thus also not be selected there.
    - Cannot align text with fields or other objects
(Different text selected does not even promt the alignment-options)
    - Cannot move text with fields

    Proposal:
    - Make text selectable together with fields
    - Create a "label" object, which acts like…

  17. Is it possible to rewrite the code so the header can show CUI in the header (ie, “CUI-Privacy/SP”)
instead of Privacy\General Privacy-Specified which is currently showing and non-compliant with NARA requirements?

  18. Not only does Acrobat need a Dark Mode, it needs to be compatible with fillable forms. Bright white screens are ******* the eyes, and it's not fair to our eyeballs to change the fillable forms box to BLACK whenever we change to custom colors to ease the glare from the screen. We can't see what we're typing, We need this feature!

  19. Version and system information at the bottom.

    Here's a potential bug that I found:
    1. Change a radio button name.
    2. Save and close the PDF.
    3. Reopen the PDF.
    4. Observe that the radio button name is missing.

This is driving me crazy because I have validation set up to make sure all the form fields are filled in properly. I can't do that if the radio button name is missing.

  20. Sign has the ability to create web forms, I'd like to see a feature that is the same but with no signature or certification - just a form that is distributable by link, gets filled out, the responses go to my account, and I can download and edit the document the same as any other PDF. With all the same fields (INCLUDING REQUIRED FILE UPLOAD) as sign except certified signature. Needed to be able to manage form submissions and attachments without the red tape of Sign
