  1. Can we make it possible to be able to view bookmarks and page thumbnails simultaneously? My department is now using Adobe to aid switching to electronic filing. This would be a huge time saver!

    1. While using Organise pages – Tool bar, we cannot have single full page view, as it was there earlier. Maximum zoom is 2 page view, even if there is a single page in the document. Also the zoom control on toolbar does not work for it, only the slider at the right bottom corner works.

    1. Open PDF
    2. Open Set Page Boxes - TrimBox
    3. Add a value in "Top", "Bottom", "Left" and "Right": For all sides you can see grey guides in your document. Expect for the right side. The right guideline is somewhere outside the document.

I have to use this really often so it's quite annoying not to see where the guideline is placed. That means a lot of time for "trying".

    Hi Sarah

I tried using it myself and the guidelines are visible for all four sides. Can you please share some files where you see this happening (and also a screenshot of the issue so that I can be sure we are on the same page).
This would help us investigate the issue faster.

    Regards
    Vivek

  2. I'd like the option to crop multiple pages in one go instead of individually. e.g. Document with non-print marks. Instead of creating separate PDF with InDesign or other desktop publisher, I'd like to crop all the pages in one go.

  3. I have a merged PDF document to which I added multiple bookmarks.

When I run advanced optimization as I usually do, it removed half of my bookmarks.

    This has never happened before.

This is a task that I perform every other month and has worked fine for years.

We are running Windows 7, and have an Adobe CC team account.

  4. I frequently use a program where I open multiple PDFs, combine them and only save the final result. I am now only able to combine them after I have saved each PDF individually. This was not an issue previously.

  5. After I go to Edit document, crop pages and select the area I'd like to crop, the "set page boxes" dialogue box is too large. It goes from the top of the screen to the bottom. This hides the "OK" and "Cancel" buttons under my taskbar. I have to use the directional keys to highlight the appropriate command and hit enter to select it.

    Hello Ruben

Can you please be little specific about your request. We do have a compare tool in Acrobat. Did you try using that?

    Thanks

  9. When you insert a page into a document, make the default directory for the document to be inserted the same as the document it is being inserted into. Or allow the user to set preferences that include this.

  10. Ctrl Alt T back please (cropping one page or all pages)

I'm not sure why you took it out, or why you hid it, but I would really like it back! I use it monthly if not weekly for work and it is WAY easier than the new version. Maybe you thought we didn't use it, but we do :-)

I have Acrobat 11, the full version. Please bring it back.

    thank you

  11. Whose stupid idea was it to make drag and drop also copy pages when in the organize pages tool? And then why doesn’t ctrl z undo that copy and reselect the pages? This is literally how everything else works.

But somehow a slight slip in this program means I need to close the file, don’t save and reselect 200 pages again to delete them because of this.

    Hi

We tried with several files and dragging does not copy the pages.
Is it specific to some files or is there a defined way to replicate it?
If file specific, can you please share the files with us?

This would help us investigate faster.

    Thanks
    Vivek

  12. I suggest creating a new function to the "organize pages" that would allow to invert the order of pages. Very useful if I'm reading in Japanize

  13. Allow to insert from Clipboard into a open PDF that is currently being used. Only work around is multiple document merge.

  14. Would like to have the "rotate left" and "rotate right" buttons available in Acrobat Standard XI. The 3 step rotate page system is clunky.

  15. These two icons do 2 completely different functions from one another. They have appeared the same for ages now. I think it is finally time to create a new Icon look for one or the other. Having both on my quick tools is rather daunting because they look exactly the same.

  16. Allow an option to extract a part of a PDF page and save as a new file so it is a new file only showing what you want. This would be similar to cropping and then print to PDF the cropped page to eliminate the extra file size. The key is to keep the original file resolution / clarity.

Need Info  ·  Vivek Chandra responded

    Hi James

You can extract complete page/pages using the pages app. Once extracted you can crop the new file as per your needs. This would maintain the original file resolution / clarity as required by you.
Please let me know if this works for you.

    Regards
    Vivek

  17. Hello,

Could you add support for embedding APNG (Animated PNG) inside PDF?

    Thank You.
