Cannot Install Reader DC and Acrobat Pro DC so as to Preview Forms
Our Enterprise Developers use Acrobat to create and publish forms. In order to verify the forms before publication they used to use Reader so they could see the form as a user would see and interact with the form, making adjustments as needed. They can no longer do this as Acrobat Pro DC prevents the installation of Reader DC. This needs to change ASAP

insert new page form
I would like to suggest a feature where a customer can select a "Add New" button.
this feature will then insert information based on what the creator has selected.
E.g. New Page (Page will be hidden from view until this option is selected)I currently have an order form where customers specify how they want their product to be fitted using a diagram with reference points and numbers. However with jobs requiring multiple items, I am currently having to send them multiple documents for each product. rather than have the option to add a second page to form where they…

Add Image/Photo Capture Field to Forms
I want my customers to be able to fill out an Adobe Form on an iPad with a feature to capture a photo of their ID. Currently there is not an image/photo capture field that can be included in the form. just the ability to add a photo to a form in the design.

Required form fields don't seem to work when the user saves, or prints
If a required field is not completed, it seems logical the user should not be able to save or print the form, and there should be a prompt to complete required information

Installing Acrobat Pro plus Acrobat Reader is a necessity
PDF forms developpers needs to test their forms (created with Acrobat Pro) with Acrobat Reader, so we need to have Acrobat Pro AND Acrobat Reader on the same computer.
Preventing us from doing so is a nonsense that forces us to use competing software (Foxit or PDF Studio).

event.target.buttonImportIcon(); - is it possible to modify to allow jpegs to be placed using Reader
When we add an image field in Acrobat pro and then save as reader (for client use) they cannot replace the image with a jpeg (normal format for pics) - can the java script be amended to allow this. Annoying as we can only create documents to be opened with Reader with editable text fields at the moment as editable image fields dont seem to work (unless the pic is a pdf and clients struggle with this). Any advice/ideas/workarounds appeciated. DP

The ability to protect a fillable document while allowing the fillable sections to still be filled
When creating office documents that involve questionnaires, there is a need for those fillable spots to still be made fillable while locking the rest of the document so the "original" words don't get changed.

Field properties usually only show 4 tabs. It's not clear how to add tabs for "Validate" and "Calculate". Using Adobe Acrobat DC.
Please provide instructions for how to open the missing "Validate" and "Calculate" tabs.

Mac Only - PDF Form Fields Turned On/Off via Check Box do not highlight after specific fields have been changed to different field types
Hello,
The following issue appears to be Mac specific. This is not an issue on Windows machines, as all of my testing on multiple machines suggest it's only on Mac's.
The short story:
On Mac's only, changing a text field format in Acrobat Pro DC (ex - changing to a date field) causes the field highlighting to no longer work on those fields that have been adjusted, and are fields that are shown/hidden based on checking/unchecking a check box.
The long story:
I recently have been trying to troubleshoot a relatively minor issue that I can replicate when creating form…

Data Matrix Barcode doesn't work with German special chars like äöüߧ
I want to use a Data Matrix Barcode field in a form in Acrobat Forms, like I do in LiveCycle Designer ES4. But here I get into trouble: DM-Barcode doesn't encode the German special chars! I get weird encodings instead of the char. The same entry in a QR-Code-Field works as expected!
Because ist works fine in LiveCycle Designer and in the QR-Code I assume this is a bug.
I found no solution to finetune the field to become German-friendly ;-)
I attach a quick and simple example-form (for use in Acrobat, not Reader, of course).1 vote -

Enter into one fillable field "FirstName MiddleName LastName" & have it auto populate 3 fields for First, Middle, and Last
I'd like to be able to enter in one fillable field "FirstName MiddleName LastName" and have it auto populate 3 fields for First, Middle, and Last. Or enter into one fillable field 123456789 and have it auto populate three fields with 123, 456, and 789. I've been searching for a script to do that and can't find anything.

Users need a functioning switch between external JS editor and Mac OS
Javascript is essential to all but the most basic pdf forms. In the 10 years that I have subscribed to Acrobat Pro for Mac, Acrobat Pro has never worked with an external javascript editor. It will most often open a script in an external editor but will NEVER permit the user to resume work in Acrobat when the editor is closed: Acrobat always - no exceptions - freezes at that point and must be forced to quit, then reopened. Users have complained about this for years. Adobe will sometimes blame Apple. Adobe never solves the problem and does not appear…

Blinking Forms
Form endlessly blinks, the text does not show properly as you are typing, very slow if you try to suffer through and use it anyway (color wheel appears after a few clicks). This is only an issue on my new MacBook Pro (M1 with Big Sur). My 2015 iMac with Catalina does not have the same issue.

Issue with fillable form fields pasting scripts from Microsoft word
Acrobat needs to be reinstalled to solve this issue. I had to call Adobe to reinstall. When I try to reinstall I get error 136. Once installation is complete issue is fixed.
This is the second time this has happened.
I have scripts that I reuse in JavaScript Editors for example Properties/Format/Custom/Custom keystroke script. When I try to paste the script nothing happen. It is fixed now as I reinstalled acrobat. Last time it worked for a month or so. Will see what happens this time. Hope it doesn't happen again.1 vote -
Date Format Bug
doug815
New Here , Nov 24, 2021I am working on a form inserting the date. I was hoping to add the day of the week with the date format. I checked on the format and went to the custom selection and inserted dddd mm/dd/yyyy. The hurdle I am trying to get past is, when I go to select a date, I receive a javascript error message telling me that it is the incorrect format that I should use dddd mm/dd/yyyy. I am JavaScript challenged, LOL. Am I missing a setting somewhere or something? Any guidance or assistance would be…
