  2. I succesfully combine them but the file size remains the same even if I change the file size option to small. I was converting images that were around 2MB.

  3. I am able to combine multiple images into a combined PDF file but then when trying to save, I can select the location and hit save, but nothing happens and the save is NOT completed. This seems to happen if the combined file is more than 300 pages, regardless of the images size. If I perform multiple combines and the total pages exceed that threshold, I need to quit the application and restart to be able to save. This only occurs with the 64-bit version (latest version and versions since last June) as I am now working with the 32-bit…

  4. When using the combine file function, it would be extremely beneficial to include the individual file names on the page automatically when the binder is created. Example: When combing several hundred photos into a binder having the adobe include individual file names (normally created by the camera system used to take the photos) on the page would make it easier to share a file with someone and then be able to discuss individual photos. It would ensure all parties were viewing the same photo as well make it easier to locate a particular photo to print as well.

  5. Our previous PDF tool allowed us to create a PDF of the bookmarked document names. It added a Page at the beginning of the PDF with the document name, page number and the numbers when CTRL Click on them moved to that page of the PDF. Our attorneys like this feature, because it tells the recipient exactly what they got in that PDF. It worked like a Microsoft Word TOC.

  6. Its frustrating and confusing for our users to have to save each time they create or combine a PDF to have to save it locally. When the process is complete the PDF opens in Adobe, we would then save to our DMS, not locally. Make this save disappear.

  7. When printing to Adobe PDF printer driver we can use custom page sizes. However, the driver software is not allowing to add pages smaller than one inch (if only one dimension is smaller than one inch - the definition is not possible).

If there is a reason of not supporting a small pages, it should be published and documented. Also, when adding custom pages smaller than one inch there should be a warning or error messages displayed. The existing page definitions should not be automatically deleted.

  8. We experienced a serious bug at my organization that led to a data breach.

I work in the assessments department at a medical college and we provide endpoing assessments to our trainees in order to graduate and receive specialist status.

After each exam, we use mail merge from Microsoft word, plus the Adobe "generate a pdf" feature, to issue result letters to passing and failing candidates. There are different letters for passing candidates vs fail candidates.

If I were to just do this with Mail merge (without adobe) you are limited to opening the final dialogue box of one of…

  9. When you create a PDF from Acrobat>Tools>Create PDF from Blank Page, by default, it creates the document in letter size. However, in Europe we work with A4 all the time. It would be helpful to setup the default to A4 (or other format) so that Acrobat pro always uses this default page size when creating new pdf pages.

  10. I received an Acrobat file in regards to our building strata company and it is unreadable in Adobe Acrobat DC 2015, but is perfectly readable in Microsoft Edge. Not properly readable with Firefox. I believe it is the result of combined Acrobat files.

Maybe Adobe can fix this problem.

  12. Please restore the 'merge PDFs' capability. I do not mean 'combine PDFs'. Merging PDFs was simple with Acrobat X.

  13. Government applications want no hyperlinks or hover over. They can toss the application. However, Adobe doesn't offer a way to remove. In fact at times establish the hyperlink you just removed in the word doc before converting. Need to be able to remove at the source document rather than user software options.

  16. I'd like an Acrobat utility that permits one to swipe to the next page, or use a key to turn the page, so the PDF becomes more like a book. Here's an example of such software: https://www.1stflip.com/page-turning-software.html

There are many products out there. I like Acrobat Reader and I'd like something that integrates perfectly with it, and with my existing Adobe subscription.

I think the idea, and the value of the idea, is self-explanatory. It's an extension of the creative possibilities that is key to your marketing.

    Thank you.

  18. We need PDFMaker logs from Outlook, specially when we try to convert folders or files from outlook there is no tool that can provide that.
We only have logs for Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  19. In the past, I have been able to select multiple PDF files from a Windows File Explorer, right-click, and "Combine files in Acrobat DC..." However, lately it no longer works. The Acrobat DC program will open to the home tab, but then I have to go back to the explorer and redo the process, then it will work. So, it appears the program needs to be open before the combine PDFs option works. Is there a way to fix this, so it will open the program and go to the combine files tool immediately, other than repeating the process twice?

  20. Dear Adobe engineers,

I want to report a VERY annoying bug, which happened now several times.

I use the latest versions of Acrobat Pro DC (2022.003.20258 | 64 bit) and Microsoft Excel (2209 Build 16.0.15269.20200) 64bits, both French versions under Windows 11.

I have an Excel spreadsheet containing 12 invoices tabs, one per month. If I export in PDF only one tab, ALL OTHERS ARE DELETED and the PDF file is not created!!! When I reopen the Excel file, all tabs but the current one have been suppressed (my files are automatically saved and synced on OneDrive).

    I have observed…
