Full Tools, Menu customisation
Acrobat DC wastes so much screen space in non-customisable areas - It is common to 'snap' the Acrobat Application to Half-Screen - but doing so hides many menu Tools, but ALWAYS leaves 'Home, Tools, Document & then The Login Name. - These are rarely (never) used.
Please allow them to be Hidden, Or return Menu/Tool icons to a 'normal' design/style as used in the previous 10 versions of Acrobat.
'PRO' does not = Tablet user.

Please update your Acrobat (It should Auto update or you should do Help → Check for updates) and let us know your Feedback.

Please return to an interface that is more serious. You've entered Fisher Price territory.
Hideous.

open | remove shortcut | learn more those are three useless arrows allover to be deleted from the menu bar, and Theo only thing to do is the option to right click from within the app to remove shortcut, and the others to be hidden only when hover on the buttons they would show...

The DESIGN FAULT where the user has no ability to REMOVE the following "garbage icons":
the "share" button,
the "feedback" button,
the "learn adobe" button,
the "notifications" button and
the "Profile/settings" button. This is regardless whether these icons are big and blue or smaller and grey.
It should not be "confusing" or need explanation -
Making an icon smaller and/or changing it's colour does NOT REMOVE it.
Making an icon smaller and/or changing it's colour does NOT RESOLVE this design fault.Doing nothing, but saying that you did, does not magically make something happen.

Adobe soon will be a thing of the past. Move on. Nothing to see here anymore.

Yes, would be great if the main toolbar allows hiding of Home, Tools, Document, Share, Provide feedback, Help, Notifications buttons (that's 7 buttons I almost never used). to have more space for the tools. I wish it didn't hide the zoom buttons and zoom number dropdown as the window gets smaller (I often work with multiple windows next to each other). Yes, the other (hovering) toolbar has that function, but I don't like it hiding my document, and appearing and disappearing.EXACTLY!
Adobe seem to think you are not allowed to use any other application while you have "their's open......

What contempt.
It does NOT address the topic. The topic is to be able to remove "share", "feedback", "Learn Adobe", "Notifications" and "Profile and settings" if we wish to.
These (NEVER USED) options use up too much space and DO NOT BELONG where they are.
Repeatedly telling us about other things simply show a complete lack of professionalism at best.

STILL "Under Review" :-) I guess they still have things to review and more feedback to receive. LoL
How does a company with the resources of Adobe not have a basic pdf UI l that can be customized and backed up?
Is their building in San Jose just full of one big brain-dead marketing department, and nobody to design something useful?
I've long moved on to Bluebeam Revu, which offers a single lifetime license (so its cheaper), and WAY more advanced UI and features.
Good luck Suckrobat.

I can only answer for Mac:
Hard Drive\Users\Your User Name\Library\Preferences\
The file should be named something like: com.adobe.Acrobat.Pro.plist (I am still using XI)

Where does one find the preference file(s)?

Anonymous commented
The only way I know to save your toolbars would be to backup/copy the Acrobat preference file(s).

To the person who asked about saving the toolbar.... I don't think so, but I've never actually looked for a way to do that. What we did at our office was take a screen shot and save that. It's a pain to reconstruct (I had to when I got an upgrade that reset everything back to the defaults), but at least we knew what we needed to do.

Is there anyway to copy and save the toolbar? Every time there is an upgrade, I lose all the tools. Plus, I would like to be able to save the toolbar so I can copy it on all of the other machines which have Acrobat

I Just compared with Acrobat X: There you have 20 comments in the window at glance and in the former version it's just 9 comments! And if I click on a comment it's gets a bit bigger what leads to slipping of all comments, when I click on the next. So it's hard to orientate. And I have to scroll much more than in X!

The current non-customisable areas are rigid and wasteful. And now the custom toolbar doesn't even stick — I have reset it manually with each session. Users should be allowed to customize which toolbars show and which don't. And it would be useful to bring back the detachable palettes, to reduce cursor movement too.

Ok, you let us remove the big blue share button. But you have NOT resolved this issue with the Dec 11 2018 update.
Let us get rid of all the useless buttons on the right end of the toolbar (including the little share button, which you left untouchable). News flash--many of us don't need to share, big blue button or little button. We don't want the Feedback button or the Learn button. We want our SPACE back.
