  3. Printing to Adobe PDF - add the 'Append' option to print-append new file to existing file.

Adobe Acrobat DC desperately needs an 'Append' feature.
    - When we do invoicing, we print the invoice to a PDF file, then pay the invoice and have a payment receipt from the bank. This gets combined with the original invoice file (appended) and saved for accounting and records.
    - With Nitro Pro, this was super-simple. We simply made the first PDF then when we printed the second file (the receipt file) to a pdf we selected the first file and got a dialog box asking if we wanted to 'replace' or 'append' the new file to the existing one. Select…

  4. Extra line on a Japanese character that only gets printed and viewed on Adobe Acrobat

When viewing or trying to print the attached P1L1S1.pdf there is a character that is shown in the second image attached, that has an extra gray line visible only at certain zoom - like 400% - or when printed.

The issue is that the same file is printed and looks alright with other PDF viewers and editors - the only software with this issue is Adobe Reader one.

Can you please review this and let me know the cause?

    Thank you!

  5. Error

When I clicked on my PDF it came in backwards. Had to rotate it. But when I hit print it printed a blank page. Have no idea why.

  6. Make the Print dialog box simpler

The print dialog is too complicated. Please go back to using the platform dialog, and allow users to choose the advanced features if needed. There's way too much information to wade through.

I'm using Acrobat Pro 2020, but it was the same with the free version. On a Mac.

    thanks

  7. Print to PDF on a Mac

    PRINT TO PDF
I dont want a save PDF. I need to print to pdf. There are XML based documents that are NOT able to be saved to a PDF and I need to be able to mark them up, annotate, make notes.

I pay $600/yr for your suite and you can't manage to keep features consistent across platforms?

You have it for PC's, but not for Mac? The platform preferred by most creatives worldwide?

  8. Make print options available when converting powerpoint to pdf

    Hello,

Our company recently moved to SharePoint and we have our libraries synced to our Adobe Acrobat app. My process beforehand was typically to open the PPT I wanted to convert to PDF, and select print to pdf. This would allow me to select slides per page and other such features.

Now my process is to navigate to the PPT i wish to convert, click on it, and select "Create PDF." (image1) This defaults to 1 page per slide and does not allow any such customization. Clicking on "Advanced Settings" doesn't include print options. (image2)

    Clicking "Create", creates the PDF…

  9. Increasing the font of sticky notes when printing

I have PDFs slides which I use for presentation(s). I have added sticky notes to the document for my reference. However, I find it hard to read the pre-defined font when printing these along with my slides on one page for utility and preparation. I would like the flexibility of adjusting this font as I am finding it hard to reach in such small lettering/fonts after printing.

  12. Print by PDF Page source

After updating Mac os to Big Sur, the program does not print documents by page source. When printing a mixed-size document Adobe is only printing by the Legal size and not printing the document in its original format. Print by PDF page source is checked and Adobe worked until the update.

  16. Multi-tasking when printing

I have noticed that with the version I have now (2020.013.20066), That I cannot print one document and the move to the next tab to print, edit or manage that document at all. While the printing is active, one is basically locked out from the app until the printing is complete.

This seems pretty odd as the app is obviously made to multi-task, as is the OS (in my case Windows 10) and printer (queue). Whether this has been done on purpose, or is a bug, I am not sure, so you will have to decide for yourselves if this…

  17. Get rid of the artifacts in Distiller PDF's

PDF's created with Acrobat & Distiller leave unwanted artifacts that can be seen in most PDF preview apps, specially email programs & also Reader. This prevents our customers from approving our PDF's. However, PDF's created from Illustrator do NOT have these visible artifacts. Our work flow is built around Distiller to create proofing PDF's & this is a PITA to do from Illustrator. In the attached file keylines of the logo can be seen thru the product

  18. Allow Duplex Printing for Duplex enabled Printers from DC

I can print in duplex from my Brother MFC-J835DW printer when printing from every other program I can think of and Adobe on the web, the fact that I cannot from Adobe DC when I pay to use this software? Get with it and join the 21st century, I ESPECIALLY want duplex capability in ADOBE as most large files and forms that require printing are typically shared as pdf files and I certainly don't want to be wasteful or kill excess trees, but it would certainly appear this isn't a concern of Adobe, noted guess it is time to look…

  20. Better control over printing booklets and signatures and imposing pages

I have a 400 pages pdf I want to print and bind myself using ten sheets in each signature. It is a big pain ********** when I have to print 20 pages at a time using the print booklet option.
Can not you create an option to make our lifes easier? I could choose and booklet option, number of pages per signature and happily wait for the printer to finish.
