    4. Should produce a clean, "normal" PDF made of text.

    5. Produces PDFs containing only the T1 font, which are not searchable, and the text cannot be selected. (It selects in tall blue lines - see screenshot.) Copying and pasting the text yields only gibberish.

  1. Today when I try to create a PDF from a word doc, I receive an error message when the word file opens that "windows cannot print due to a problem with the current printer setup."

I have not made any changes to my printer, printer drivers, word software or Adobe software.

I also get a similar error message when trying to create a PDF from a spreadsheet. Again, I haven't made any changes here.

What should I do? I am completely out of ideas.

    Thank you,
    Jim Ferrari

  2. Adobe Print To PDF - Only provides to options when it goes to print a file name that already exists. Either "overwrite without prompting" OR "prompt" which requires the user to manually enter a new file name. It should have an option to Add a Numeric Suffix if the file name already exists.

  5. Documents such as petitions are often numbered. This is so a set of identical documents assigned to different people can be tracked, to ensure that all pages are accounted for. Being able to print a unique sequential number in the footer of each page would be a tremendous enhancement. For example, if I were printing 500 pages of a 2-page document in duplex mode, I would want a serial number to appear on the footer of the first page in this sequence: 1001, 1002, 1003.....1499, 1500.

  6. When printing with Letter and Legal in the same document. Adobe prints everything on letter. When I select to print only the legal page Adobe prints on legal paper.

  7. Page 30 of the attached PDF does not print in booklet mode.

    Reproduce:
Print file using my samsung printer in booklet mode.

    Reproduce 2:
Print file using Microsoft Print to PDF in booklet mode.

    Adobe Acrobat Pro DC v2021.011.20039
    Windows 10 Home 21H1 build 19043.1466
    Printer: Samsung M262x 282x Series

    Expected result:
All pages in the PDF be printed in booklet mode.

    Observed result:
All pages except for page 30 were printed in booklet mode. Page 30 was left blank.

    Ways it DID work:
    * Use Adobe PDF printer in booklet mode.
    * Print page 30 in Size mode.

  11. We are a print and packaging company and use the Acrobat Upload feature in Outlook when sending proofs - It is awesome and saves a huge amount of time. Now I have been wanting to speed up the "Approval" time by contacting our clients which we send these links to, however I do not want to nag them thus I was thinking that if there was a download notification which gets sent once the client has downloaded the file - then we cold follow up as we know that they have downloaded the file but not approved it yet.

    Hope…

  14. I have 2 network printers. Acrobat always defaults to the first printer in the system printer list, not the one that is the actual default printer. All other apps, including photoshop recognize the system default. This is a bug that should be fixed!

  15. I am using MacOS Big Sur 11.6 and Acrobat Acrobat version 2021.007.20099.

The attached "Ful Score" PDF is displayed properly on the screen by Acrobat, but Acrobat prints it badly. I also included two screenshots, a *.png of Acrobat's display of the PDF (which looks OK) and a pdf produced by scanning a physical printout of that same PDF printed by Acrobat, which shows that Acrobat prints the file really badly.

The PDF was produced by Sibelius. I might say Sibelius was at fault for producing a bad PDF (probably with layers, but I'm not sure of the internals), except…

  16. Can an option be implemented that will allow portions of a file in "system protection" mode to be printed.

Currently to print files from the internet I seem to have to "enable All" features - whatever All features include in order to print many, if not all files.
Frequently I definitely do NOT want whatever links in the file and any other processes that could connect to other systems or get "stuff" from the internet, or possibly change settings on my system.
I just need a hard copy of a document - or maybe just a single page.

  17. Attempting to printing multiple files via Acrobat from Mac Finder only prints one document

    Steps:
    1. Select multiple PDF files in the finder
    2. Press Cmd-P to print them

Expected behavior: Acrobat opens and prints all documents

Actual behavior: Acrobat prints only one of the documents

  18. Please make a selection to define a standard printer.

I have two printers in use with my MacBook Pro.

    1x label printer

    1x inkjet printer

Adobe Acrobat always uses the label printer and not the default printer.

In the system settings, the default printer is the inkjet printer.

All programs, regardless of whether they are Office or system programs, recognize this device, but not Adobe.

  19. Cannot Print any PDF from Acrobat (Creative Cloud app). It says no pages are selected. I went to User Forum, but the fix there is outdated and not applicable to my OS. It did not work.
    This is a recent bug.
