PDF text disappears in Acrobat Application but opens fine in Acrobat for web
Does anyone else have this issue of opening a PDF in the Acrobat application, and the text disappears, but when you open it in the Acrobat for web or in the preview app, its totally fine. Like what am I paying $25 a month for if the Web version is more reliable.
Have tried to do all the suggested check for updates/ embed text/ remove security settings etc etc but still haven't been able to get it to work1 vote -
Font Suddenly Not Showing
Font is not showing in certain areas of PDF while other images are. Issue is occurring with 20 users on Adobe Acrobat for Mac. All are up to date, Replace Document Colors is not On. Security is off. I have uninstalled and reinstalled with no change.

Redact Doesn't Work
When selecting "redact" a pop up shows but it is completely blank. Redact tool is unusable. I updated the entire program, shut it down and restarted the program, and even restarted the whole computer. I am running version 2024.005.20421

Automatic removal of blank pages in PDF
Would like to have a feature in Adobe Acrobat Pro to detect blank page PDFs automatically and eliminate them from the file. We work with very large sets of documents sometimes which makes the current manual option become a very time consuming task.

Adobe crashes when doing SAVE AS or printing MS Word DOCs to PDFs
Sometimes the PDF editor doesn't have all the features I need, so I CONVERT to MS DOC and edit there, then SAVE AS back to PDF, but Adobe crashes when doing SAVE AS or printing MS Word DOCs to PDFs.
I spent over ONE HOUR finding and Adobe files that needed to be Uninstalled to fix the problem, including over a dozen HIDDEN and BACKGROUND processes that were messing up my Windows registry. Search options
Typing CTRL-f or CMD-f usually produces a "find/replace" box, which works. But then it switches to a "search" box up in the menu bar area, which does not work. If I have two instances of Acrobat running (which I do to compare edited documents side by side) and close one of them, the "find/replace" box disappears and the nonfunctioning "search" box appears. It wouldn't be so annoying if the search box actually functioned, but it does not.

Font size displays incorrectly when editing text
The attached generated PDF files contain text which is 36pt in size.
When inspecting the text using Edit Text in 'original.pdf' the size is incorrectly shown as 48.
If the element is copied and pasted as in 'copied.pdf' the new element shows correctly as 36 and the original as 48.
Running a preflight check reports all text as 36.

Turned pages, do not stay turned after saving. In the reopened document they are back to the state before. Why does acrobat not save my changes. I tried with all options, saving under diffent name, other reduction and settings, closed down acrobat,...

I need to perform global find and replace and the find and replace dialog has select entire word grayed out in settings. I have hundreds of tags to change and this is killing me. Please enable the select entire word check box for find and replace. And yes, the new versions revision of adobe 2023 suck.

Freedom of information Act - Ireland
Similar to the US FOIA and US Privacy Act options already available for marking up a redaction mark in Adobe with the reason (section of the Act) that was used to justify the redaction, would it be possible to either
a) add something similar for the Irish FOI Act 2014 (Exempt Records section is Part 4 https://www.irishstatutebook.ie/eli/2014/act/30/enacted/en/print.html) or
b) allow for a user to add in the text they would like to appear over the redaction mark manually, without having to create a text box and move it over the mark.

Link Type: Polygon? (Currently you can only draw rectangle source links)
When creating a link within the "Edit" tools, it currently only allows for a "Visible Rectangle" or "Invisible Rectangle". I'd like to see the program offer a polygon link option. Per the attachment, our company uses roof architecture drawings to link to a page in the document that provides further detail of the roof area.
With the example attached roof area 6, the roof area is a irregular polygon. With the current functioning we end up having to draw several rectangles to cover the irregular area. I am proposing a polygon function be added that way we can draw a…

PDF size compression / reduction
Dear Team,
We have been using adobe acrobat for size compression of PDF files to upload on various government website. However, it is not at all effective in size reduction or compression. It hardly reduces the size even after going for advance optimization and reducing the pixel sizes or selecting extreme low option.
On the other hand we notice that free websites such www.ilovepdf.com or smallpdf.com or pdf2go.com reduces the size of the same pdf files into half whereas paid app of adobe acrobat fails to do that.
Request you to please look into this immediately.

Go back to the previous version
Do the people who created this new software ever use Adobe Pro? It is terrible. The user interface was better with the previous version, editing a document has become extremely difficult. I am going to have to see if my company will switch to a competitor. Only reason we use Adobe is because we are a very large Microsoft customer and I guess Adobe is often teamed with Microsoft.

Cannot save to this filename
We started seeing this Save error on 12/30/24 with no change on our end other than keeping Adobe Acrobat Pro and Reader up to date with current version (2024.005.20320 64-bit). PCs OS is both Windows 10 and 11 pro. Our network share is DFS but testing done on non-DFS storage doesn't exhibit this issue nor does local storage.
