save PDF to same folder as original file
When I right click on a word or excel file and "convert to pdf" it would be better if the new pdf could save to the same folder as the original file by default. There should be an option to allow this, which I found to be a huge time saver when using Kofax Power PDF. The current adobe saving options only allow for using one pre-defined folder, or the last folder that something was saved to. This results in files being saved to the wrong location, or time wasted navigating to different folders every time.

IDEA - Insert All Links On Page
This is a variation on an existing function in Adobe Acrobat Pro that appears in Tools - Document Processing - Web capture - Append All Links on Page. This function seeks out a linked file or webpage, converts it to PDF, and then appends it to the end of the host PDF file and then internally links/bookmarks the link to that page.
Instead of appending the links to the PDF file at the end and creating an internal bookmark link to the page, this feature would do the same thing but instead attach the file or webpage in the link…

Easy way to convert a Word document with EMBEDDED Fonts
Create a simple way to convert a Word document to a pdf WITH embedded fonts for publishing. It is much too difficult and time consuming hunting down the process in the program. I thought the program had all of these features easily accessible to a user.

Create PDF from Word without saving.
I use a Word document with blank fields i manually fill to create PDF letters. Now it seems I have to save the Word file in the process of creating a PDF. I need to be able to close the Word file without saving it so the fields remain blank for the next use. Why can I no longer simply <Print> the filled form letter to PDF without overwriting my original Word file?

Need a tool to translate web pages in languages other than English.
It would be much easier to have a translate tool in Acrobat than to take the downloaded page into Firefox, translate it, then pull it back into Acrobat.

BUG : White outline around images with transparency
With Microsoft WORD (2016) & PDFMaker:
With an Image with Transparency: .PNG File. Placed against a dark background (paper colour) to show the white outline that occurs around the image.
Occurs in .PDF files when No image resolution downsampling is set, and image types are stored in NON-lossy image formats, e.g. NONE, ZIP, JPEG 2000 (LossLESS)
It occurs at all zoom levels. But disappears when zoomed in to the maximum zoom level.
When the resultant PDF File is later, either DownSampled or LOSSY Image comprressed (Using PDF Optimiser), the white Outlines become part of the Image and are much more…

Wrong interpretation of EPS / AI / SVG file when creating a PDF from Word.
See the attached files for more info, the dev team surely has more knowledge on the file structures than I do, and the parser for whatever format is involved.
I have an Illustrator file, created out of an old EPS one. Works fine in Illustrator and everything, exporting to PNG, for example, is no problem.
However if the drawing gets pasted in Word (365, 64-bit 16.0.14228.20288) and one tries to create a PDF out of it using the COM Add-in the drawing isn't interpreted correctly leading to a garbled mess.
Office's internal PDF exporter does a better job, but you…

Bookmarks are not carried over from word if document is less than four pages
Links are not working after converting a Word document to a PDF. After much troubleshooting, the cause of the issue is the number of pages. Four or more pages works as expected, three or less does not.
To reproduce the issue, create a Table of Contents at the top of the document that links to the Headers of each section. Then Save As Adobe PDF. The expected result is that the Table of Contents will still contain links to the Headers of each section as bookmarks in the new PDF. The observed result is that the links are broken if…

Converting MS emails .msg type files to PDF using 'Combine Files' Feature
I would like to suggest .msg file type to be added to the list of supported files for multiple batch conversion to PDF using the 'Combine Files' feature.
I sure many users would fine this feature useful, we receive a lot of documents many of the .msg file type we need to convert into one pdf bundle together with other types.
I'm aware Acrobat has a plugin to support manual conversion of emails from Outlook to PDF, but it would be really beneficial if we could present emails and other supported files to Acrobat to convert as a batch without…

"Merge to Adobe PDF" in Microsoft Word Filename Field
It would be very helpful if in the "Merge to Adobe PDF" function/plugin under Mailings in Microsoft Word to be able to specify a filename from the fields of my dataset. In other words, I would like to be able to have a column in my dataset that the plugin uses for naming files. It's horrible having to rename a hundred documents if you want to distribute PDFs.

PDF Tables are not tagged correctly: #1 Table Editor
1 of several problems in how PDF Maker (and InDesign's export to PDF utility) tag PDFs.
In Table Editor, the editor's cell markers (bright pink lines) do not align with the actual <TD> data cells. This makes it difficult, and sometimes impossible, to correct a cell's tag.
Most commonly seen in complex tables with merged cells in the column and row headers. See screen capture.

Table Editor's cell outlines should match the actual cells.2 votesHi

Embed pdfs as clickable objects within pdf that work when viewed in any pdf reader e.g. browser
Embed pdfs as clickable objects within pdf that work when viewed in any pdf reader e.g. browser. So can add pdf to word and then share and people can click on the embedded pdf to read it. But if I save the Word doc as pdf the embedded objects cease to be clickable. Annoying. And support's option of adding files into the pdf doesn't help as doesn't work with people who use browser as pdf reader.
