  1. I use Adobe to open up to hundreds of pdf files every day and the bookmarks menu keeps popping up every time i have closed the viewer window.
    I have gone in to Preferences -> Documents and turned on "Restore last view settings when reopening documents" but it doesent work.
    This is very annoying because i never use bookmarks.

  2. Please give an option to EASILY get rid of the AI Assistant (beta) feature. Ever since installing the latest update, my Acrobat Pro runs SUPER slowly. I don't actually need AI to read documents. I do need Acrobat to be able to scroll without freezing constantly. Otherwise, what's the point of paying for Acrobat when there are tools that scroll perfectly fine for free?

    The new UI is fine otherwise, but I had to disable it (View > Disable new Acrobat) just so I could scroll through documents without Acrobat freezing constantly since you added that AI Assistant feature.

  3. Way to ***** up the simplest stuff, Adobe. Now when I use Ctrl-F, it finds instances but the controls to move from find to find are not showing up. I'm not posting any idea. I'm posting a genuine screwup. Can we get a grown-up on the job please.

  5. Please add a global setting in Adobe Reader that prevents the Bookmarks Navigation Pane from automatically opening when a PDF is opened.
    Currently, this behavior depends on individual document properties, which means users must manually close the pane every time or rely on inconsistent workarounds. This is disruptive for those who rarely use bookmarks.
    A simple preference option (e.g., “Always hide Bookmarks pane on open”) would greatly improve usability and workflow efficiency.
    Thank you for considering this enhancement.

  6. When a user unchecks the "Show me messages when I launch Adobe Acrobat,"
    STOP showing your POPUP MESSAGES!!!

    In a work environment, having these pop-ups appear EVERY TIME I launch Acrobat is beyond annoying. Especially, when I keep unchecking the box only to find it re-checked the next time I open Preferences.

    BEYOND ANNOYING!

    What will it take to make this STOP, and adhere to the CHOICE the user makes?

  8. What we need is the option to disable this behavior that you described in your post.

    <snip>
    "The way a PDF file opens, like its zoom level, layout, or whether the window resizes is usually set by the person who creates the file. These settings are saved inside the PDF itself and control how it appears when opened by others."
    </snip>

    We do not care how the creator of the file wanted it to appear when opened.

    What we want is for the file to open nicely in our window, behave itself and not to trigger the resize and relocate…

  10. When I open Acrobat Reader and open a PDF, the images flicker. It used to work fine, but the latest updates have made it worse. The AI isn't helpful either.

  11. Allow adobe acrobat to default to last settings. I use pan and rectangle fill for highlighting when reviewing drawings but the toolbar always defaults back to Select instead of pan, and Draw instead of rectangle. There used to be an option to "Make handtool the default tool". That is now gone. Why doesn't Adobe just default to your last settings across the board?

  13. Please. You guys gotta stop with the popups. Adobe used to be pro tools, and now every time I have to open Acrobat there are 3 different popups or blinking things saying to try something A.I. or try a useless new tool. Please.

  14. You have added a button called "Try PDF spaces" exactly where the All Tools button was and forced the All Tools button to the right. Presumably this is to force clicks as folks who have memorized where the buttons they actually want to use are located and may click without looking. Get rid of it or move it to a less annoying place that doesn't disrupt workflows please. We already pay for your program - don't force us to navigate to things you want to promote. If it was actually good you wouldn't have to place it in the way…

  15. It would be great to be able to toggle through color separations from the output preview using keyboard shortcuts (that could also be hotkeyed to other input devices like Elgato Streamdeck or Logitech MX) but currently the only command that has a shortcut from the output preview is opening and closing the output preview itself. Please Fix This.

  16. am a paying customer of Adobe Acrobat, and I am writing to express my frustration with the complexity of the tool. I believe that Adobe Acrobat should provide a straightforward and user-friendly interface that allows users to perform simple tasks, such as creating a PDF from multiple images and saving it to a computer, without unnecessary complications.

    It feels like Adobe has had decades to refine this product, yet the process remains overly complicated and unintuitive. I don’t understand why it has to be so hard to perform basic tasks. I don’t need an AI assistant in this tool—I need…

  17. When highlighting documents that haven't been run through text recognition have an option to hold the shift key down and drag the highlighter in a perfectly straight line. Currently if the line is short enough it'll snap itself into a straight line but if it's longer it will keep whatever shape the line ends up as - presumably to allow user freedom which is helpful, but it's difficult to create a perfectly straight long line with mouse controls.
