  2. Please, please please, create a view as thumbnail option within folders. Home page shows most thumbnail images, however when opening a folder reverts to list view. This function is critical for users to identify docs quickly... windows had feature since version 3.1, Apple has feature, Google has feature.... yet not available to Adobe? Premium cost for Adobe throughout years, yet the fundamentals are lacking for your customers. Your older free version of adobe reader had funtion, but for your paying customers we loose feature? Help me if I am off base...

  5. looking at the KB article https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/forbidden-error-while-using-Fill-and-Sign.html it blames the network, but I have a different issue.

I'm getting the same error message, however, this is due to the fact that the integrated browser inside the adobe program is an old version and blocked by our corporate security system. the answer of "Connect the machine to a different network." isn't an option when you go through a cloud security service.

can we get a hold of developers to report this issue and get it fixed?

  6. When accessing Adobe Document Cloud via the Adobe Acrobat Pro desktop version, the application is using Google Chrome (80.x) agent internally.
The current version of chrome is 92.x.

Our company does not allow chrome versions below 82.x as this is insecure and has many vulnerabilities rendering the desktop version useless for us. Will adobe look to update this in the future?

  7. MacOS Big Sur 11.6 (20G165)
    Safari Version 15.0 (16612.1.29.41.4, 16612)
    Adobe Acrobat DC 21.007.20096

Safari no longer supports opening PDFs in Acrobat, rather than the browser. A high-level tech support at Adobe screen-shared on my computer and couldn't find any way to set it so that PDFs would open in Acrobat. Help files on Adobe's help site refer to an older version of Safari, which had preferences different than the current version (see attached screen shot of current Safari preferences).

  12. Windows 10. Adobe Acrobat DC 20.13.20064.405839.

When I open a PDF in IE 11, the first one loads fine, but if I close it and open a second PDF, this crashes IE 11.

I am a developer, and we use an application that uses IE 11 as its rendering engine, and the same bug occurs there as well. Open first PDF, go to a URL (ex: google.com), and then open another PDF, and it crashes our application.

    Please advise.

  14. When opening a PDF file from Microsoft Edge browser the file now opens using a default Microsoft pdf reader of some sort. I checked to make sure that acrobat was the default application for opening .pdf files but that makes no difference. Adobe help desk said this is because of the latest windows update and the latest adobe acrobat update as well. This is really frustrating and makes workflow inefficient. Please fix this so acrobat can be used when opening .pdf files from browsers (had same problem with Chrome so does not seem to be a browser specific problem).

    Thank…

  15. "There was an error opening this document.
This file is already open or in use by another application."
Seems to be some kind of race - sometimes it opens but usually I get the above error. If I then click on the file in the browser downloads it opens just fine.

I just spent a couple hours talking to a very helpful support person in India and she was not able to fix the problem. Seems I will have to use a different browser or a different .pdf file viewer.
I am using the latest version of Firefox and the…

  17. When I export a brochure to pdf I usually set the Page Display to function like a brochure and to fit the page, this works great in the pdf app but is lost when viewed with a browser. Could you implement these settings into the browser "application"?

I have always wished this was a feature but it has become more of an actual issue for me as the shared commenting feature was updated and it pushes users to the browser pdf viewer instead of their installed application. I would like the reviewers to see the brochure as they will view…

  20. Acrobat extension 15.1.1.3 under Windows 10 is incompatible with chrome 78.0.3904.70. It causes the browser to be unable to work at all. It's not possible to fix any other way other than to downgrade Chrome. Even removing Acrobat has not effect. Somehow, the incompatible Acrobat extension leaves behind something that won't allow Chrome to work. Downgrading to earlier version of Chrome fixes this.
