  1. If I have several tabs open in Acrobat, I wish to swap between these tabs by CTRL+PG Up/Down. This is standard behaviour in any internet browser or other apps.
    Please make this possible.

  3. New Acrobat UI no longer has the option to open to open multiple files in separate windows and defaults to multiple files as tabs in one window. I found the option of great use with older versions. Please bring back this option.

  5. InDesign creates PDFs with measurements to 4 decimal places.

Acrobat rounds all measurements to 3 decimal places.

We make print-ready files with measurements up to 1/32nd of an inch (0.03125"). That's 5 decimal places.

Many of our print vendors insist we use 5 decimal places. (But they accept InDesign only goes to 4.)

The issue is we go to edit things like Trim size or page size in Acrobat, and all those measurements are rounded to 3 decimals.

North American book production uses Inches for units. Our prepress production staff are now in the process of converting everything to Points,…

  6. I just saw the "new" adobe acrobat reader. Where did the page number that you are currently on go to? I use that all the time to skip to a certain page or just to see what page I am on so I can print a particular set of pages. That is a killer for the new version, I'm using the old version for now.

  7. Recent update has been incredibly terrible for user experience, worst design in the last few years, if not of all time, cannot unpin ALL TOOLS bar on the left, which literarily takes half of the screen. worst tab management and design, unreadable titles and cause of misclicks

  8. The Document Properties Initial View setting: If set to "Two Up (cover page) the document will not open as Show Cover Page in Two Page View. This View setting has to be chosen every time a document is opened, regardless of what the Document Property is set for.
    PLEASE FIX!

  9. The quick action floating toolbar cannot be moved or docked, which means it is constantly hovering over the document, covering the upper left corner of the document. There should be an option to move or dock this toolbar so that users can view their documents unobstructed.

  10. The "new acrobat" doesn't seem to allow customizing the toolbar with toolbar buttons. Only "commands" can be added, not interface buttons such as Two-Page View, Single-Page Scrolling, etc. This is a major deficiency!

  12. Changes to the toolbar that would actually be useful — allow users to choose the positions of each button they want in the toolbar (preferably by drag & drop); give the option to show/hide labels for the buttons; provide for at least 2 rows of quick tools, and for small and large buttons. Allow the user to decide where the thumbnail and bookmark panes are positioned — left, right, or even below then document pane. I hope the new Acrobat Pro changes to these features are short-lived — they are going the wrong direction.

  13. I just opened Adobe after the latest auto-update was installed bypassing my preferred settings (that I keep changing) of having the auto-update disabled. Before this update I thought Adobe couldn't get any better but I was wrong. Now, not only is the bookmarks tab opened upon opening a document but this new all tools tab opens as well providing the user even less of an area to view the document.

It is possible for Abobe to add another box/screen/feature to open upon opening a document thus blocking the entire document we are trying to view/edit?

    Complements to the genius who…

  16. That top bar should be sized similarly to other windows app like file explorer, MS Office, edge, chrome, etc.

The issue seems to be mainly the font size of some items

  17. In the right side panel, Acrobat shows current and total page numbers. While holding the scroll bar and moving through a document, it is very helpful to see the current page number. This was the behavior in past versions of Acrobat. Currently, the page number field only updates when the scroll bar is released, leading to a guessing game when trying to scrub to a specific page.

  18. In Windows 10 you have the possibility to scroll inactive windows (Start > Settings > Devices > Mouse > Scroll inactive windows when I hover over them).

You only have to hover over the inactive window with the mouse and you can scroll. It's the same with zooming. When you press CTRL and scroll, it zooms the window under the cursor of the mouse. It works with all other apps, i.e. MS Office, even other Adobe apps like Illustrator, InDesign, etc. but not with Adobe Acrobat. You have to actually click (activate) the window with PDF for that to work.…

  19. Adobe designed the mouse cursor function is very crumble some. It's either set to select to edit text and images or pan. These two functions are always in uses. Why they cannot be set active concurrently.

And there is no workaround such inconvenience. How about the ability to customize the middle button to pan (just like AutoDesk).

  20. The Acrobat Save As window exists mostly to ask whether to save locally or to a cloud location. Since I don't use cloud storage for active documents, that's a useless window for me. I imagine maybe some others only use cloud storage. So I have a suggestion to save time for many of us.

Please allow the user to set a Preference for a default file storage domain (local or cloud, and (if cloud) which cloud service). Then skip the current Acrobat Save As window and jump directly to the native Save As window for the default domain. That would…
