  2. Bug Report: Update Watermark - Position > Vertical Distance setting > inconsistent setting / display

    Using Adobe Acrobat XI Pro, Situation:
    a watermark was added to a document, vertical distance set to " 2 Milimeters from Top" and document saved. Then re-open document, use "Tools > Pages > Watermark > Update...". The settings in dialog box are displayed as they were saved (e.g. Vertical Distance: 2 Milimeter from Top), however in the preview pane, the existing watermark shows at another position then in dialog (position is displayed at Inches instead of Milimeters). Watermark shifted somewhere to the middle of the page.
    Workaround: change Vertical Distance setting to another unit (e.g. Centimeters), then change back to…

  4. Disappearing Text

    After editing a large pdf file and saving it, upon re-opening, text has disappeared. Please see the attached file and advise. This appears to be affecting the Title pages, not imported ones. PLEASE HELP!

  5. Adobe Acrobat Pro 2015 (2015 Release (Classic) | Version 2015.006.30417) crashes when I try to edit a PDF on Windows 7

    Hi,

    I have the Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 2015 and it always crash when I try to edit a PDF. Always appear the message "Adobe Acrobat DC has stopped working".

    I tried the fixes below but they was not solve the problem:

  7. Bug: When I go to edit PDF and add web links to a full paged image, the image tilts.

    Bug: When I go to edit PDF and add web links to a full paged image, the image tilts and causes a white line to appear in the bottom right of the page where the image is no longer covering due to the tilt. Also the entire image will look crooked at this point too. I have to go to Edit > Undo to make it go back. This is weird and very annoying and happens every time I use Edit.

  9. Automation of watermark placement

    Would like to set up drop-app that would automatically place pre-configured (pdf) watermarks, one for the first page, another on the rest.

  10. Missing characters through entire document after saving PDF

    Spent hours editing a PDF document only to re-open after saving it and find the entire document was missing characters. Randomly omitted letters throughout the document with white spaces. It is 15 pages of unprofessional unreadable **** now.

  12. Being about to type equations when you're editing PDFs.

    My professors take out certain parts of their powerpoints so students have to go to class to be able to fill in the PDF of the powerpoints. But, sometimes, I need to fill in equations but there is no way to add them like you can in Microsoft's equation editor.

  13. Drawing on PDFs

    As a student, I love adobe acrobat. I use many PDFs for research projects, and need to draw lines easily and do some equations using my touchscreen. It would be great to have a pen in the quick access tool bar, instead of having the bulky comment tool bar on top. Maybe i'm missing the option, but I'd love to see this. A competitor to one note?

  14. EDit PDF popup

    Each time I open a pdf document sent to me by my publishers, a pop-up dialbox comes saying EDIT PDF with the option ADD I don;t want this; besides, it costs money, I'm broke. How can I get rid of this unsolicited horesment? no unsubscribe!

  16. Bug: missing font styles in Acrobat DC for Mac

    When editing a PDF, I can't select some font styles (e.g. "Futura Condensed" is not available in dropdown).
    There was no problem with Acrobat XI.

    Adobe Acrobat DC (2017.009.20044 / French language)

  17. Random missing letters appearing when editing and saving over a PDF

    I cannot upload as the information is sensitive but there seems to be a programme glitch when you are editing and then saving over PDFs. I have just attached a screen shot instead. It happens maybe 8/10 times but when you are editing the text on PDFs random missing letters appear. It seems the only way to get around this is by copying and pasting the letters back in place and this doesn't even always work. The PDFs were originally designed in Indesign and saved out as PDFs as templates to be edited afterwards. I have called Adobe many times…

  18. It would be of great help adding a "Technical Drawing Border" in Tools

    When I make a technical drawing and save it on PDF I usually go to tools and add a rectangle as a basic border. It would be great and very helpful having an option for adding a technical drawing border instead of a simple rectangle (see attached sample)/

  19. I'd like to be able to copy/paste text from one PDF into another one and have the tagging structure follow it.

    It would be nice if the tagging structure followed text that is copied/pasted and/or exported/imported from one PDF into another one.

  20. Adding Text content in PDF is soooo slow.

    First of all, using the Text tool is extremely slow. You click it one place, it shows up somewhere else, and then there is a 3 second delay whenever you type something. Horrendous.
    Second, if I'm create a drawing or markup that includes both lines and text, they aren't all selectable in the same mode. Text is only selectable when "Edit" is on, while lines aren't selectable in that mode. So i can't move or copy that drawing any where unless I do them separately .
