  1. Expandable fields in Acrobat DC/Pro especially since users are not able to print all text content from scrollable field boxes.

Expandable fields in Acrobat DC/Pro is a necessity especially since users are not able to print all text content from scrollable field boxes. LiveCycle is transitioning out to Adobe Experience manager and this feature should be included within Acrobat DC/Pro in order to provide a smooth transition. It is a feature request that I've seen on message boards for quite a few years. Please take this into consideration.

    Thank you!

  3. Initials Feature Disappeared

Until recently you could prepare a form and ask for initials in Acrobat Pro DC. This needs to be reinstated to the application or added to Adobe sign. I use forms regularly that require fields to be initialed and now I cannot request verifiable initials through either method.

  4. Why is there an Edit Text & Images tool in Prepare Form?

In Prepare Form, why can't I use the Select Object Tool to select multiple fields with a marquee anymore? I've always used it in the past but every time I use it now, it automatically switches to Edit Text & Images, which I don't want it to do. This change supposed to be an "improvement" in the most recent update of Acrobat DC, but it has made my job both harder and take longer. Evidently, there's no way turn off Edit Text & Images when you're in Prepare Form, so you're just stuck editing fields without using a marquee to…

  6. How to split/merge PDF files?

Many users face corruption issues due to the large size of PDF files. Once the size of PDF files exceeded beyond a limit, they get corrupted very easily. There are some other factors as well which lead to corruption in PDF.

So, if you are fed up with the large size of PDF files and want to get rid of it then use the PDF merge tool. Basically, the Merging is done to reduce the size of PDF files.

The tool merges multiple PDF files in just a few seconds and a user can merge bulk PDF files.

When a form is filled out and returned, the text does not appear when opened with Adobe. The text does appear when opened with any other app.

  10. AcroForms VBA plugin does not correctly populate checkboxes when form contains XFA

Or rather, it populates the checkboxes correctly as far as the PDF side goes: it sets the /V and /AS of the checkbox objects in /Fields correctly, but it doesn't set the XFA side accordingly, whereas it does for text fields. In the Acrobat window the checkboxes show as correctly marked until I close the file. When I reopen the file with Acrobat or Reader, it gets its display information from the XFA, not from the /Fields (and that may be the real bug here), and so doesn't show the checkboxes as marked.

  12. deleting pdf files

I am a sports photographer. Mostly tennis. I might take 200 photos of a particular player. My intention is to sell the images to the players/parents. I have to send a PDF file of all the images for them to look at. When I send the file they may just copy the images, regardless of the fact I have put a logo over the images. Some people are happy with that. Some just keep the images with the logo over the top. It means I do not get paid. I want to be able to send a file that deletes…

  14. [BUG] Filled form-field contents only visible after clicking into the form-field when receiving a filled out form from Mac Users

When a docx is saved as a PDF (by Microsoft Word 2019 MSO (16.0.12624.20348) 64bit) and form-fields are added in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 2020.006.20042, and the resulting PDF with formfields is then filled out and saved using Preview.app 2020.006.20042 on a Mac, the resulting PDF hides the filled out content of form-fields. Clicking into the filled form field reveals the contents. The PDF renders fine in other PDF viewer implementations.

    Steps to reproduce:
    1. Create an empty word document and save it as a PDF.
    2. Open the PDF with Adobe Acrobat Pro DC and add a form field …

  16. keep form editing and text editing separate please

After last update, there is a change in how creating form is working. Form editing (creatin) now contain text edit, which is for me higly unwanted feature, since there is no turn on/off. I am editing 30+ fields in once and selecting all of them is impossible. My form has lot of text boxes and while creating pdf, i dont need them to edit anymore. I just want to edit form fields. Once you mouse down or mouse up on any text, it will ruin the multiple select of fields and start editing text. We are using old version becasue…

  18. DROPDOWN PRINTING BUG

    Hi everyone...

I've made 2 dropdown boxes with a list of name to choose from.
I named the boxes in different ways but the list of names is the same in both the boxes.
PROBLEM: when I see the print preview in the two boxes it appears the same choice, even if I made two different choices from the dropdown boxes.
If I save the PDF file and I open it with other software, the choice is correct and even the print preview its correct. But in Adobe Reader/Acrobat the boxes show the same name so it is impossible to…

  19. Inability to properly allign and spread text labels with text fields is a simple user requirement.

The hefty subscription price for Adobe Acrobat Pro DC is very soon realized when you discover how many hours you have to spend (and the money lost in that time) to redo text labels because that persistently group together in awkward ways and are of no help when trying to align form objects. How do you provide the ability to align and spread properly for text fields, but not text labels? This is old tech that is just slapped onto newer products. But who cares...

  20. fillable forms

Trying to create a fillable form that anyone can fill and send back however half the people who receive it can't fill it in, depending on what programs they have on their computer I guess..? How can I create a fillable form that everyone can fill out on their phone/computer without requiring specific programs to do it?
