Hi,
Could you please follow the steps in the below article to use the email icon to send PDF directly as email attachment.

tried the update. No changes. Still have to click
file> share file> send as attachment> default email app> continue> finally then the PDF is sent to outlook email ready for an email address then send. Where is the File> send to email> then enter email address and send. -

Which is which? they both say Reader in the file name. What about Acrobat DC Pro?

there was a fix pushed out today. ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/AcrobatDC/1900820074/ is the patch for the reader, there is another patch for Acrobat but they are both on the website as updates

Agreed, this is tedious. We used to have an option to have it remember our choice after the first time using the button. You've taken that also.

I agree as well. I use this button all day long a hundred times a day! I hate having three steps now when i used to have only one! Terrible update on Adobe's part. Please return it to the way it was

These updates are awful, sending email is now even much more annoying. Why can't we have a simple mail as attachment button?
