  2. Bug - Combine files into a single pdf

    Acrobat DC's, File>Create>Combine files into a single pdf, will stop working and I will have to quit and re-open Acrobat DC. It will work for a little while and then stop working. I will go to File>Create>Combine files into a single pdf within Acrobat DC, and when I choose two .pdf files to combine the preview will not show for the two files being combined, so I exit the window. Then try to go to File>Create>Combine files into a single pdf again and it plain just doesn't do anything, so it stopped working. A quit and re-open of Acrobat DC…

  3. Adobe PDF Printer should be installed automatically.

    Adobe PDF Printer should be installed automatically when installing Acrobat DC. Instructions for manual installation are incomplete. Everything worked great until recent update failure and reinstallation.

  4. Editable form fields should keep font properties they were exported with

    When you export an interactive PDF from InDesign, form fields that define a font and size do not carry over to the actual PDF and have to be redefined in Acrobat Pro.

  5. Page numbers don't match, for many years !

    For many years I am forced to tell my colleagues "report page 59, PDF page 62." Please change the title pages to ii, iii, iv, v, so the pages will match! This has been a problem for years. Adobe Acrobat can clearly see the real page numbers on the document. They almost NEVER match. Can you please match the Adobe PDF page numbers to the document page numbers? This could eliminate so much confusion, it isn't even funny.

  6. Editing pictures - annoying feature

    The object you selected uses transparency and might look different in your editing application. Furthermore, the appearance of the page may change in unexpected ways after this object is edited. Do you want to edit this object anyway?

  7. When filtering for Status of None, changing the status of a comment should remove it from the visible comments.

    It would be nice if comments you've dealt with would drop of the "None" filtered list. It keeps you from revisiting comments and it helps you track what still needs to be done.

    Right now the only workaround is to reset the filter to "All" and then refilter for "None". Do-able, but a real PITA.

    This feature is not required as on changing the status, the comment will suddenly disappear which will become troublesome to use.

  8. Horizontal scroll mouse

    Can't scroll horizontally with apple mouse with scroll button. Have to keep manually going to bottom bar to scroll and often have window bottom out of view when I'm editing from PDF to other documentl

  9. Recent files list should also show files located in iCloud (Mac/Windows)

    As a user, I would like to access my recent files through the recent files list, also when they're located in the iCloud folder. (Mac/Windows, not iPad)

  10. preferences setting to turn off page headers in comments

    Those page number divisions in the comment pane are problematic. It is SO EASY when clicking into that pane to accidentally hide a whole set of comments and not notice. I have zero use for those dividers, and it woul be nice to be able to make them go away and not clutter up the comments pane.

  12. Adobe Standard

    Like the Adobe Standard, could scan more than one page of documents

    now I have to scan 1 page at a time loading and reloading, time is money..why change something that works. Don't understand taking that feature out of the software. Please bring it back, I'll have to find another program that will do this.

  14. Bug - Form Field Properties dialog doesn't save Calculations when accessed from Tools Pane field list

    When selecting a field from the Tools Pane, Rt-click, and selecting Properties, the Calculations tab does not work. You can enter a formula, but it will not save into the field properties.

    However, if you double-click the field on the page to open the Properties, and enter the same formula in the Calculations tab, it will save it.

    This is CERTAINLY a bug, as there is no reason the Properties dialog should not act the same way no matter how it was opened. And the correct action should be to save formulas that are entered into the Calculations tab.

  15. Give option to make 'Marque zoom' the default option instead of the 'Select Tool'

    The default option in Adobe Acrobat is the 'Select Tool'. For production purposes I never use this tool, I would prefer to have the 'Marque Zoom' as default.
    It should be possible to set this in the preferences.

  16. Setting User menus should be intuitive and easy, then check-box for migrating menu settings across all user systems.

    Setting custom menu with often used items (top bar or side panel) and omitting other common or unused tools should be intuitive. Once made the user menu can be set in other registered app system UI's with a checkbox so all systems can inherit user configured menu. Or all configurations are cloned across networks if separated by location, i.e. desktop-portable or desktop-desktop at second location. Also, multiple user choices or mod and share capability. U.I. should conform to personal workflows and allow for customizations that live beyond updates and re-installs. Simple look-up file stored on Adobe servers is applied when…

  17. Adobe failures

    I have constant problems with Adobe Pro, when I create a PDF runsheet, then attach files and begin a hyperlink to those files, adobe will fail to work, or get a message that adobe has stopped working, have to go out and re-enter the program several times to complete my process. Please tell me what I need to do. This is very poor functionality.

  18. Editing headers/footers

    The issue is combining docx or xlsx files into pdf. Once a document has been combined you can place a new header or footer in the combined document. However, you cannot change or update the header/footer you place in the document without the program deleting the original header and footer in the converted (docx) document.

  19. BUG: Using Fill & Sign to enter three question marks crashes App

    I recreated this bug several times in multiple documents. It happens every time. When using Fill & Sign, entering three or more question marks in a field by themselves will cause the app to lose the ability to save the document, exit fill & sign, or quit. Can continue using fill & sign, but all progress will be lost when user tries to save.
