  2. Currently, if I send a fillable form to someone, they can't change the font they enter into the fillable fields. It would be great if they could change the font to suit them rather than have to keep the font that I've assigned. OR if I could assign a font and have it appear on the PDF at their end rather than converting to a default font if they don't have that particular font on their computer.

Please select “Allow Rich Text Formatting” for the text field in the “Options” tab of the Properties dialog box.

Formatting options are available on “Right Click”
And font can be changed using the “text toolbar”, using the shortcut key CTRL+E or CMD+E.

    I hope this help

  3. Please have the "EMAIL" from PDF feature replaced for ADOBE ACROBAT STANDARD DC users (click on an email and open a new email in OUTLOOK). I used this feature a lot previously and am VERY disappointed that this feature is no longer available.

  4. Since there's a push to make publically available PDF's meet ADA accesibility standards, we've been creating the base form fields in inDesign and then doing finishing touches in Acrobat Pro. It's annoying enough that you can't set formatting in the base doc (ie if it should be a number, date, percentage etc). The fact that there's no way to format multiple fields at once is worse. If more than one field is selected, the "format" tab literally disappears from the properties menu.

I'd just copy the original fields to preserve their settings, but then I'd have to do a lot…

  5. When distributing an Adobe Form, I check the box, "Collect name and email address." The user submits the form, but includes commas in the Name box. The data goes into the Adobe response file just fine. But when exporting to csv, the "From" column doesn't include enclosing quotes. So the columns get shifted.

  6. In the current version of Adobe Acrobat DC it isn't possible anymore to select an layout for the portfolios as it was in the earlier versions. An opportunity to enable that would be very practical and advantageous.

  7. There is currently no way to get the tab order of fields in a PDF file via JavaScript. While it is possible to set it by creating fields in the desired order, there is no way of getting the order of already available fields – only alphabetically. Giving the Field object a new property or reading out another sorted list would solve this.

  8. I think it would be a good idea to be able to name several property names at once, and be able to add a suffix at the end. So if you are naming 10 different form cells "Address" you won't have to type in Address01, Address02, etc.

  9. Behavior: When selecting one of the radio button options, the border disappears. Note that this appears to be affected by the field highlighting, which is enabled by default for Reader and Acrobat.
    Steps to reproduce:
    1. Setup a form with multiple sets of radio buttons, where at least two options exist for each set of radio buttons
    2. In the Appearance properties tab for the radio buttons, set the Border Color to black and Line Thickness to "Thin"
    3. In the Options properties tab set the Button Style to "Cross"
    4. Open the form and select one radio button from…

    This is as designed.
As you select the radio button, you will observe a light gray, beveled frame appears around each button boxes.
You can see the difference as you make changes in “Line Style”

  10. I believe there are no current JavaScript functionalities to format the text in an auto generated email or even the alert method. This could include bold, italics, or highlighted, in the actual body of the email. Are there any plans to implement this in JavaScript, or to allow HTML to be used for this?

  11. When selecting a form field and want to use it for the default, it doesn't allow for the existing decimal place. So, I have to go back and change every number field to eliminate the two decimal default. Also, why can't we just have the default be without any decimals?

Please share the acrobat version you are experiencing this issue with. You can do so using the link -helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/identify-product..

Also, can you please try it another PDF file and confirm that this is not file specific.

  14. Repeatedly, when trying to fill in US Internal Revenue Service forms in Acrobat DC Standard, I get a "bad file handle" message, and am unable to save the completed form. This did not happen with earlier versions of Adobe Acrobat and does not happen if I open the files in Acrobat Reader DC rather than the full version of Acrobat DC. I am using Windows 10.

  15. Why can I not change the default font in Adobe Acrobat XI Pro from Minion to what I want? The "J" in Minion looks like an "I" and I have a "J" in my company name which is causing problems because it looks like an "I". I know this has been asked before but why is there no answer. Ugh!

  16. When I try to fill this form: http://www.ru.emb-japan.go.jp/VISANDTOURISM/Visa/template/application.pdf -- which is a Visa application form at Japanese embassy in Moscow, Adobe reader DC crashes when I scroll down a Country/Region drop-down list.

I remember that this form have never had such problems in previous years (with earlier version of Acrobat Reader).

I have attached various information that may be useful.

  17. It's absurd when you working on a form and have to look up information to complete the form and then the form disappears. I realize Safari is a joke and the "built in" that drive you towards one of "their " products. But I am paying a monthly fee for playing hide and seek with documents?

  18. I have several PDF files that I print regularly (together). Some are printed as double-sided, and some are printed as single-sided. When you combine PDFs into one document, there's not an option to keep some printing as double, and some as single. When you hit print and choose the option to print "Double sided," it prints double-sided for all. Wish there was a way to have them combined in one document, but have separate printing properties. May work-around is to add a "blank page" after the single page PDF, but that gets messy. THanks

  19. Recently the send email functionality in Acrobat DC Pro and Reader has stopped working with my gmail account. It says it's creating the email but does not put it in the drafts folder in gmail. It used to work just fine. I'm on Windows 10, Acrobat version 19.012.20034.1161. A collegue of my is able to use it just fine on their Mac with the same version of Acrobat.

  20. When having Chinese or Cyrillic Characters in a List Box, the export value cannot be accessed (event.changeEx). In the case of these Characters in a List Box the event.changeEx returns nothing.
    An Example is attached.
