Adobe Acrobat - Continuous Release as of Sept-18-2024
I have used every version of Adobe Acrobat for the last 20 years and I want you guys to know that I took 10 minutes to create a "user feedback" account so that I could share this feedback with you. Your latest versions of Acrobat are so counter-intuitive that I actually try to avoid creating or using PDF documents. It's obvious that you are trying to push everyone to the cloud and more services because I can't even find a "Save As" button so I can relocate and Save my PDF files.... I am an IT Consultant for several firms…

Automatic Sending of Monthly Invoices to Email
Of the more than 30 "online" subscriptions our company pays monthly, Adobe is the only one that does not provide a monthly invoice to a email inbox. It has been widely accepted in the industry that monthly "subscriptions" are now the new norm for software. The VERY least a company can do is provide an invoice receipt to the user's inbox on a monthly basis. Not doing so creates an inconvenience and alienates your user base.
PLEASE provide a monthly invioce copy sent directly to the user's preferred email address.

I hate the new Acrobat Pro DC interface
I have spent way too much time trying to find tools I use all the time. There is nothing intuitive about the new interface. I reverted back to the old version and I'm happily finding and using the tools I need.

Please make it easier to adjust own default settings
Please make it easier to disable settings permanently. Incuding AI pop ups.
Also the tools menu automatically pops up on the left of the screen. And now bookmarks show up on the right. Both obscuring the document.
I have to manually close them both to view my document. Fine if you are only viewing one document, but really annoying when viewing several. I can't find the options to get rid of them completely. Please make these settings easy to find and use.1 vote -
New Acrobat Interface
My Idea is this: stop wasting precious developer time fixing things that AREN'T BROKEN! Geez, who wants to learn an all-new interface in in order to do the same work they've always done? Geez, you people have lost touch with reality. Software is supposed to support the users, making their productivity higher, and easier. Changfing interfaces does not do that Thank God someone was smart enough to include a Disable option! But you should have saved your energy for something important. Because all that time and effort making a less useable interface for me was a complete waste. Blind users…

Open Documents as New Tabs in different Windows
I have Adobe Pro. It won't open multiple .pdf documents on different screens. I have 4 x monitors, run a business and need to open different documents, including different .pdf documents on different screens at the same time.
I contacted your help desk and spoke with Shr who advised that the Open Documents as New Tabs in Different Windows is no longer available in Adobe Pro, and if I disable New Acrobat, it disables the Open Documents as New Tabs in Different Windows feature in Adobe Pro. REALLY!!.
Try opening 4 x .pdf documents on one screen and copy and…

AI Assistant Notifications "blocks" the ability to leave comments
First of all, these notifications are super annoying. Second, when they appear, I cannot write comments. Only when I close the notification about the "AI Assistant" - do the comment fields (where I can type) appear again.

Enable persistent settings for page resize and scrolling
Create a persistent store for the Page Resize and Scrolling options - Just leave them in the same state they were when the app was last closed or provide a tab in the Preferences dialog where they can be set.

YOU HAVE RUINED THIS SOFTWARE
Opens slow, runs slow, locks up... Maybe if you added an option to turn off the constant, unwanted, intelligence insulting pop ups, Adobe could function properly.

Add dynamic zoom to new UI. Please.
Add dynamic zoom to the toolbar options, menu or at very least the sidebar for the new UI.

Bring back the old layout - I need page numbers front and center
…The new layout is so different than the old that it is hampering my productivity. I thought Adobe was supposed to help users, not take away all the features that I need to see immediately when I open a PDF. Specifically, I need page numbers and the page up and down arrows front and center. I still don't know how to find those. I need to see at a glance if I have time to read a 5 page or 105 page document. Don't hamper users. Make it easy again. Allow users -- and tell us how to do this16 votes -
Open multiple files in separate windows, not as tabs in single window.
New Acrobat UI no longer has the option to open to open multiple files in separate windows and defaults to multiple files as tabs in one window. I found the option of great use with older versions. Please bring back this option.

You made the app even worse with this new interface
Really, change it back to the old version and demote the team that thought this was a good idea.

Let the user select and arrange the interface
Nothing should be mandatory in terms of floating elements, and users should be allowed to customize placement of buttons on every toolbar including floating toolbars, and customize whether to display them always/as set by document, with traditional arrangements always available as default options.

We Need a Flip (Horizontally) and Stick Floating Toolbar
Please give us a floating bar with flip and stick functionality. The request is two part:
(1) THE FLIP: Please program a floating toolbar that cab be flipped horizontally. The vertical bar can be problematic on both small and large format screens. On small screens it may float over the text (where documents are maximized for readability) making documents less readable (I see this problem commonly in Adobe Discussion threads). My problem is that I use a large screen, and often review wide format documents (maps, plans, etc.) or I am using a two-page view. With my bigger screen, the…

Complaints on New UI
I use Acrobat DC. I recently started using the new UI in December 2023. I think it is much worse than the previous UI. Functions that used to be in the top menu bar are now divided into two menu bars on the sides of the screen, while the area where they used to be is just an empty bar, a complete waste of space. This means there is a narrower part of the screen for the document. Maybe this is why they made it so that you can either see comments, or see bookmarks, but not both at the…

Confusing Layout
Visual designers managed to ruin a tool that was excellent and practical. The environment is now completely different, difficult to use, confusing, with no work flow. I would recommend a book to designers: Steve Krug's "Don't Make Me Think".
