Where is spell checker?

The interface is terrible. I can't find anything or do anything I used to do. I think it was designed for a cell phone. Every icon is so large and the font is so big. And it is trying to create its own "windows" looking box as you save files that I despise. I do what I need to in Acrobat and exit as soon as I can.

This in no way addresses the concern.

To be exact - how do we take the following OFF the toolbar:
The "share" button
The "provide feedback" button
The "Learn Adobe Acrobat Pro" button
The "notifications" button
The "Profile and Settings" button.

The above can (or should) be accessed from the menus - removing them from the toolbar frees up space so that other - more important DOCUMENT options can be visible (and easily accessed).

System options are not required for each document - FOR EXAMPLE: for every time I'd be inclined to use the "provide Feedback" button I'd actually have used the "page up" option - say 10,000 times?

Its great that the Big Blue Button has been made a lot smaller but unless easy and simple access to the tools needed via the tool bad is made available again through complete customisation of the bar productivity is being affected which means when we review our program use and productivity we may have to dump Adobe Pro and look for something that will allow us to do our job efficiently.

Here are the steps to customize toolbar-
1. Right click on the toolbar
2. Click on the tool in the submenu
2. Tool will be added in the toolbar

More toolbar customization please!
I understand "forcing your agenda" on people using the free editions but not on the paying customers. The Pros should be able to modify everything to fit their workflow. Please.

I would like to see the Enlarge (+) and Decrease (-) buttons separately on the tool bar. The extra clicking required to enlarge a document - and hope the cursor doesn't slide off the screen and delete the sizing screen - are too many steps. When I want to enlarge something briefly I'd prefer one click and I'm done! Thanks

Adobe doesn't need to reinvent the wheel. They've created fully customizable interfaces for Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign and other CC programs. Please build us Acrobat Pro CC 2019 with a similar UI and kill DC once and for all. Or watch all your customers switch to Bluebeam.

@Jeff, most of our staff spent a trial period with Bluebeam. All of those users were sad when the 14 days were over. If you've ever compared other image editing software to Photoshop, you know what I mean. If Acrobat Pro is MS Paint, then Bluebeam is Photoshop.

@Paul O'Brian: We are looking at possibly switching to Bluebeam as well I'm going to look at the trial version and see how it compares. do you like it thus far?

This thread helped convinced the mgmt that we should switch to Bluebeam this month. Employees everywhere are shedding metaphorical tears of joy.

And here we are at 311 votes, 118 comments and still nothing from Adobe to indicate what's being done about this after being "UNDER REVIEW" since September 4th 2017.

So disheartening.

PLEASE provide better toolbar management options.
I'm sure many of us want to remove unwanted icons and toolbars (as we could do in earlier versions) and replace them with ones we use most often. The quick launch option helps, but it's one tiny little icon that requires an extra step to open. Please allow that toolbar and its icons to appear on the main row in place of other toolbars. Microsoft even figured this out (quick launch toolbar fully visible)! You can do better.

One of my biggest complaints with Acrobat is its inability to change just a page's font color (not size) - without royally screwing up line breaks and justification; and inability to apply such changes to multiple pages - or even an entire document - at one time. Does Bluebeam handle this function any better?

Full customization of toolbars would be great! Acrobat does not offer this, but Bluebeam Revu does.

Yes - the only thing on there not available anywere is the scale - now THAT would be a useful thing on the toolbar for anyone involved in graphics.

- Fit-to-window has always been available as CTRL+0, and this shortcut is shown on the item in the view menu. As a toolbar item Fit-to-window can be permanently displayed or hidden - in the view menu/show-hide/toolbar-item/show-Select-&-zoom-tools.

- scrolling mode tool can be permanently available or hidden, see under view menu

- Page controls can be permanently on show or permanently hidden (look in the view menu under show/hide, and if on show can be either floating on the page or docked in the tool bar.

All of the task bar is customizable except the page controls, which can also become the floating tool bar. Why we can't edit this part is beyond me. The following tools I've never used and have never seen any colleague use them. We need to be able to remove them in order to help us be more efficient.
- View file in Read Mode
- Fit page to window
- Fit to window and enable scrolling
- Click to pan around the document
- Move page controls out of tool bar

Really need to have ribbon accessible and include all the tools to create or edit a form. I have just spent the last 3 hrs attempting to figure out how to create a PDF from scratch and Im not even close. I can find any of the standard tool. Go back to the old format to create or edit.
May just dump this and find something else to use.
