  1. Endless nonsense issues about some "cash app", registering Google Drive, Verizon password… Even tried flagging them but they're still there over 24 hours later; clearly no-one even at Adobe gives a rat's a-hole about this place.

    What a great environment.

  2. After install of Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020 Release (Classic) Version 2020.005.30362 on a brand new Macbook Pro (14 in., 2021) with Apple M1 Max running Monterey version 12.4 already with Microsoft Office successfully installed and working fine, opening Powerpoint or Word for Mac version 16.63.1 (22071401) in Office Home & Business gives multiple, successive Adobe-related Microsoft Visual Basic Runtime Error '53'. Multiple calls with tech support do not resolve the problem. Following advice at https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/run-time-error-53-and-acrobat-freezing-up-not-responding-quot/m-p/11823639 resolves the MS Word errors, but does not resolve the MS Powerpoint errors.

  4. We need an Adobe/Microsoft Add-In for Macs that does not use VB Scripting.

Microsoft Security issued a bulletin stating Microsoft VB Scripting should be turned off for security reasons. When we turned it off, the Adobe Add-In on Macs stopped working.
Further testing verified that if we turn on the VB scripting that the Add-In once again works.
Other non-Adobe Add-Ins are still working (I'm guessing they don't use VB Scripting).
We decided to follow the Microsoft Security recommendation, therefore our Mac users cannot use the Adobe Add-In. We want the Add-In functionality and therefore recommend Adobe re-write the Add-In…

  5. This appears to be a bug as other people around me using the same software have no issues with these 2 options being mutually exclusive. What setting or why are these mutually exclusive for me? Sounds like a bug as I cannot find any information as to why this would occur.

  6. On Adobe Acrobat versions 7, 8, and 9, I have been able to utilize the Acrobat Access 3.0 Type Library and the Adobe Acrobat 10.0 Type Library to Save a PDF using Visual Basic for Applications. This is done in MS Access. In Acrobat DC, these libraries, the functionality I utilize is missing.

    Code attached.

  7. I have a problem with the color display in Acrobat DC. Everything looks all right in Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator, but when exporting to PDF and viewing in Acrobat the colors suddenly appear oversaturated. A lot. If I export a file from InDesign and then open the PDF up in Photoshop everything looks normal. Just not in Acrobat. My color settings are synced across all apps (to Europe General Purpose 3).

I have tried changing settings in Acrobats color management, but nothing changes the appearance.

I also tried uninstalling Acrobat and reinstalling. This actually worked but only for a few…

  8. Version of the app:

    Acrobat DC Pro v22.003.20263

    Platform and OS version:

    Windows 10/11 (no other tested)

    Issue:

Our application uses the IAC interface to draw PDF into one of our application windows using PDPage.DrawEx. IAC interface draws PDF in top-left corner of the screen.

    Steps to reproduce:
    * use version 22.002.20191
    * run the SDK sample 'StaticViewVB' or 'StaticViewVC'

    Expected result:

The PDF page is drawn within the specified window

    Actual result:

The PDF page is drawn in the top-left corner of the screen

  9. I have a great Idea!
Why not avoid force feeding someone your code?
I preferr to load SW myself under my direction which is my right! I am a little old yes, but not stupid, in my world "I AM WHATS TRENDING!". I wrote code long before you snowflakes were born. I am multi skilled in many things and have forgotten more than what you kiddies think you know. I am learning everyday, but, somehow, I have no idea how I subscribed to an ADOBE account that skims my bank $15/month. I almosted purged my bladder all over myself I…

  10. Acrobat is not working with BPDX files to update a search index.
I call acrobat.exe with a bpdx file passed as an argument, acrobat launches,
and then the window appears as it did before attempting to update the index.

However, when I manually run the pdx file it updates the index without issue.
How can I resolve this issue?

  11. If you are looking for the best way to convert the MBOX file with attachments including Email, contacts, calendars, tasks, notes, etc. Then you need to use a third-party tool like MBOX to PST converter tool. This tool helps to convert MBOX files into countless files like EML, MSG, and RTF. It amazingly works with Windows and Mac. Its interactive GUI helps its users to convert MBOX files easily. This amazing tool migrates the MBOX file into Office 365, Gmail, Thunderbird, Yahoo mail, Outlook, etc. Furthermore, this tool helps to convert single and multiple MBOX files easily.

  12. Save App Info anywhere else aside from in the Windows Credential Manager. Overpopulation of Windows Credentials is causing my CFO's Adobe software & Microsoft software to completely fail to load. MS software profiles are also getting corrupted as a result. Since the Microsoft software is critical for daily work, this may force us to stop using Adobe entirely.

  13. Using Adobe Acrobat to read, highlight, comment, etc. texts for school. However, there are times when I move the original PDF after having prepared it for use in an assignment. This unlinks the PDF from Acrobat, and all of my work is lost with no option to re-link the original file and salvage the work. Infuriating doesn't begin to describe the affect.
I have mentioned this to other students at Columbia, and those who have used Acrobat have all responded that it is a major reason they simply don't use Acrobat unless they have to.

    I am a Lightroom user…

  14. Please provide the ability to generate custom keyboard shortcuts from within acrobat, or allow mac's keyboard shortcuts to work with acrobat. I am one of those who likes to keep their fingers on the keyboard. Thank you.
P.S. If that's not possible, can we at least have a shortcut for Optimize Scanned Pages?

  18. I keep getting "an internal error occurred" when I try to preview documents in Windows explorer. It occasionally crashes Explorer. This is happening on two of my machines both running Windows 11. I don't recall this happening in Win 10.

I have to disable the preview function to be able to use Explorer without it wigging out on me.
