    Hi Valeria,

Thanks for reaching out. We are really sorry for the inconvenience you are facing.
As much as I understand from your post, you want to convert an HTML document to PDF from browser. It is unclear if the document is a locally saved HTML file or an online URL.

Unfortunately, local HTML files cannot be converted from browser as Acrobat browser extensions only work for online URLs. So you will have to use Acrobat Create PDF tool to convert the file.
    1. Launch Acrobat.
    2. Go to File→Create→PDF from Web Page.
    3. Click on “Browse” button and select the HTML file to be converted.
    4. Click Create.
If the converted document is not proper (as mentioned by you), please share a sample HTML file with us so that we can check the issue.

If you want to convert an online URL, you can use Acrobat…

  2. Ever since the latest update Adobe is prompting "Are you sure this file is from a trustworthy source" every time you print to PDF from Outlook

  3. Acrobat 11 had a feature that showed the number of pages in each document being combined. Acrobat DC has it but you must hover over the document to see it.

I often combine 100 pdfs together to make one document. I need each file to have even pages so that they print correctly and each section starts on a left hand page. In Acrobat 11 I could read at a glance which sections needed an extra page. It now takes 15 to 20 minutes to hover over each pdf (there are 100 of them) to see if they have even…

  4. We are an enterprise customer with over 1,000 Adobe users.
I would like our users to be able to create animated presentations using InDesign rather than PowerPoint and export the content as an interactive PDF. Currently this can't be done, you can output the animation using Publish Online, which outputs a URL, which isn't secure or in a format we would want, not everyone wants to view presentations on the web, most of our presentations our confidential!

I can't express enough how useful it would be to be able to export the animation to interactive PDF. We could move the…

    Hi

Thanks for your feature request. This would be more applicable for InDesign team so would request you to log it under InDesign forum.
However, we have also added it in our backlog which will be prioritized based on other items.

    Thanks
    Tanvi

  5. Prior to the most recent Acrobat update, I was able to use the Acrobat "Create PDF" plugin to create PDFs showing tracked changes. However, now the plugin automatically puts the file in "No Markup" view when it PDFs. This is very frustrating! The only way to create a PDF showing tracked changes is to print to PDF. The Acrobat plugin is now useless. Please fix this! The "Create PDF" plugin needs to PDF the Word file in whatever view is currently enabled (e.g., Simple Markup, All Markup, No Markup, Original) instead of Defaulting to the "No Markup" view.

  6. I can drag and drop emails from Outlook into the Combine Files Window, however, when you "combine" the files, the attachments are embedded rather than attached at the end of each email. You can manually convert each email in Outlook with attachments in that fashion, but when you have 100+ emails with attachments, that just doesn't work.

  7. This is a bug. When using the acrobat extension in macOS microsoft Word to convert the doc to a PDF it removes internal links. It works fine for external links such as websites, but if I put a link in place that quickly takes you to another place in the document when clicked, this is removed when converting to a PDF. The text still appears blue but the link is not existent.

  8. Simply format support for OpenOffice formats used by OpenOffice and LibreOffice.

This is vital for those that prefer those formats over Microsoft Office formats. While they aren't as fully featured or useful in some cases they are free and open source making them a great alternative to the closed source formats of their Microsoft counterparts. Plus my book features some of these formats and i'm too lazy to convert them over...

  9. You can't perform simple tasks in the program anymore. You try to flip multiple pages so they appear in the correct direction and the program closes. You try to save a file and the information needed is blanked out with another bug. You try to use the stupid AI and it takes several minutes with each page.

I'm working for a large company with brand new computers. There is no issues with the internet connection. This is the only program that continuously crashes trying to do the bare minimum of features.

This is precisely why no one wants AI. It's…

  10. Using latest MS Word and latest Acrobat DC on latest MS Windows.
Creating PDF from docx file, turned off all accessibility features in Word and Acrobat. Settings maximised for best quality.
Since last week, the export is rendering some fonts as Black in the PDF, whereas in Word they are Navy blue, or white with navy background.
Rebooted, installed updates, tried other colour combinations, checked all Word and Adobe settings for accessibility. I have opened the PDF in other viewers and the problem persists. Images are all fine, it's just the font colour which changed.
    This was working ok one…

    1. How do I share the comparison report view with customers who only have Adobe Reader?

    2. Ability to export side-by-side or two-page comparison report view so that customer can see the same comparison view using only Adobe Reader. To see proposed view, see attached file "Expected result (also available for Adobe Reader users)".

    3. This two-sides comparison view with visible comments is clear and user-friendly. It is important to be able to share our work with our customers, who typically don't have Adobe Acrobat. This may also make Adobe Acrobat more attractive than buying the alternative solution from PDiff (https://www.csci.de/en/pdiff/).

  12. The Adobe Acrobat PDF printer needs to be updated to work on Windows 11 ARM architecture. It will not currently install as the drivers must be specifically written for the ARM architecture. This means it won't work with any of the new CoPilot PCs using the SnapDragon processors.

  13. "Print" a webpage screen shot or a document of any type and add it to an existing PDF in one step "in-place" without first saving it as a separate PDF or "combining" into a new merged PDF. Capability to add to the beginning, end or after any specified page in the existing PDF. Full, neat page structure - no snipping needed. Choice of PDF quality. The application NovaPDF by Softland can do all this. It would be great to have this integrated into Adobe Acrobat.

  15. Adobe Acrobat Pro is having issues on conversions from MS Word to a PDF where it is combining characters into a single character. Most of the time it is the combination of lowercase "ti" when they show up together (e.g. Section, information, location). It functions properly in the source file of MS Word, but on the conversion Adobe combines the characters into a single character together and then doesn't recognize what character it is, throwing a Character Encoding Error. To fix you have to go into the editor, delete the combination character, and then retype the "ti" into the text…

  16. Huge resource hog and cannot export Combine PDFs. Go to save and a blank window appears. Adobe DC is a piece of garbage. I've seen nothing but problems after XI. It's gotten slower, more buggy and the interface and process of using is even more cumbersome than ever. If your idea was to cause more users to spend more time on your software... good job! Mission accomplished! Now I need a solution since you've totally ruined me being able to use it for anything. Oh, but I pay for keeping it updated.

  17. Ever since the new Adobe update I cannot combine 4-5 photos to create a single PDF. I used to do this all the time, but now it does not let me. Extremely frustrating as I am trying to get work done and I cannot do a basic function. Ive tried downloading the photos all sorts of ways, and even tried to work around the error through dropbox. Nothing works. I cannot upload the photos.

    1. Select 2 PDF files is the same folder to combine.
    2. Combine then Adobe Acrobat DC.
    3. Choose "Save As".

The default folder seems to be a random place on my computer. It's never the same folder as the one with the two files that I just combined. And it takes a bunch of typing or clicking to get back to the original folder.

This happens every single time I combine files, making it really tedious to do something that should be easy.

Please set the default folder for 'Save As...' equal to the folder where I opened the files.

  18. Steps to reproduce issue: Open word, click "create and share Adobe PDF" wait for 5 min. receive error message. Repeat. It is pretty regular event. Lately its 90% of the time I try. When the product works it produces a beautiful PDF, and when it does not it produces nothing. Considering that my work requires this regularly, it is rather frustrating. To have something I pay $20 a month for, not work.
