2. Bookmarks

   After creating a pdf file with MANY bookmarks through a professional tax preparation program, I save it, password protect it, close it and email it to a client. When I go back and open the saved password protected file, all the bookmarks are gone! WHY? Is it the password protecting that wipes them out? I use Adobe Acrobat Pro DC and I pay for multiple copies on my computers but this is not acceptable.

3. Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020 won't show a warning that changes haven't been saved before closing

   For example, if you add a comment to a PDF and close Acrobat 2020 Pro, the warning about not saving your work will not appear. This warning was normally displayed on the older version of Pro XI, so it appears in the latest version of DC (both Reader and Pro).

4. Comments Quicker Edit of Fill Border, with No Fill, No Border Options

   When drawing Rectangles, Circles, Clouds etc in Acrobat pro, the method of specifying Borders and Fill are incredibly tedious and slow to edit. Acrobat has one change colour dot to bring up the colour pallet for Fill / Border, and those colour pallets then have NO option for ( no fill ) or ( no border ). You have to go into the cog to get properties which brings up another pallete, which also has NO option for ( No Fill ) ( No Border ), so you then pick the colour picker which takes you to another window, where you can select transparent, you them close that window, ( and then hit "Make Properties Default" which doesn't work and does not stay permanent. ). So I'm going to count the mouse clicks to change a Rectangle red border/yellow fill to a Black Border/No Fill. 1 select object. 2 select change colour, 3 select cog Rectangle Properties, 4 select fill colour, 5 select Transparent, 6 Close that box, 7 Select Line Colour Picker ( brings up RGB Sliders 0, 8 Select pencil colour picker, 9 select black, 10 Close that Box, 11 Select "Make Properties Default ( which doesn't work BTW ), 12 Close that Box with ok. I can do that with 4 clicks in Pages and Numbers and Vectorworks,,..... etc
   IDEA,
   like most other programs, even pages, have a separate colour Picker for Fill that includes No Fill, Have a separate Colour Picker for Line That includes No Line, Maintain line weight picker. Then I could have just selected Fill, and second click "No Fill" and Select Line Colour picker and select Black. Compare convoluted Acrobat process to simple pages separate fill / line selectors in the screenshots attached, and please fix "Make Properties Default" to work properly and apply also to new documents opened.

5. "Unified" 64-bit Adobe Acrobat/Reader DC isn't really unified

   Tl;dr: The new 64-bit version of Acrobat should work as Reader when not logged-in/assigned a license.

   In the era of work-from-home we now have all of our users logging into a multi user terminal server.

   On this server we recently installed the 64-bit version of Adobe since it's where the industry is moving to; however, we then discovered that once Adobe "upgrades" itself from Reader mode to Acrobat mode all of our reader only users cannot access the product.

   Since it is not possible to install both the 64-bit version of Acrobat and Reader, since they install to the same folder, this makes the 64-bit version of Acrobat/Reader unusable in our organization.

   The new 64-bit Adobe Acrobat/Reader should only activate the Acrobat features if a user is logged in with a license.

   For now we will go back to using the 32-bit version.

   Tl;dr: The new 64-bit version of Acrobat should work as Reader when not logged-in/assigned a license.

6. Can we get Immersive Reader support for PDF files?

   I appreciate that Adobe has the 'Read Out Loud' function, and I am familiar with how to use it and change the voice, but it is objectively worse than Immersive Reader in terms of usability, user experience, and universal design.

7. Changing color of highlights on pdf compare

   I would like to request being able to change the highlighted colors on the compare document when you do pdf compare. Specifically the colors for the legend and how they appear on the document, all at once. This would save my office about 20 minutes per file and steps in a process we have, so we would greatly appreciate it.

10. Embedded fonts with EM size over 1000 get scaled incorrectly

    The attached PDF is not malformed - it displays nicely with most viewers, but not Adobe Acrobat, including the on-line edition. The embedded font has an EM size of 1736, rather than 1000, and the scaling is not being done.

14. text disappears at different zoom levels (

    I have Adobe Acrobat Pro (22.003.20282) installed and no updates are available. When I have the zoom at 100%, there is missing text, but it shows up at zoom levels above and below! See the attached files for examples. This is really frustrating when we are trying to proof documents.

16. Create a command to permanently discard cropped-out margins from the page in order to reduce file size

    There should be a simple command to discard permanently everything outside the cropbox. Currently, the only way to do so is the crop pages and then run OCR. Why? Seems like a simple, useful feature to add.

    Kudos to you for making a reflow mode available for all PDFs, which is a huge help to us vision impaired folks.
