Major dissapointment
I ABSOLUTELY do not like the new version of Acrobat Pro!!!!!!!!!! It is not user friendly at all!!!!!! Is there anyway to switch back to the old version? I use this program for my business on almost a daily basis. What used to take 5 minutes now takes me an hour just to find what used to be at my finger tips. PLEASE CHANGE IT BACK!!!!!!!

Need setting to Always Show Cover Page in Two Page View
I need every file to open in two-page view and show the cover page.
Currently, settings exist to make opening in two-page view the default, but no setting exists to always show the cover page in two-page view, or to make this the default open setting. Every time I open a file I have to go to View>Page Display>Show Cover Page in Two Page View.
Please add this setting to the Preferences>Page Display>Default Layout and Zoom section.

Users should have the option to keep the navigation panes (with bookmarks and page thumbnails) on the left
The new version of Acrobat moves tools to the left and navigation tools to the right without giving an option for users to customize the location. Having page navigation on the right is unergonomic because the natural reading order is left to right, and people click bookmark titles and page numbers before reading the page content. In books, the table of contents comes before the main content of the book, and you flip rightwards after choosing a chapter to read.
With navigation on the left, the tools would be on the right-hand side in the new version. This makes intuitive…

annotations
In the "new acrobat" interface, it is now very tedious to add annotations. It is two more clicks than in the old Acrobat (multiply that with thousands of annotations and you see the problem).
Please add the following functionality (available in "old acrobat"):
- When you have selected some text, and start typing, it will add the "replace text" annotation.
- When you place the text marker in the text, and start typing, it will add the "insert text" annotation.
Also:
* When you select some text, you get a little contextual toolbar pop-up. Please add a button for the "replace text"…1 vote -

It would be useful to see the zoom % without having to click on the 'Zoom In' or 'Zoom Out' buttons on the side panel. Also, when you click on the buttons, the zoom % changes and you cannot see what it was previously set to. I would like to see a 'Zoom %' button showing the current %.

Restrict ‘Save as pdf’ option for Encrypted/Do not forward emails
Description : We would like to restrict the ‘save as pdf’ option for Encrypted/Do not forward emails only.
Why the feature is needed : Currently we are able to use the ‘save as pdf’ option for Encrypted/Do not forward outlook emails - hence able to save and share the such emails to other users (who are not supposed to receive the info). Hence, we would need this restriction to eliminate the security gap.2 votes -
Acrobat UI
At every major update, the Acrobat Pro UI is getting more and more confusing. None of the standard OS behaviors are respected. I tried to modify the toolbar on Mac (version 2023.0001), impossible to move an icon anywhere.

Nesting Bookmarks Bug
There seems to be a problem with creating new bookmarks. I'm nesting the bookmarks as I create them in order to keep myself organized, considering this PDF is almost 800 pages long. I'm finding that if I nest my most-recently-created bookmark under another one, all future bookmarks I create are also nested under the same bookmark.
However, once I wish to move one of these newly-created bookmarks to the root level, that is to un-nest them, the only way I can do so is to move them to the top of the list. Even if I try to un-nest them…

Put the screen menu options back where they were and add the new features ther.
I am frustrated by the view or placement changes of the menu. It seems the menu items on the top left (save, print, tools, etc.) are now on the right and the items on the right (editing menu) are now on the left side. Automatically I go to the left to get something and find it has been moved and have to look on the right, I am searching back and forth all day, very frustrating. I like the new editing features, but just leave the menus where they were and where we are used to it being. Your new…

Upgrade System Interface/Page Numbering Too Complicated and Most Other Functions as well
Return to the previous version's interface. Reduce the additional steps added in new version and eliminate the over-complification of simple procedures. I just spent an hour trying to number my pages. I found the functions only after looking up on Google and searching for 20 minutes. But the windows themselves were absolutely NOT intuitive. I had to contact an agent. The first agent I got disconnected from. Bates numbering was made to appear as the only option, but the agent showed me how to find the plain numbers under header and footer on the edit toolbar. But via the previous…

Acrobat Mobile: Add config controls to disable file location options and to fully remove message to grant permission to Allow File Access.
When using a shared mobile device, we need to limit the visibility of previously accessed files by other users. This could be accomplished by removing access to the "On this device" option within Acrobat mobile.
Secondly if we could remove the system from requesting permission to the "All file access" so that permission couldn't be granted by the user afterward.
To summarize, here are the following requests for configuration options:
Remove the "allow access to your files to view, modify, and save PDFs" See attached image 1Featurerequest
The ability to hide "On this Device" as a file location selection. See…

Adobe not working after computer "sleep"
Everytime my computer goes to sleep, Acrobat DC "hangs up" and I'm forced to close the application and reopen files.
This seems like a new problem and an unnecessary glitch/inconvenience..2 votes -
Dynamic stamps in Adobe Cloud
Do you intend to develop the possibility to apply dynamic stamps directly from Adobe Cloud rather than from Adobe Acrobat DC or Reader in order to avoid extra manipulations ?

fill in form field button
-The new update has the "Fill in Form Field" button in a prominent place on the toolbar and it is the only text looking button in the default toolbar. Everyone in my design office mistakenly thought it was the text box tool and was extremely frustrated trying to redline documents. As designers, we do not use this software primarily for forms or even text documents, but for reviewing and commenting on drawings. Though I customized my toolbar and added what I need, it is not possible to remove the Fill in Form button from the tool bar, or even to…

Snapshot tool
Make the snap shot camera tool available again. I always need to make clear images out of PDFs for our web page. By removing the Snapshot tool there is NO WAY TO MAKE SHARP IMAGES THAT MEET OUR REQUIREMENTS! Put the Snapshot tool back or tell me where the _____ it is hiding in the latest versions of Acrobat.

This pdf form requires a newer version of Adobe Acrobat
When opening PDFs from various sources, I often receive a JS pop up stating "This pdf form requires a newer version of Adobe Acrobat...", in spite of having the latest version of Reader (23.008.20555 as of this post) installed. There are often multiple (as on 3-7+) popup dialogs that repeat this message whether OK or Cancel is pushed (the only difference being OK opens a browser window to redownload what I already have).
The PDFs in question are often generated by 3rd parties, E.G. Tax preparation software online. One such recent example used iText 2.0.7, which uses PDF version 1.5…

Zooming in bug, Windows
Zooming in with "ctrl" and "+" keeps cycling from 100% to 95% (ie, when zooming in one increment, Acrobat automatically and immediately zooms back out by the same increment).

不要每次開啟都預設展開「所有工具」側欄
不要每次開啟都預設展開「所有工具」側欄,九成以上情境用不到,非常佔位。建議提供選項讓使用者決定要不要展開。
Don’t expand the “All Tools” sidebar by default every time I open it. It will not be used in more than 90% of situations and takes up a lot of space. I'd recommend you to provide options for users to decide whether to expand or not.2 votes
